Fabulous Hotel

We stayed here in November 2025 for a week. The location is perfect close to the centre. Our room had a pool view very clean and spacious. The cleaners work very hard and the standard is high. There are plenty of sunbeds at the pool. We stayed bed and breakfast there was a good selection of food. We did have the buffet lunch one day and again a good selection. Mike's coffee shop is a lovely addition. The reception staff are so welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Overall great value for money and cannot wait to return with our son this July for the summer holiday. Thanks again to everyone at H10 Lanzarote Princess

Good but could be great!!

First time staying at this hotel and on arrival, reception staff were courteous and we checked in within five mins of getting there. Hotel smelt so clean and the initial vibes were very relaxed.
The positives.
Staff. The staff are outstanding here ,especially the bar staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they were all exceptionally polite.
Cleanliness. The hotel is spotless ,not one bit of rubbish spotted during our week here on any of the hotel grounds .
The coffee shop. What a great addition to any hotel ,somewhere to go for a decent coffee ,lovely cake and just chill for 30mins or so .
Location. 10 min walk to the town,15min walk to the marina and 3 or 4 min walk to the beach . In our opinion, the best located 4 star in Playa Blanca.
AI drinks. The best AI drinks package of any 4 star on the island in our opinion, outstanding.
The negatives.
The rooms. We were on the third floor and ,sadly, our room was quite dated . Our balcony was very small and the door to open the balcony looked rusty and sounded like it badly needed changing . The beds, rooms itself and bathroom were clean yet dated.
The food. Sadly,in our opinion, this was the biggest let down of the hotel. We're not fussy eaters at all but as soon as we sat down for our first breakfast of the week ,I knew going AI was a big mistake. The food was luke warm , the bacon and sausages tasted terrible and the beans were like water . We weren't expecting Michelin quality food but it was poor. The dinner that evening was equally disappointing, poor quality meat products ,spread out far too wide apart and not warm enough . After day two,we couldn't eat there anymore ,it was of that poor quality. Choice was awful and on one night it was basically make your own hamburgers!! Dreadful in our opinion.
Conclusion.
I genuinely think if they could radically change their food output and if they refurbished the rooms, this could comfortably be the best 4 star hotel in Playa Blanca I'd even put it alongside the Rubicon palace which is now 5 star .There are so many good things in place at this hotel just a shame one or two things let it down.

Clean, easy walk to the promenade, but not a quiet room
Badforever
Upon arrival, you are greeted by a very grand foyer. Note: it was a longish walk from the ferry terminal, pulling suitcases up hill all the way. Consider a taxi based on your abilities. Staff on the desk were friendly. High volume hotel so no chance for an early check in but no problem storing luggage and given you freedom to roam the resort and area. We asked specifically for a quiet room as our last H10 hotel had noise from nearby pubs. We were given room 2073 and assured it would be quiet. It was not! In fact, at 830pm we learned we were directly above the live singer in the pub! So, unless you plan to be in the pub, or in town at the many pubs, ask for a different room. Altogether, the room is not very soundproof with sounds of coughing neighbours or furniture being moved on the tile floors above or squeaking patio doors being open and closed. No big deal - just making you aware. And the air conditioner drowns out all of the above so there is that, lol. This is a full resort, just like a cruise ship with multiple pools, activities for kids and adults, bars, restaurants etc. The breakfast buffet was extensive with hot and cold choices including made to order omelettes. Unfortunately the Japanese restaurant was closed during our stay, and the gift shop is closed on weekends (?). Not to worry, you are a short walk from countless restaurants, touristy shops and clothes shopping. Easy access to the ocean front promenade which stretches literally for many kilometres in each direction. One final thought: it was kind of cheap of them to charge 2.60 euros per day for the in room safe?
