Excellent

What a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean , staff were brilliant , food delicious (and Im a fussy eater). Very busy but expected that in August. The room was slightly outdated in parts but absolutely no issue. Location great for us oldies , central for everything. Great supermarket next door and bus stop to Cambrills just outside. We had half board and ate like Kings. Special shout out to Carlos and the lads in the Sports Bar who made our holiday special by being so funny and kind with outstanding service. Cant wait to come back.

Lovely hotel and great staff

Holiday reception really nice and staff were lovely, food was great with plenty of selection and a great location. Rooms cleaned everyday and hotel was spotlessa bit busy around pool but a great week..

Nice hotel in a great central location, with a few areas for improvement

We were a family of 12 staying at the hotel and overall had a nice experience. The hotel is in a great central location, close to both the beach and the nightlife, which makes it really convenient. The hotel was nice and clean throughout. Some of the rooms looked more modern than others, but they were all clean, so credit to the cleaning staff. It would also have been nice to have a kettle in the room. The reception team were very helpful whenever we needed anything. Unfortunately, the food was probably the biggest disappointment. It was very repetitive each day and seemed heavily focused on fish. It would have been nice to have a little more variety, including more of an English-style breakfast. The restaurant staff were friendly and worked very hard, although one older chef who made the omelettes each morning came across as quite abrupt and, at times, arrogant when serving guests. The pool area was lovely and clean, and the entertainment team worked really hard to keep everyone entertained throughout the day. The pool bar was reasonably priced, and the staff did a great job, but they definitely need more help during busy periods. They were doing their best, but it was clear they could have done with another member of staff. One downside was that the pool doesn't open until 9am, meaning there is a queue to make sure you get a sunbed. The queues were relatively small and we always managed to get beds, but it would still be better if the pool opened earlier. The hotels 30-minute rule regarding sunbeds was also a little frustrating. If you're away from your bed for more than 30 minutes, your towels can be removed. I understand the reason behind the rule, but 30 minutes isn't really long enough if, for example, you want to nip inside for breakfast. One member of staff suggested getting up earlier and having breakfast before the pool opens, but with young children who are still asleep, that's not really practical when you're on holiday. Overall, despite a few things that could be improved, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean, the staff were generally friendly and hardworking, the pool area was enjoyable, and the central location close to the beach and nightlife was excellent. With some improvements to the food variety, pool staffing and a few of the hotel policies, it could be a really good place to stay.
