Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful time here at the One Palacio da Anunciada, Lisbon. The service was impeccable. Such a beautiful hotel. So clean and the decor was beautiful. I cant say enough about the wonderful staff that treated us so warmly and accommodated our every wish. I would like to name some of the wonderful staff who we encountered the most. They are Tito Pinheiro, Eduardo Silva and Bye. I would recommend this lovely hotel very highly. .,

In Lisbon, You wont be disappointed staying at The One Palacio da Anunciada.

My wife and I are visiting Lisbon to see our daughter who is studying at NOVO for the semester! We chose to stay at The One from a referral from a friend and the referral was spot on! As we checked in, our Amex Platinum Card travel reservation helped us to get a wonderful upgrade to a lovely room - #502! Our breakfast each morning was in one of the two gorgeous dining rooms of the palace which have been amazingly renovated. The drinks and tapas in the garden couldnt have been more relaxing! (Try the shrimp tempura tapas - you wont be disappointed!!) the spa was lovely - my daughter had a massage and we had a relaxing dip in the indoor pool - we need to return in the warmer months to enjoy their beautiful pool on the top level! Thank you Sarah, Lucas, Beatriz and the entire housekeeping and Breakfast team!! Thanks again! Now off to Porto for a stay at The One there. They have big shoes to fill!! Thank you again! Cheers! Incredible

We have had an incredible one week stay with the one. From the initial registration with an upgrade to cozy garden.thank you ruben Lovely access to garden. I want a special shout out to lucus ( tall lucus) who went out of his way with our room, giving advice on day trips when reception unavailable. Even offering to take us to pick up spot and advocated for us with uber access point he deserves a promotion. The front desk dear especially ricardo and Edward were amazing. So helpful and informative. The guy with cool mustashe was so enthusiastic! We appreciate micheal at the breakfast, so kind helpful and professional Thank you to all the staff. So accommodating and cannot do enough. Thx

Portuguese hospitality at its best!

We had a fantastic stay at The One Palacio da Anunciada. At check-in, we were upgraded to a premium room, larger and a bit more spacious. Pedro at the front desk was very personable and gave a complimentary food and drink voucher to use during our stay. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food. At the Wine Bar, we had the burger and the tuna fillet, generous size portions for both and that also included a complimentary tapa. We had the trilogia dessert plate which includes several Portuguese desserts, such as ovos moles and our favorite, toucinho de ceu. Definitely try it. Also at the wine bar we had our complimentary cocktails and snacks the following day, we had the chicken wings and the shrimp tempura. Service was outstanding. Dinner at Condes da Ericeira was also wonderful, since it was Saturday we had a couple of musicians playing live Fado music creating a very nice atmosphere. We had the scallops as appetizer which were incredible, and our main dishes were the snapper (with seafood) and a Portuguese traditional codfish dish with eggs and potatoes all combined, which was delicious. I recommend this dish. Eduardo Silva was our main server, so friendly and attentive, he was so easy to talk to and explained the characteristics of the dishes in such a calm and pleasant manner. And Beatriz Lopes was our other server, she had served us the day before and it was great to greet her and of course, she spoiled us again with dessert, we had the trilogia again (with toucinho de ceu) and the abade de priscos pudding. Very professional and very personable, they did go the extra step to make us feel comfortable and treat us exceptionally well. To be honest, when we found out they would be our servers for dinner, we knew it was going to be a great dinner, and it indeed was! We also enjoyed the complimentary sauna and heated pool, it has limited capacity just 4 people at a time at most (2 couples). The other great surprise was the on-site art gallery, we decided to try it out before dinner and it was definitely worth it, the works on display are very beautiful. Ins Carolina guided us through the different pieces and helped us understand the stories behind them. We really liked the pieces from Hans Varela, a Cuban sculptor, and also Luis Marin, a geometric and abstract painter. We were fortunate enough to meet both artists, as well as Gretta Balin, the curator who represents a wide range of contemporary artists. Meeting them added a whole new dimension to the experience, enriching it without a doubt. Overall, it was the personalized service, the Portuguese hospitality, and the gallery on-site that made our trip memorable. Wed return in a heartbeat when were back in Lisbon.
