What we needed!

A really wonderful holiday. The entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic - my daughter woke up every morning begging to go to kids club at 11am and rushed us at dinner every night to get to the minidisco. The staff really made her feel special, there was a genuine warmth from them which made my kid free time without her the most relaxing and wonderful experience. The best I could ask for from a family holiday!! The efforts made in the kids disco was admirable and consistent every night that week. I cant stress enough what an absolute credit to the hotel they are.
For a family holiday, the divide between kid space and adult space was perfect, allowing for a nice experience for us all as well as encouraging the kids to have fun.
The food was ok for buffet style, theres not much more they could do with it and there was plenty on offer. Location is perfect for a little walk into town if you didnt fancy any of it.
Drinks on offer were great, my only suggestion would perhaps be some kid friendly mocktails. Stunning Irish coffee in Mikes which became our 11am ritual. I would suggest a bar with outside seating in the evening would have been nice.
Rooms were clean and tidy every day by housekeeping, good space and baths in the bathrooms which was a god send. My only complaint would be the balcony lights going off at 11pm.
All around exactly what we needed and exceeded expectations - especially like I say the entertainments team, particularly Anna, Rueban and Noelia!

Stayed in lots of H10's and this one doesn't disappoint.
Pros
Rooms clean, beds comfy
Food great in main restaurant, the cactus bar baguettes & menu were great for a change from buffet
Daytime entertainment team great, lots of activities & all varied each day
Great location opposite papagyo centre
Cons
Pool freezing even in June!
Evening entertainment not great and the room it's held in really lacks any atmosphere
Mike's coffee doesn't do espresso martinis like other hotels have done
No outside bar or seating if you wanted to sit outside of an evening (apart from smoking area)

As a group of 12 with an age range of 3 to 65, the H10 Lanzarote Princess managed to cater for us all. The hotel is spacious, clean and well organised. Our rooms (family rooms x2 and 2double rooms) were generously sized. Our rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard.
The restaurant caters for a wide range of tastes. It was busy at times, but the restaurant staff frequently replenished food options.
The entertainment team organised activities for morning and afternoon. There was a large swimming pool part was sectioned off for children and a water slide kept everyone busy. I used the heated indoor pool as it was good to exercise in and an exercise class took place most mornings. There were plenty of poolside seating/loungers and 2 bars in the outside area. There was also crazy golf, bowls, giant chess, childrens indoor activities and childrens disco.
The hotel is a short walk from the nice sandy beach. 2 loungers and a parasol is 15 to hire for the day, The harbour in one direction, where you can catch a ferry to fuerteventura . In the opposite direction and a nice walk away is the marina with restaurants and shops to peruse. This is where the market is held on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
I would highly recommend this hotel for family holidays, as it caters for everyone.
