Happy at the H10 Palmeras

This was our first stay at the H10 Palmeras in Playa de Las Americas although we have previously stayed at other H10 hotels elsewhere and are very familiar with the resort.
After a delayed flight we arrived late in the evening and too late for dinner. Reception was smooth, professional and informative, particularly John. They also arranged for a really good cold meal for us.
Our impression of the staff during our stay was that they were helpful and friendly, particularly two young ladies, Elisa and Priscila who worked very hard in the dining room.
Our room was pleasant with a sea view and good sized balcony. Storage space for our clothes was a little bit limited but we managed. We felt that the number of electric sockets was very limited also and didnt find any USB charging outlets. Fortunately we had brought our own. Housekeeping was very good
There was a good range of food and we also had the option of the Italian or Japanese restaurants. We were staying half board on a Privilege basis, which we would recommend.
We are likely to stay at the Palmeras hotel again

this hotel is in a brilliant location handy for beach, cafes and amenities, The hotel itself is very clean ,the room we were in (215) was very clean with a great sea view .but the bathroom could do with some work ie shower over flowed onto bathroom floor due to poor seal round door and sealant round glass .there was also a few slack sockets that need attention, the food was good there was something for every taste ,we found the piano bar could be quite cold the downstairs bar had a nice atmosphere bar staff were very friendly entertainment was a bit hit and miss. pool area was brilliant and pool bar was good. found the hotel bracelet system poor as there is no receipts given so you don't actually know what you're being charged. overall we had an enjoyable week

It was my ,first holiday alone, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly, from the lovely chap by the pool who sorted my umbrella for me to all the staff, entertainment in the pool was great, plenty choice of food which was delicious, rooms were spotless.my only moan is I caught the bug going around, and the road view was loud at night, but once i closed the doors it was ok. I will be back next year.xx
