H10 Big Sur, Tenerife

Just got back from 11 nights here. Had a good holiday the weather was spot on. Had breakfast and our evening meal at the hotel. We really enjoyed it for the first half of the holiday but felt it went downhill. Options became less and the quality went slightly downhill. So opted to eat out the last 2 nights. The pool is fairly small and as its july was busy. Sunbeds are tightly packed together. We found the sunbathing areas on the top of the hotel and the beach better options. We were placed in a room on the 7th floor..no problems with it..the room was fine the bed comfy...wasn't entirely comfortable with the safety of the balcony...so tried not to use it. About a 100 foot drop with a low barrier not quite sure how they get away with it with health and safety. They need to look at somehow raising that barrier to make it safer. Most of the staff were friendly and hard working..one lady knocked on my door and told me off for taking the mini bar items out of the fridge-she looked miserable..we opted to keep our water brought from the shop cold in the fridge instead as it was 35c-40c so was nice to drink cold water. Overall it's a decent hotel would prob not return though..lot of different nationalities staying here..picked up a vibe that us brits arnt liked by a fair few.

A nice hotel with friendly staff, good dinner and comfy beds. Don't miss the aquarobic sessions in the pool area provided by Isabella. She will make you burn the breakfast you had in an entertaining way. I think that because of her I've just discovered the workout that suits me.

Just got back from a 9 night stay at this beautiful hotel, cannot fault this hotel! Food is excellent we stayed half board always plenty of choice of fresh cooked food, staff at this hotel go over and above to please you, cleaners are lovely and friendly and do a good job of keeping the hotel Presteigne, we upgraded to a sea view as soon as one became available this is well worth the extra cost, such a beautiful view! Always plenty of sun beds the pool side is kept clean at all times, free towels for pool area just everything about the hotel is perfect. Two complimentary bottles of water and coffee pods each day which is a lovely touch. We have stayed at many hotels in Tenerife but this is certainly the best in every way ee will be back thank you H10 big sur!

Virtually impossible to find a higher quality adults only hotel in Los Cristianos. Excellent location, especially if you select a sea view room and only a short stroll to the best beach, Playa las Vistas. Exceptionally clean hotel with courteous and friendly staff throughout. Great that there is a proper pool control to stop the selfish "reserving sunbed" oils. Entertainment each evening, heat lounge and bar areas. We are fussy but couldn't find any thing to really complain about. Fully intend to go again next September - if we survive!
