H10 Casa del Mar, Mallorca

Very friendly staff, musphata on the roof top bar is brilliant makes you feel very welcome. The other staff are also brilliant and always happy to help. Only one problem with the hotel is that the air conditioning in the room isnt great and it made us sick for 2 of our days

Great hotel ,great staff ,great food ,spotlessly clean ,let down by minor things .We have visited this hotel for the last seven years because of the above , However it is let down by a lack of parasols and sunbeds .They had this problem last year ,we complained to reception and they said they were waiting for them to come from the mainland.One year on and still short ,today it is 34c to hot to sit in without shade ,and a family with a young baby that cannot get shade.So we had to go and buy one which you cant take home .It is compounded by people coming in from outside and other hotels and using the pool the beds & the parasols that guest are paying for . A wristband idea would be good idea for guest and given priority over walk ins . Even more annoying when they get the beds and parasol ,and go off for hours on end. We have visited hotels where towels have been removed after 2 hrs which should be implemented here.The onsite lifeguard given permission could monitor the above .I have just counted 119 sunbeds & 27 parasols .So I parasol to 2 sunbeds =54 sunbeds have cover with a shortfall 64 sunbeds not having any cover at all.You need double the amount to provide adequate cover .Annoying to think once you have finally found the sun and paid 2500 for the benefit of it you cant sit in it ,because of none payers using the facilities.

Three of us stayed here last week, clean rooms and comfy beds, breakfast was fine, bugbear for us was never being able to get a sun bed in the 4 days, from 9am all beds covered by residents towels, didnt think this was allowed.? Also quite a few groups of lads which we were suprised to see. Great location opposite beach.

Lets get the bad out of the way first (and its not really the Hotels fault) If you book a room with a sea view, be prepared for some nights without sleep. The noise from the road in front of the hotel (on some nights) is full of clubbers going back to their accommodation. This noise goes on until circa 06:30 and is similar to a football ground emptying after the home team have won (its very very noisy). Now the good: Amazing location Good food Clean rooms Friendly staff Quiet pool area (no sunbed fighting) Special shout out to Kiprat and the rest of the team in the dining room (enjoy your retirement Carlos), also the reception staff who managed to move our room when we complained about the noise, we also spoke to them regarding bus info etc. and always found them to be very pleasant and helpful. This is the second time that we have stayed at the H10 and I doubt that it will be the last.
