H10 Big Sur, Tenerife

This is the second time we have visited this hotel, the first time last year returning this year. The hotel is perched very close to the end of the coastal path walk that stretches from Los Cristianos all the way past Los Americas ending at costa Adeje and is in a very quiet position about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Los Cristianos. We chose on both visits to have a sea view room as the view is amazing that over looks the harbour to the right of the hotel, and opening your balcony door to the sound of the sea waves makes the experience even more special. The hotel itself as stated is small and caters for adults only, which makes it the ideal place to relax, the pool area although small is never excessively busy nor is there the sun lounger wars that every holiday maker has had to endure. There is also a new small plunge pool on the 8th floor (top terrace) of the hotel which has been recently refurbished and for the sun worshiper a must see. The staff are extremely professional and during both of my stays have always assisted when required and always smile and make you feel like you are important to them. The restaurant food is always fresh and in plentiful supply with a grill chef that will cook the meat/fish of the day to your liking, however for 9 euros per person there is the option of booking the ala carte tables which are all situated outside again with views of the sea and where you have the option of starter, mains and desert we did this twice such was the high end quality of the food and table service. The bar which hosts evening entertainment is very well stocked and is well attended in the evenings by the hotel residents due to its relaxed nature. Is there a downside to this hotel? Well if I was to split hairs it is that the rooms are slightly on the small side and could do with just a tiny bit of TLC, however saying that we love this hotel so much and the H10 brand we have joined the H10 members club where you can book exclusive rooms...... so here is to 2026 when I shall be returning to Big Sur for a third time to open the balcony doors but this time on a panoramic sea view room!

We had a lovely stay at H10 Big Sur! The staff were absolutely fantastic so friendly and helpful from start to finish. On our last day, they even let us use a shower before leaving, which was such a nice touch. The food was great, and the breakfasts were especially good. Everyone in the restaurant and housekeeping team was so kind and hardworking. The pool area was gorgeous, really relaxing and well kept. We paid extra for a superior room with a sea view, which was beautiful but unfortunately the air conditioning didnt work properly, the technician tried three times to solve it but ended up making it really really noisy so he put it back to how it was and we moved rooms. It still wasnt great (and still quite noisy), we left it at that though we didnt want to complain again because we wanted to start our holiday and not have to move rooms again, and luckily I had brought my earplugs which were definitely needed with the noisy air-conditioning. The bathrooms could also do with a proper refurb they were clean but dated and quite shabby especially the shower enclosure. Not good. Aside from that, our beds were comfy, we got little gifts in the room each day, and we were greeted with champagne on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a really good stay fantastic staff and facilities, just let down by the aircon and the bathrooms needing a lot maintenance and TLC.

First time at this hotel for our anniversary lovely welcome on arrival, room had red balloons cava and chocolate treat a nice touch, great views from balcony, breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem was we couldn't get our complementary water in the mini bar fridge it would be nice to be able to choose a empty fridge or mini bar full of hotels drinks and snacks to purchase that was our only problem. The hotel is very clean and plenty of sun loungers. I'm sure we will be back. X

From the moment we walked into H10 Big Sur, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. It was a lovely first impression that set the tone for our entire stay. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to a high standard. We had everything we could possibly needfrom quality toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and even toothpaste, to thoughtful extras like a plush dressing gown and slippers, which made our stay extra comfortable. The pool area was also impeccably clean and well maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding. Overall, H10 Big Sur exceeded our expectations. It's clear the staff take great pride in their work and care deeply about guest experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning ourselves!
