Great hotel, shame about the weather!

Fortunately the hotel was warm and welcoming, because sadly the weather was anything but!
Cold, windy and little sun for our week here, but the quality of the food and meals, and the friendliness of the staff, meant we still had an enjoyable week.
Excellent comfortable room with great lighting ; many UK hotels should take note where too often we find rooms where it is almost impossible to read the lights are so poor.
Breakfasts were a highlight with plenty of fruit and hot food. Evening meals too were excellent.
My only grumble was the gym, where the bike and one of the cross trainers weren't working properly.
If we returned to Lanzarote, we'd definitely come back to this hotel.

Excellent hotel, great location but very busy.

This was a first, both at a H10 hotel and to Lanzarote but was it first class. I well remember Lanzarote being called Lanzagrotte so wasnt sure what to expect. We arrived in the dark; what would we wake up to? The room was adequate but had a view of a hedge and was consequently quite dark. Its nice to sit on a balcony with a drink soaking up the view. No drinks on this balcony which got some morning sun. Otherwise, nice room.
The hotel itself is smart with well manicured outdoor spaces, a large, unheateedvoool and a small heated pool colonised by parents and young children.
The location is excellent as its just off the promenade. Turn left and you can walk to the Rubicon Marina, turn right, lots of restaurants and shops and the town. This was great.
Dining in the hotel was a mixed bag. Copious quantities of a huge variety of foods were on display for the buffet style meals. There was a station where foods were cooked to order and an amazing array of pastries. However, it was a victim of its size and was akin to Strensham Services on A Bank Holiday or any other busy services. People circled like hungry sharks, children cried with hunger or boredom and the general cacophony did not make for peaceful eating. The array of food was great but somehow lacked flavour. Service very efficient
Staff on reception also friendly and helpful.
Would I stay again? Not sure. Loved the hotel and location but considering that this was Feb and not Half Term Week, Im not sure I could take it.
Will look at other H10 hotels as liked the facilities.

Good value hotel in a prime location

Well established hotel, spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was good and plentiful. The aqua aerobics class was professionally run. The hotel benefits from a heated indoor pool with glass walls and ceiling as it was windy during our stay . Hotel is close to the beach and promenade and minutes away from restaurants, bars and shops.

The Princess Hotel was fantastic in every aspect, the location, hotel facilities and ALL staff were amazing.
