We stayed in one of the family bungalows and thought it was fantastic really spacious, clean and perfect for a family stay. During the holiday, the snib on our upper balcony door came off in my hand. I tried calling reception but unfortunately the room telephone wasnt working, so I had to walk up to reception to report it. That said, the response was excellent and a technician was at our room within the hour and had it fixed quickly. The food was great throughout our entire stay, with plenty to enjoy at all meal times. At the snack bar, we quite often ended up with something different from what wed ordered, but honestly, it was never really an issue everything we received was tasty, so there was certainly no need to complain! The only real disappointment came when checking out at 12pm. Our all-inclusive bands were cut off immediately and we were told we would have to pay for any further food or drinks. Considering the cost of the holiday and the fact our Jet2 pick-up wasnt until 6pm, this felt pretty poor and left us with six hours where the all-inclusive package wed paid for was effectively over. The animation team were absolutely phenomenal throughout the holiday kind, funny, engaging and genuinely entertaining. Both the adults and children were in their element, and the team really helped make the holiday what it was. Our kids Jackson and Harrison loved the kids club activities and staff as mentioned. The same goes for the bar and waiting staff, who were excellent throughout. Another big positive was the branded spirits at the bars. One tip though: if you order a daiquiri or piña colada, ask for it to be blended! Otherwise, youll get the version from the syrup machine rather than a freshly blended one. Overall, a solid 8/10. A few small issues, but nothing that spoiled the holiday, and we would definitely return.

The best hotel in south Tenerife

Loved this hotel so much. We paid extra for the privilege package and it was so worth it with sky bar on open 5-10pm (except Tues and Wed). Deck; loungers, bar services, tables and plunge pool and amazing views all around on 5th floor, all included in all inclusive. However 10am to 8pm was the privilege lounge on the 4th floor with same amazing views. Self service lounge with brand drinks/spirits fridge with beers, prosecco, bottled soft drinks and coffee machine/choice of teas. Snack foods were brought up regularly and restocked. Comfy sun loungers and a jacuzzi, and to be fair we stayed there all day from the second day. Again included in all inclusive. Privilege gives beach and pool views. We were on the 7th floor, with amazing views. Bedroom, lounge, large bathroom and balcony, accessed from room and lounge. You get free towels daily, free safety deposit and water and chocolates every day/when you get the room cleaned at your choice. You also can book breakfast every day in the Italian restaurant. Although checkout was 12pm, you could still access privilege facilities, though we were going back to families home before flying later at night. You also get privilege check in on arrival with Prosecco. The restaurant food was so amazing and tasty. Lots of choice at all meal times. Even had different types of milk at breakfast. Didnt make the cake shop, but looked amazing( too many amazing dessert choices). Also didnt make the other two restaurants can you believe, though was never sure when we were meeting up with family. Staff in all areas were so amazingly friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are immaculate. Loads of loungers in the vast pool areas. Your bracelets are also your room access key and gives you access in the back gate at the promenade. Didnt always make entertainment but could view from the room above. In the lobby bar one day there was a girl singing at the piano one day which was really good. I dont think we accessed all areas available and apart from meeting family some days, we never really left the hotel, which is saying something for us. Been to Tenerife more times than I care to think and sometimes you want to try other countries, though we will come back to visit family often and we will most definitely come back to this hotel as I dont think you can beat it. Negative - All of south has declined over the decades due to the drug dealing, spreading beyond Veronicas. They go away when you say no and dont harass you, then they recognise you and leave you alone afterwards. However I stress you dont feel unsafe at the hotels and busy areas. I know the locals hate it and I think them, the hotels and police have to think of something to stop this, but there is probably new people who will take over. Will most definitely be back to this amazing hotel.

Best relaxing break so far

Just spent the best week relaxing at this hotel. Firstly the great part. We decided to treat ourselves to the privilage package which for me made the stay better. Arrive at the hotel late on the Thursday night and went to check in. Gave name and reception recognised the privilage package. Asked if we would like a seat and glass of wine while the check in process was being carried out. Once complete we were asked if we would like our bags taked to the room. The room was a junior suite overlooking the pool and sea. Minibar stocked with water and soft drinks on first day. Water only following that which was not a problem as all inclusive. Room was cleaned every day, food was amazing. Had use of the a la carte restraunts but never bothered as the food in the main restaraunt we superb. The pool area was great but after trying the privilage lo7nge and sun deck we didnt bother going back to the pool as the privilage area has its own private plunge pool/hot tub. Food and drinks were also help your self. I could go on and on about all the great things this hotel has the offer. Now the not so good part. This is not the hotels fault but when you step foot outside the hotel doors your met with drug dealers trying to sell you whatever. Unfortunatly that part of Tenerife just gets worse every year for drug dealers. If that dosent bother you then you will have a great time here
