H10 Lanzarote Princess

When we travel to Lanzarote its normally the H10 Rubicon we book. Thought wed give H10 Lanzarote Princess a go this time due to its central location in Playa Blanca and werent disappointed. We booked a 10 night stay and arrived 11th November. Id contacted the hotel a couple of weeks prior to departure to request a particular room as I was having a mobility issue at that time and again wasnt disappointed. On arrival we were allocated a Junior Suite on the ground floor (perfect) and as we are H10 Club Grand Class members we also had the perks added too, welcome mini bar, robes, slippers, turn down service,gift and free meal at one of the specialty restaurants. Reception staff couldnt be any more helpful and friendly,hotel was spotless staff constantly cleaning. Cactus Bar served a great selection of food/snacks and again spotless. Coco Loco bar again fabulous, hardly had to wait to be served and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Mikes Coffee Shop was a real favourite of ours, there every day for the tasty Iced Cappuccino. Perfect on a hot day of which there were plenty. We had a couple of meals in the Dolce Vita restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed them, staff were great again and again. Also booked the Sakura Teppanyaki restaurant, lovely food and theatrically prepared. Not to be missed ! The main evening Vintage bar was good, sometimes difficult to get a seat but a good selection of drinks and waiter service excellent, entertainment every night with a selection of singers maybe not to everyones taste but ok. Had a few nights in the Papagayo Theatre bar, some decent acts to be seen and worth a visit. Only gripe we had was the construction work that was happening on the main buffet Yaiza Restaurant, the floor was being retiled and is a quite a large area. It did cause quite a lot of disruption even with the staff trying to minimise it. I suppose it has to be done at some time ! All in all we had a great stay, so much so we have booked to return 5th May 2026. Id just like to thank all hotel staff for their hard work and efforts looking after us so well. Looking forward to our return.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, its clean and modern. Pool and grounds were lovely plenty sun beds, bar and snack area easy access.we stayed AI - privilege we did feel the lounge could be upgraded with extra seating and a better variety of snacks, no cool area for sandwiches which was a concern Overall we would visit again

Still here having a lovely holiday……. Start with the positives as I was uncertain after reading the bad reviews. Hotel nice, clean pool area, lobby, bars etc. Pool suitable for family’s with a kids area, plenty of sun beds, drinks bar, ground generally kept clean and tidy. Staff continually working keeping it clean. Our family room was lovely on the quiet side of hotel. Maid service each day was to a high standard. Kids entertainment good and staff brilliant with the children. All staff were friendly and helpful, they work very hard at looking after the guest. Drink selection good, plenty to choose from. Good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. It is limited to some point but what is on offer is fresh and tasty. The salads are very nice. Oh the coffee shop does gorgeous drinks for adults and kids. The Italian is very good for food, we didn’t eat in the Japanese but heard it was good. The not so good points……. The staff are limited which means at meal times some food wasn’t stocked up as quickly as it should have been, tables weren’t cleared quick enough for the amount of guests which meant sitting outside wasn’t much of an option due to tables not being cleared. Having to que for the fresh grill area was a pain, but worth it. This is nothing to do with the staff as they are excellent they just need more staff! The restaurant can be hectic at busy times, we chose to eat at the quieter times so not a problem. They need more parasols as it is a family hotel so they need to provide shade for the families with young kids. Table service should really be offered for the outside entertainment area, would give an extra touch. The cactus bar only has one person serving which makes it slow, it also gets messy in there from other guests not being able to tidy up after themselves! Again no fault of the lovely staff. Don’t reserve your sun beds, we did each day so we had good shade for the kids, we returned after breakfast to find our stuff has been taken away. You then have to do the walk of shame to collect your bag with belongings inside. It was funny, they do say not to reserve your beds! ?? If you want a chilled typical family holiday suitable for all then you can’t go wrong with this hotel. Some reviews are a bit harsh. The location is fab with bars and restaurants and supermarkets a 5 minute walk away. The marina is lovely for food and a walk. I personally wouldn’t do All Inclusive again in Lanzarote. It’s not expensive to eat out and the quality of the restaurants is very good. Thank you to the hotel and staff for a lovely holiday in the sun, but please see the negative points as a way to improve on the little things that matter.
