Firstly I must say the esmaralda is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in there was always staff Cleaning.
The room was Great ,the view not so much it looked on to derelict land but could see the sea if you looked to the right, the room was cleaned daily the maid done a great job.
The pool was lovely again always kept clean.
The down side you have to pay for pool towels to be changed 2 euros, you do get one free change.
Also you only get one bottle of water on arrival which is a glass bottle so cant refill at the water stations, we did buy a plastic bottle to refill but the maid threw it away .
Wadi the entertainment host was great he kept us entertained with French bowls and darts.
We feel the entertainment in the evenings finished to early , it finished at 10.30 and was just getting going.
The beach was not far just down some steps
and was beautiful .
All in all a good relaxing week.

AI 6 night hol with family. Lovely room. Fab food lots of choice. Pool area lovely, clean comfy rooms. Manuel was brilliant at the bar he made our hol! Andy was also great who served us in restaurant. Not much at resort but bus to jandia area reasonable. Nice shop on site and coffee bar. Loved the turtles by the waterfall in hotel.
Beach was nice but be prepared for nudies. Would return.

After doing lots of research we chose this hotel as it is away from any hustle & bustle as this holiday was definitely all about resting, relaxing & recharging our batteries.
The hotel & the location did not disappoint. The hotel grounds are spacious, clean & tidy. There is plenty of room around the pools & the restaurants offer a range of different foods.
The staff are friendly, attentive & hard working.
We were half board & were disappointed that we were charged fees for the safe, bottled water & and the pool towel exchanges.
The beautiful beach is close by & provides great opportunities for a dip in the sea or a lovely walk.
We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

As residents of the island we took a last minute mini break for a couple of days, the beach location of the hotel was fantastic
On checkin we were upgraded to a privilege room which was a great gesture , the room was spacious and very clean with a huge bathroom
The pool area is a huge plus for the hotel and well kept
We found enough choice for the food and quality was good as was the all inclusive drinks offering
All in all we had a wonderful couple of chilled relaxing days and would return again
