H10 Marina Barcelona, Barcelona

Lovely stay at the H10 Marina in Barcelona. We travelled as a group of 4 girls for a weekend break. Reception staff spoke good English and was an easy check in. We were treated to a glass of champagne as a welcome drink. We arrived early but were allowed to use the pool area. It was quite small and limited sunloungers which I think get taken up quickly. There are no shower facilities and a single toilet (shared male/female) to service pool area. Pool bar food was good & reasonably priced. Rooms were nice- clean, and stocked mini bar. Bathroom was nice & upto date. Selection of toiletries- shower gel, razor, toothbrush etc. Good room service that cleaned every day. Hairdryer & ironing board available. No coffee machine/kettle. Breakfast was good- nice selection of cooked and cold. Nicely cooked and not greasy. Lovely common areas around the bar and reception area. We didnt use the spa but treatments looked reasonably priced. Location is about 10 minute taxi journey from Marina and beach (around 6 in taxi). Not much immediately around hotel but there is a small supermarket shop right outside. About 15 min taxi to main centre. Good things nearby: Opium nightclub. This is also a really nice restaurant before club opens. We had a lovely paella for around 20pp. You can then stay on after your meal if you wish and avoid paying the 20 entry fee for club. We left after dinner but was a lovely spot to eat overlooking the beach. San Sebastián beach is nice (15 min taxi). Loads of nice, reasonable beach cafes etc and a larger stretch of beach, although still busy. We didnt go but apparently the Wet Deck at the Marriott W Hotel is good for those wanting to party and can hire a lounger bed for the duration.

Just spent 3 nights here over the weekend, and we were very happy with this hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, the food and service in the restaurant was very good. Located outside of the city centre in a quiet residential neighbourhood but still within walking distance to the beach, zoo, Sagrada Familia cathedral (20 mins), Marina and gothic quarter/la Ramblas would be a good 30 mins walk. Be careful of the hidden service charges in the restaurants in La Ramblas, 15% on top because its La Ramblas & another 20% service charge, which made what we had very expensive. Rooftop pool is very nice in the morning, but got quite busy in the afternoon with all sunbeds in use. Room was clean and spacious with huge king size bed, very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone not wanting to be right in the city centre but can easily access by walking, cab or metro.

Lovely hotel , clean comfortable . Near the sea , metro and red bus routes close by. Sagrada familia about 25min walk Great breakfast , lots of choice . Staff very helpful and professional . Pool and spa available . ..

Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hotel's interior is bright and inviting. The breakfast room is pleasant and provides a good variety of food, including fresh fruits and hot breakfast items. The bar and pool area offer stunning views of the city. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk away from the seafront. It is even closer to public transportation and the Hop-on, Hop-off buses
