H10 Art Gallery, Barcelona

This is a really comfortable hotel in a good location. Pleasant and friendly welcome at reception and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a Superior Granados room, which was nice and had everything we required. I asked at reception for a kettle and one was provided within minutes. What I didn't realise when booking was that the superior rooms look out onto the main road. Its not heavy with vehicular traffic particularly but at night time and into early morning it is very noisy with people. We had folk screaming and shouting outside at all hours of the night, the 2nd night we used some rather excellent earplugs and they helped considerably. I'm not sure we would have had much sleep without them! Its not the hotel's fault, but you just need to be aware that earplugs might be required. We also had an issue with the TV in the room, hardly any of the english speaking channels did not have any sound... very odd ! We raised it with reception and they said someone would look at it, reception didn't advise us of anything after that. We assumed there was nothing they could do. We saw on a previous review that someone else had a similar issue a little while ago. Despite noise and TV problem we did enjoy our stay. Breakfast was fab... lovely selection and quality fruit and pastries. Eggs can be cooked fresh, and the omlettes were delicious. The hotel is surrounded by eateries and bars... lots of tapas and we found a couple of lovely Italian restaurants too. Takes about 30 minutes to walk to Las Ramblas.

The hotel was in line with our expectations. A warm welcome, convenient rooms with balcony and rich breakfast made our holiday even better. Though I have recommendations : - in the TV menu channels other than spanish/catalan were very limited. What if for one reason of the other we had to stay in the room for long hours and have nothing to watch... - balcony was very enjoyable. However, when we sit in the balcony the kitchen smell was disturbing.

Stayed here after reading reviews in 2022 and loved the location, service and venue so much returned in 2023. Rooms are stylish and comfortable, excellent breakfast, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions; prompt, courteous service and help securing transportation.

Stayed 3 nights with my wife, no kids for the first time in years, overall experience was good but some points to note as per some other reviews. Hotel is very smart and modern, rooms are clean and would definitely recommend a superior room with balcony which is what we had. Roof terrace is small but a real sun trap. Centrally located for all the tourist attractions but be prepared to do a lot of walking. Staff are very professional and curteous. Points to note are there are no tea making facilities in the room only a coffee pod machine and its £4 for a very small cup of tea in the hotel which was still too weak after 2 tea bags. We were given 2 complimentary drinks vouchers for the bar upon checking in but were unable to use them as the bar was closed all 3 days from tea time all night for private functions. The room was cleaned once during the 4 days which meant we had to ask for toilet paper and coffee pods for my wife as both werent replenished. The minibar in the room is very expensive, supermarkets all around outside which is where we stocked up for the room. Negative points are all minor and would likely stay again.

Peaceful hotel in a busy busy city! Welcomed with a cold glass of bubbly which is always a good start. Lovely room with balcony (we paid extra for this) & was most welcome to relax on after a day pounding the streets. Room was modern and clean, with a good size bathroom & robes/slippers. We stayed room only so cannot comment on breakfast, however, there were lots of lovely local bakeries selling breakfast pastries. The Eixample district is a lovely area to stay in, would definitely recommend
