Art has the power to transform spaces and enrich experiences. And this philosophy has become a fundamental value in some of our hotels. Our group boasts 68 hotels in various destinations, but three of them were conceived to have a special connection to the art world: H10 Art Gallery (Barcelona), The One Barcelona and The One Palácio da Anunciada (Lisbon).
They have been designed to put art at the heart of their identity, boasting exhibitions, permanent collections and cultural experiences. In honour of World Art Day on 15 April we're shining a light on its contribution to the artistic landscapes of Barcelona and Lisbon.

The H10 Art Gallery is a boutique hotel and a tribute to contemporary art. The permanent collection includes original works by great Spanish artists including Joan Miró, Miquel Barceló, Jordi Alcaraz, Fernando Alday and Marzo Mart, displayed in the shared areas. Their artwork is an invitation to contemplate and connect with art from the moment you arrive.

Art is a key element of The One Barcelona's identity. This 5-star Grand Luxury Hotel is located in the heart of the city, next to Passeig de Gràcia. The hotel is home to a carefully selected collection of contemporary art, boasting works by Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies, Manolo Valdés, Mina Hamada, Yago Hortal and Fernando Prats, among others. The pieces are a prominent part of the shared spaces and rooms, testament to the hotel's commitment to offering a sophisticated cultural experience.

Located in a majestic sixteenth-century palace, The One Palácio da Anunciada combines art, history and architecture in an exclusive environment. The hotel's unique original features have been preserved – including coffered ceilings, original frescoes and centennial gardens – complemented by a meticulous selection of artworks, reinforcing its cultural credentials. The permanent collection includes works by contemporary Portuguese artists, spread throughout the building's shared spaces and grand halls.
Art runs through the soul of many of our hotel locations. From classical Rome with Miguel Ángel, da Vinci and the Sistine Chapel, to avant-garde Berlin with Bauhaus, the East Side Gallery and Museum Island. Barcelona exudes Gaudí's modernism and Miró's creative energy; while Málaga pays tribute to Picasso and is home to the Pompidou Centre. Madrid boasts its impressive Art Triangle – the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen galleries – while cities such as Córdoba and Seville show the richness of Mudéjar art. In Lisbon, history lives alongside a blossoming art scene, while London stands out for institutions like the National Gallery and Tate Modern. Every destination offers an unforgettable cultural journey.
