Fabulous Hotel

Just returned from an 11 night stay at the Timanfaya Palace. We stayed at a H10 in Lanzarote last year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay but this H10 hotel is a step up. The position is fabulous just on the edge of Playa Blanca but a gentle stroll into the town.
We really enjoyed the food and the many different choices, particularly the wonderful variety of different fish options available at every meal. All the staff are really pleasant and helpful from the moment you enter the hotel, and always have a smile on their face and a cheery word for everyone. We were also impressed that Jack the assistant manager took the time to come to the welcome meeting and introduce himself and assure us that us enjoying our stay was really important to him and the team.
All in all can highly recommend the hotel and we are already trying to arrange another visit later in the year.

The hotel is good with lovely outdoor areas and is spotlessly clean. Sunbeds were plentiful though the weather wasnt brilliant but we liked the way they arent all lined up and spread around the grounds. We were half board but upgraded to Privilege and that would be the only way we would consider booking in future. We could use the Kasbah la carte restaurant for breakfast and in the evening with a booking. We could use the Privilege Lounge for drinks and snacks, crisps, nuts and sweets, and went for a drink and snacks at lunchtime and again after dinner. There werent many seats either outdoors or indoors and used glasses and dishes werent cleared often enough. We went to the main restaurant a few times but it was very busy and noisy, and there were hardly any vegetarian options and very few fresh vegetables. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and a very spacious bathroom and balcony. Overall the hotel is lovely but the food choices need to be improved.

Fantastic Hotel

This was our third visit to this hotel.
Me and my husband spent a week here in January and once again had a wonderful holiday.
Weather wasnt great, so the staff were having to work extra hard to try and keep everyone happy. They still did it with a smile on their faces and didnt let the cold and the rain ruin things.
We were AI Privilege, which for us is well the price. We had a lovely sea view room, which had plenty of space and indeed a great view from the balcony. We had breakfast in the Kasbah every morning as we prefer a more relaxed morning and service was always great.
We did eat in the buffet restaurant at night and once again could not fault the service. Once Pepe saw that my husband was as wheelchair bound, he made sure to have a table ready for us with a chair removed and even had our water and wine waiting for us.
The only issue we encountered on this trip, was the constant breaking down of the lifts. While we know this cant always be helped, it is a major issue for someone that is reliant on a wheelchair. Hopefully these will be fixed soon, as we will be returning at some time for another holiday.
