H10 Lanzarote Princess, Lanzarote

First visit to Lanzarote in many years , loved the hotel & resort , weather was breezy & sunny every day, not ridiculously hot.The staff at the Lanzarote Princess were all polite & helpful when asked about anything. Loved the 2 additional restaurants at the hotel , maybe going paperless for restaurant admission & drinks would be easier, prevent queueing at busy times , & be a great addition to the hotels save the planet policy!

Just back from a week AI at this great hotel. Previously stayed at Dreams Preferred just next door, but the H10 Princess ended up significantly cheaper without losing out on quality nor experience. We didn't bother with Privilege as unlike Dreams Preferred it doesn't give you anything more than a lounge and a couple of other minor benefits not worth paying for (IMO). Took two standard double rooms, expecting rear mountain and car park views over reception, but seemingly got upgraded to pool and partial ocean views which was lovely. Rooms modern, clean and spacious. It's a nice wide set out hotel and grounds, giving the feeing of space, even though really only the one pool (there is a second covered heated pool but it's not appealing when hot outside), it's well designed and there is plenty of space for everyone. The main pool is unheated, but when it's 25-30C outside, it's lovely and refreshing and within 5 secs of jumping in, you're warm (I hate cold water and didn't find the pool an issue at all). Food is freshly prepared, well maintained and offers a varies choice for all diets - the main buffet offers great choice for breakfast, lovely light lunches and a rotating array of choices in the evenings, sometimes themed and always offering Spanish favourites too - the staff do a great job of keeping it looking freshly stocked, very clean and hygienic. There are two a la carte restaurants too (Italian and Japanese/Teppenyaki), which if Ai you can choose 2 nights per week (I believe if Privilege you can east every night including breakfast) - you have to book these on the app. AI wines all great too. For lunch/daytime you can also visit the Cactus Bar which does nachos, chicken wings, fries, fresh salads, sandwiches, etc. all made to order and served up within a couple of minutes). There is also a coffee bar that additionally offers milkshakes, iced coffees, cakes, etc. This coverts to an outside bar in the evenings when shows are on. For drinks the poolside bar is fast and efficient - thanks mostly to the super fast and efficient Lorena, always smiling, always happy to help and the quickest bar person I've ever come across - lovely lady and a great ambassador for H10. Beers, cocktails, whatever you like (lovely pina coladas, sangria and the like. Then in the evenings the upstairs Piano Bar serves a wider selection of branded drinks and cocktails, usually again with live entertainment. Finally, the biggest mention must go to the animation/entertainment crew, specifically Bence and Hugo who are just superstars of epic proportions - how they keep up the energy, attention to detail and service for 12 hours straight is commendable. The whole crew are great of course, but Bence and Hugo are the reason we could return to this property - they focus on all age groups, from kids activities and disco, to water polo, rifle shooting and archery for the teens and other stuff like quizzes, fun bingo and wine & art experiences for older age groups. They really made it a special stay for everyone they come into contact with and really went above and beyond to look after H10 guests, even outside core hours. Wonderful guys! Oh and they also manage the water aerobics, water exercise bikes and more. Anyway, you can read more in other reports - but for a hotel perfectly located in the middle of Playa Blanca, less than a minute from the lovely beach, minutes from the waterside shops and restaurants, the marina and 25 mins from the airport, it offers great value, welcoming and hard working staff, visible management who care, clean rooms, contemporary design and is just the right size to avoid sunbed wars, missing out on activities and events, with lovely food and drink....you can't go wrong. Worth doing AI though I'd suggest, although HB fine too if you're not a drinker or fancy the local joints instead (so many to choose from with 5 minute walk).

We returned to the H10 Lanzarote Princess for our 4th visit this year (2024) and as with previous years, we found this to be a fantastic hotel on so many levels. We are a family of 3 with 1 tweenager and visited the hotel with 2 other families, also with kids ranging from age 10 to 13. We would give strong recommendations for this hotel to anyone and witnessed both a significant number of families with children holidaying comfortably alongside couples and friends as there are spaces to suit all needs on the grounds. As the footprint of the hotel is enclosed, it is very safe with no direct exposure to public spaces. So to breakdown all the positives (i.e. no negatives apart from we couldnt stay longer). Staff: We were always greeted with huge warmth by all staff who were very friendly, nice and really helpful when help was needed. Too many names to mention but from all at reception, Vicente, Landé and all the bar and restaurant staff, they are a great crew who made our stay amazingly comfortable and feeling like home in a nicer country. Bedrooms: Our room overlooked the harbour and had stunning views. Housekeeping crew always kept our rooms immaculate and the chocolates for H10 members is a beautiful touch. Between the super comfortable beds and aircon, a great night sleep can be had. Ensuites have everything you need from toiletries to towels and shower is amazing. Only very minor comment on our Family Room was that we could have done with 2 more drawers but a bit more efficient unpacking on our behalf wouldve sorted that out! Food: So many options where eating is concerned. Great selection every evening and something to suit everyone. We also observed both chefs, staff and managers visible in the dining room during breakfast, lunch and dinner. This extended to them assisting people who had specific requirements and answering general queries. If staying for over a week, would suggest checking out some of the other fab local restaurants as there is a lot of excellent eateries on offer. However, between the buffet, Cactus Bar and 2 on-site restaurants, you could very enjoyably not leave this hotel at all. Strongly recommend booking the hotel teppanyaki restaurant, Sakura as soon as you get there. Availability is limited but you will not be disappointed but be sure to eat light that day as you will not go hungry and likely need to be rolled out of the place Pool: Pool and pool side are cleaned morning and night, maintained throughout the day and loungers are always available. Some days we arrived after lunch and managed to grab loungers for 7 people. I did spot some people tagging loungers on my way out for my 7.30am morning run but this is not necessary unless trying to secure a specific spot or parasol. Location and Amenities: A 5 min slow walk from Playa Blanca village, the new shopping centre, Rubicon Marina and Playa Dorada beach which is beautiful to name but a few, the location of this hotel is ideal. Bus stops are outside the gate. This is located in one of the best in this part of Lanzarote. A selection of stunning running routes for both short runs, long runs or cycling routes. Access to ferry is 10 min way or taxis there are cheap if needed. Hoping to come back here next year again!

Amazing hotel, could not fault it in any way. Would definitely return. Close to beach, harbour and marina. Lots to do and was a very relaxing holiday. Couldnt fault the food choice in the hotel restaurant and all staff were very helpful. Overall a 10/10 for us
