H10 Palazzo Canova, Venice

What a gem! The hotel is really well located, a 2 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and, consequently, it allows you to get to anywhere in Venice just walking. It is less than 15 minutes to Piazza San Marco, 20 minutes from Santa Lucia Statikn (train), 25 minutes to the Vaporetto station that can get you to the islands around). The staff is very friendly and ready to accommodate any request you have. It was a highlight on our trip In additional, do mot get fooled by the hotel exterior, the interior is very clean, modern and luxurious. Rooms are very big for Venetian standards, clean, comfortable and also modern. We could not be happier with our choice.

The location, on the Grand Canal, within sight of the Rialto Bridge, was perfect. There are docks directly in front of the hotel where it was easy for the water taxi to drop us off and pick us up. When we arrived we were immediately met by a bellman who took charge of our luggage. Check in was efficient. Our room was not ready, but our bags were stored, and after a glass of prosecco, we were off to see the city. You can see the Rialto bridge from in front of the hotel. From there it is a quick walk to Piazza San Marco. In the afternoon we visited the roof top bar where we enjoyed well made cocktails and views of the traffic on the canal. Breakfast was way above average, with a large selection of baked goods, fresh fruit and juices, and meats and cheeses. Made to order eggs were also available. And the staff were quick to bring more coffee, or anything else we needed. We cannot say enough about how great the hotel staff was. We were always greeted when entering or leaving. Over our three day stay we saw staff members several times and they often asked about our stay or how we liked the recommendations they had made. We would absolutely return to this property.

Food is wonderful, service is wonderful, drinks are wonderful, view is wonderful. No bad words about this place, being your friends or family and be prepared to be satisfied. The Italian tapas plate is good and the lasagna is delicious, if you like a limoncello spritz, try the Italian job!

My husband and I have just returned home after staying at the H10 Palazzo Canova. We stayed for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing, from our pick up at the airport to the private speed boat which I arranged directly with the hotel . What an experience such a fabulous start to our trip to Venice. Sofia was so helpful she arranged everything for us . I wanted to surprise my husband with a beautiful bottle of red wine to be in our room on arrival and they did not disappoint , with a few nice treats also . Thank you Sofia . On arrival to check in we were treated to a drink of Prosecco ( although you can choose fresh orange or water .) check in was so quick and we were taken to our room . Our room was so lovely and very clean just beautiful. The hotel staff are so friendly and so helpful. Maria helped to organise a private area to enjoy our wine which was perfect. The choice at breakfast was amazing and so delicious I would recommend the omelette with smoked salmon.Fruit and yogurts are super tasty . Staff are so efficient and nothing is too much trouble. The staff really do make this hotel a wonderful place to stay . Sofia also arranged a trip to see the glass making which was just fabulous. A private boat was arranged to take us there. I would highly recommend a gondola ride it was perfect . Also a nice meal listening to jazz music which we stumbled across. Pizzas were delicious. All in all we had an AMAZING trip / stay in Venice and thank you to all the staff especially Sofia and Maria who were so kind and very helpful. The rooftop bar is just fabulous and the staff are just so friendly they make amazing cocktails. I highly recommend a stay here . I would love to stay again .
