A wonderful experience at H10

It was our first stay at H10 Mediterranean Village, we had a wonderful experience, we definitely plan to return next year. We really enjoyed everything! Especially the friendly staff, the facilities, the delicious food and the beautiful location. We cant wait to come back!!

First time staying at this hotel

First time staying at the H10 Mediterranean hotel, as a family of 5, 3 generations. Hotel: It is a lovely hotel with lots going on, spacious reception area with lots of seating, beautifully scenic hotel, 3 outdoor pools and a splash park. Lots of day time and evening entertainment, kids club, supermarket on site, few places to eat. Lovely apartment rooms with room service. Pools: The pirate pool with the slides is the busiest pool and the sun-beds go quickest but very fun for the children. Its either shallow or deep, no inbetween for my toddler learning to swim, he had to use armbands unfortunately. The Daisy stage pool has a large pool with a small baby pool next to it, this is where some of the activities seem to happen. The jungle splash park is a hidden gem, its a fantastic waterpark for younger children with a range of slides in very shallow waters. There was always sun-beds available here. The only down side and room for improvement the splash park doesnt open until 11am and every time you want a drink you have to walk over to the hotel and come back and unlock the gate with hands full of drinks. Would be more beneficially to have a bar open, a vending machine or a QR code to order drinks. Life guards were friendly and always watching the pool. Entertainment: There was entertainment going on all day, the reps were very busy. They were always friendly. The only problem we had was finding where the entertainment was as this was clear. We asked reception where we could find the evening tattoos and they sent us up to the kids club room up the top but it was empty and we found out it was on the stage and almost missed it Evening entertainment there was a good range which we all enjoyed from circus skills to the Beatles. Food: We enjoyed breakfast daily, tried dinner a couple of times but it wasnt for us. On arrival we wasnt offered a drink on both occasions so had to eat dinner without a drink. The food is pretty samey, with a lot of mixed meat but there was a variety offered. My boy enjoyed the ice cream section. Our choice was try the restaurants in cap Salou and they didnt disappoint. Location: This hotel is in a quieter area called cap Salou. It is in a great location. There is a supermarket, an Irish bar and around 5/6 restaurants all within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. Our personal recommendations would be route 66 and the tropical. The cove of beach is opposite the hotel, down some steep steps. There is a bus stop outside the hotel, this takes you into main Salou / Portaventura in 10/15 minutes. The bus plana opposite sells multi trip cards which work out great value for money. There is a road train outside, that goes in to Salou. More expensive but something a little different. Our only negative about the hotel were: - Arriving at 11am and not having access to the room until 3pm. - As already mentioned not having a bar or vending machine available for drinks at the splash park. - Not finding the snack bar our last day as it was hidden away we didnt see it. It - The app not telling us the location of the activity that was on. - Lastly, we dont feel one lifeguard can safely watch 4 slides all in different directions and the splash pad, feel they should have 2 lifeguards to ensure safety. Also at the pirate pool the lifeguard responded quickly to an accident but when we took the child off for first aid the pool was without a lifeguard or supervision for around 15 minutes which again, something tragic could have happened in that time. We would recommend this hotel and we would stay again. Special thanks to Ania on reception for explaining most things well on arrival which gave us a positive start to our week.

Absolutely fabulous

Absolutely amazing hotel , could not of asked for more , lovely & clean , big airy room with a balcony , we were half board - so much lovely food to choose from , great facilities, the swimming pools are lovely, lots of loungers , nice little gym, great entertainment, lots of local attractions & the staff are fantastic! Will visit again soon& would highly recommend for couples / friends / families

Mediterranean Village Cap Salou 2023

What an amazing holiday the hotel was of excellent standards and the resort was lovely. Special mention to Sebastion our bar waiter for the excellent service Cap Salou is beautiful a little hilly but you get used to it beautiful coves and beaches with beautiful La Pinaeda only a 20/25 min stroll away and the main town of Salou a 10 min bus ride. Be sure to get the multi person bus pass can’t remember what’s it’s called but 10 journeys for €10 then only €6.5 for a top up of 10 more trips Would 100% return
