A Good Quiet Hotel
Maria C
Our holiday was great. The hotel is great. Unfortunately we had some bad weather - some rain and lots of wind - we had some weather warnings! The location was a good spot, nice and quiet. A stroll along the coastal path and there were some shops, restaurants and a marina.
The rooms are okay although when the wind blows you can feel it - quite draughty. The food was excellent and plenty of it! The only criticism here was the lack of vegetarian options, you really had to work out what you could eat.
Cleanliness - overall a very clean hotel both inside and outside even when we had torrential rain one day/night housekeeping were straight out with towels mopping up where the wind had blown the rain into some corridors. The housekeeping staff were great always friendly.
The atmosphere was very good too with the entertainment in the evening keeping everyone happy. Daytime activities were kept to indoors because of the weather - my husband and I accidentally joined in with the water aerobics class at the indoor pool, but it was fun!
We didnt have much noise as the hotel was not that full for the time of year.
Yes, over all I would say it was value for money. I think we would go back at some point.

The best hotel in Lanzarote!

We have recently returned from two wonderful weeks AI in TP. We were lucky to arrive mid-February at the start of twelve days of perfect weather, before the clouds and wind took over! Nevertheless during those last days we found plenty of other things to do, rather than just soaking up the sun. On one day, we decided to have lunch in the pool bar, where we were entertained to a demonstration of how to make Sangria, followed by a session of live music. The animation team work tirelessly to ensure guests are happy and enjoying their holiday, without being too pushy.
I agree with previous writers, who mention the spacious rooms with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms, as well as the extensive well-tended grounds. It is such a relaxing environment in which to spend one's holiday.
We ate in the a la carte restaurant on two occasions and were very pleased with the food, the service and the ambience.
Our only area of disappointment was with the food in the main, buffet style restaurant, which we thought was average at best and sometimes poor. I do not think guests should need to use the microwave to heat up their meal, which we found sometimes to be tepid.
In spite of this, we will be back! We have sampled a few hotels in Lanzarote but this is definitely the best!

Privilege

Just back from here. The hotel is lovely looks like the pictures easy to get around. We upgraded to Privilege from all inclusive at reception in my opinion I dont think its worth the money just shy of an extra 600 euro for 2 for 7 nights. You have a pillow menu some designated sunbathing areas and a drinks lounge and I dont think theres much difference in the rooms. The la carte breakfast isnt great and the buffet has way more on offer great..The food at the la carte restaurant is average and also at the pool bar the buffet is better depending on the night. The entertainment is ok but gets very samey quickly. Also be aware this hotel is very popular with much older couples.I also found some of the staff a little rude but it seemed they had extremely long shifts. You can ask for a refillable water bottle at reception you can fill yourself. From check in I didnt feel a luxury experience and not much was explained for what we paid the food really let it down Great drinks selection however only one beer by draft and bottle.i wouldnt opt for privilege again wasted money.

10 break in Lanzarote.

What a great hotel the H10 Timanfaya Palace is. It's in a good location, the large rooms are excellent and kept superbly clean. Beds are very comfortable with decent size balcony. I would recommend the pool/sea view rooms because the views are great.
The choice and quality of the food in the (buffet breakfast and dinner) restaurant is very good and the service from the hotel team in every area of the hotel is as good as it gets. Very pleasant, polite and efficient team. Really super.
Evening entertainment was good but a special shout out for Gentlemen of the Road who do a simply brilliant show - a must see if you visit Lanzarote.
This was our 8th stay at the Timanfaya Palace and we are bound to go again.
