H10 Timanfaya Palace, Lanzarote

Love this hotel!

Third time here and as fabulous as ever! I cannot rate this place highly enough. Everything was perfect for us as usual. Went just with my two sisters this time, one of whom is in a wheelchair with very limited mobility. Requested an adapted room and got just that (thank you, Jose, for arranging this). The three of us shared room 409 and even with the extra bed, there was plenty of space for us. Special mention to Pepe in the restaurant - he made sure we had a table for dinner each night that my sister could easily access. This service and attention to detail is what keeps us coming back again and again. See you all in October, when we'll be coming with our husbands once more. Thank you for another wonderful holiday!

Amazing hotel, perfect relaxation.

We had an amazing holiday. So quiet and peaceful. All the hotel areas are very tidy and clean. Lots of places to sunbathe, you can always get a sunbed and the no reserving rule applies, which is a welcome addition, thank you to the hotel for upholding this rule. Beautiful views out to sea of the other islands from the terraces. Montana Roja, a volcanic peak, is just a short distance from the hotel, and well worth a climb to the top for an outstanding view. Playa Flamingo beach and a few shops and bars are just 5 minutes walk along the promenade from the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and kept clean daily by the wonderful housekeepers. Sea and pool view room was amazing. We had room 360. No sun in the afternoon on the balcony. Lots of activities throughout the day in different areas of the hotel, such as cocktail making, wine tasting, water aerobics, archery, tennis, mini golf. Just join in, no need to book. Very enthusiastic entertainment team however no pressure to join in. Thank you Matea, Christina and Philippo. Sports bar upstairs above hotel Reception so we could watch England play in the World Cup! Staff are so attentive, friendly and enthusiastic. Food choice was plentiful, including cold meats and fresh salmon and variety of cheeses for breakfast. Freshly cooked to order breakfast pancakes or omelettes, well stocked bread station, freshly made fruit smoothies. Coffee station for variety of coffees and freshly brewed coffee brought to your table too. Staff we wish to give a mention to are: Kumar one of the restaurant waiters. Mohamed waiter in the pool bar, very charismatic. Angel waiter in pool bar very enthusiastic. Jean also one of the waiters in La Geria bar was very good. The Reception staff were also very helpful with any requests. Great holiday, we would return.

Fantastic Stay - H10 Timanfaya

We have just arrived back from a glorious week in the H10 Adult Only Timanfaya Palace in Playa Blanca. I always read reviews prior to booking and hopefully you will find this useful. Firstly, we were greeted by friendly reception staff and a lovely glass of fizz, added to that we had a room upgrade as it was my special birthday and our travel agent had given the nod Enquiries@travelboxholidays - thanks to both... The hotel grounds are amazing and so spacious, loads of areas around the pool where you can have lots of choice for sun loungers or beds with canopies. Even better was the fact that there was no crazy dash for sun loungers as there was always beds at any time. You are given sun lounger towels for use, but any further change costs 1Euro. The room was fab, and the cleaners did a fab job - this was the best air conditioning we have ever had which included a fantastic ceiling fan. Restaurants are spacious and well laid out, however we did not eat in the poolside bar. We were All Inclusive, the drinks are all top end and there are no limits, including soft drinks, water and snacks. The food was nice and always topped up fresh. Every night had a slight different theme, this was paired with a little shot of whatever the theme was, for example, Italian came with limoncello. This is our only negative about the hotel - the food. Although a lot of choice, this became very repetitive and themed food did not really have the flavour. If we had stayed longer that a week, we would have eaten out on some evenings. This is a shame as it was the only aspect that lets the hotel down. The majority of the staff were very friendly and had a bit banter with you, there were only 2/3 staff that were not friendly and in some cases a bit rude. The hotel is well situated and great views, especially from the reception outside bar area. Promenade walks both ways and plenty of shops, bars etc nearby. We love cats and they have the Timanfaya gang that live at the hotel in the grounds - but keep themselves away from the main areas. There is also plenty of activities / entertainment if you want to enjoy. We had a fantastic week and would definitely return, looking again for August...

Absolutely lovely hotel. No issues whatsoever. Food lovely with great choice and staff couldn't have been more obliging in every area of hotel. My birthday when there and pleasantly surprised when cava and a cake were produced at dinner that night with staff singing Happy birthday. Lovely. My sisters and I will definitely be back the sooner the better
