H10 Villa de la Reina, Madrid

This hotel was at a perfect location in the middle of it all! Friendly and professional staff, clean rooms and a very delicious breakfast (and we got a picnic breakfast bag on our last day and early departure!). We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it!

Can't beat the location of the hotel, just in the hearth of Madrid on the bustling, wonderful Gran Via. Many restaurants and bars close by. Close to the most of the attractions, and to the rest you can easily get to with the excellent public transport (bus and metro stations close to the hotel). Lobby is one of the most beautiful I've got to see, really welcoming and nice to take a rest after exploring the city. Wonderful staff ups the experience. I stayed in the room with the terrace. While room was on a small side, the terrace made it all - nearly the size of the room, it was a great place to relax after the sightseeing. Bathroom was good size, tho showing sings of a need for update. Overall, very clean. Breakfast was good, various choices of cold and warm options. I got spoiled with excellent breakfast at H10 in Sevilla, so I can say - it can be improved.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Location is perfect, right near the Plaza Mayor and within walking distance of all the major sights in Madrid. The lobby and bar have plenty of comfortable seating and are nice spots to relax between outings. In the lobby there is free coffee and rolls in the morning, and cava and candy every evening. The breakfast is plentiful with juices, fruits, cake, crepes, pan con tomate, meats and cheeses, yogurt, cereal, eggs and sausages, breads - anything you could want! Our room was large with a massive king size bed with comfy pillows and sheets. Our bathroom was also massive with lovely soaps, shampoos and toothbrushes. Tub/shower combo with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Robes, safe and espresso maker in the room. My husband had a health emergency while we were staying here and every staff member was alerted - they all asked how he was doing every time they saw me. I highly recommend and would stay here when I return to Madrid.

Lovely friendly hotel, very near all amenities, the receptionists were very helpful, explained how to get to places and recommended places to visit. The room had rituals toiletries which were well received, the only gripe was the room, it was very small and hardly any room to get past the bed to the bathroom, you had to walk sideways.

This hotel was recommended to me; it did not disappoint. The location on Gran Via was between the Gran Via and Banco de Espana Metro stations in Central Madrid. The hotel was older but looked good. The king-size bed was firm and comfortable - not too soft. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We prepaid breakfast but they made takeaway picnic breakfasts when we had to leave early.
