H10 Duque de Loulé, Lisbon

Stunning property, Staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you, they also pay a high attention to detail. The bottle of Prosecco in the room on arrival was a delightful surprise! The rooftop bar is a must with panoramic views over the cityscape of Lisbon.

We loved it here. Our second stay in an H10 hotel and another one booked for October. The location of this hotel is perfect, a short stroll from the Metro and/or a lovely walk down to the river and up to the park. Gorgeous little bakery on the corner and many shops and supermarkets just steps away. We arrived a bit hot and bothered after a bit of a traumatic drive and a puncture but the reception staff were friendly and welcoming and we soon relaxed - helped by a glass of cava and a pastel de nata. By the way there are complimentary drinks and pastries in the lobby between 4 and 6 every day. Our room was gorgeous - a corner room on the 5th floor. 504. It was very spacious with one of the biggest and most comfortable beds ever. A juliet balcony looked over the side street and a larger balcony out over the main street. It took us a while to work out that our room was actually on the first floor as the hotel has some levels downstairs from Reception. There is another entrance on the side road which is really useful when returning from one of the many long walks we enjoyed. The room was spotless, well furnished with plenty of storage. The only think I needed to ask for was more clothes hangers. The bathroom was lovely but slightly odd as in the loo was encased in what looked like a glass shower enclosure. No purpose for it at all as it provided no privacy. Two bottles of water provided on arrival but these were not replenished which seems a bit mean for a hotel of this level. Also, we were given two little boxes of Lindor truffles on our first night and expected/hoped for these daily - as we had enjoyed them at our last H10 - but they never appeared again. As H10 members we were given a complimentary cocktail which we hugely enjoyed on the lovely rooftop bar where the staff were particularly good. I will review dinner separately but we very much enjoyed breakfast in the Azul e Branco dining room. There was an excellent cold buffet and table service for hot food and drinks although we discovered that coffee was a bit slow in arriving so we used the self service machine available to all. The fresh orange juice is excellent. The breakfast room staff were lovely but maybe a bit in need of more training as service could be a bit slow and haphazard. All in all a lovely stay and we would recommend this hotel for a base in Lisbon.

This is our 3rd time in Lisbon and 2nd time in this hotel. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The staff are amazingly friendly and the food is incredible. Breakfast was included in our tariff and there is a great selection. We ate in the restaurant 3 times in the evenings and the food was incredible as was the service from the a la carte team. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

A charming boutique hotel right next to a metro stop. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. They are stylish and clean. Not much counter space in the bathroom as it's very small and slippery ! Be careful. The doors aren't very private either. Public spaces are nice. We never ate in the restaurant as it's too expensive, same for breakfast. Turn left out of the hotel and there is a terrific breakfast place to start your day on the corner. Cross over to the metro and you are on your way to see Lisbon ! The rooftop is where it's at and is a real treat ! Great views, great vibe, good snacks and drinks.
