A fabulous weeks stay in H10 Ocean Suites, Corralejo

We have just returned from a fabulous 7 night stay at H10 Ocean Suites. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant lady who offfered us a complimentary drink and checked us in so quickly offering us a lot of very informative information. Our room was located overlooking a beautiful pool. The room was spacious and spotlessly cleaned everyday. The breakfast each morning had a great choice of hot and cold food in a lovely airy dining room. Each and everyone of the staff were wonderful so pleasant, polite and cheerful. The bar located on the top floor was very relaxing, all the bar staff were just lovely. The hotel is in a great location just a stroll down the road to the strip. We would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Corralejo. Siobhán and Brian, Dublin

Lovely hotel very close to the centre

We had six nights here with friends. The hotel has great reviews and why we picked it. Handy location for the town. Its a very short walk down the road on the flat. Plenty of street parking right outside. The guy who checked us in was charming friendly and very good at making sure we had all the info we needed. Rooms are of a good standard not luxury but very comfortable and have all that you would need from a stay . Well appointed bathroom and nice balcony with two chairs / table . The bar area is very nice but at times hard to find a place to sit. Could do with a few more places to sit . The cabaret area was good and very good quality acts on. We played cards on the tables down there too. The restaurant was very well run and the Restaurant manager was so good and helpful and nothing to much trouble . The staff were very efficient at getting drinks orders as soon as we sat down to dinner . The food every night was a buffet but very varied on the hot food selection and I had delicious fish every night . The breakfast was also very good and lots of choice and the staff were very fast at keeping it full . They got me gluten free bread or toast very easily each day . At night you put out lots of nuts and seeds they would be very welcome at breakfast too if possible . The pools were both very nice and pretty sheltered from the wind. The outside gym gear although good as its put in all weather the seats are solid and no back pads pretty hard and uncomfortable to use . But you can go across the road and use the sister hotels spa and gym for just 5 euros which was very well equipped . All in all picked well and the staff are a credit to this hotel in all depts including housekeeping . Thank you

Expensive water

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Exelent staff,food,accomodation. Apart from that we were changed 2.80 for a small bottle of water at the evening meal. A total of 11.20 and were not informed there would be charged for, basically, tap water. This is over 4 times more expensive per liter than petrol. Water was free at breakfast and from "behind the bar" water dispensers ?? I complained to customer services with no positive outcome. We were told they have to pay for water/special filters/environmental considerations. The previous week we stayed at H10 TIndya. No charge for any water anytime. Plenty of water fountains available 24/7. I suppose we could have bought water from the local supermarket and at a much better price. I am surprised and disappointed at this punitive and ridiculous policy for those customers on Half board. It seems to me that this charge is used just to get a few more euros from guest when the cost to H10 is miniscule. These charges are disappointing and below the standards of a company providing an otherwise great service.

Brilliant couples holiday

From the minute we arrived and were welcomed with a glass of fizz we had a great holiday! We arrived at mid day and were able to check into our room straight away which meant we could enjoy an afternoon by the pool. The room was comfortable and had a big balcony and bathroom. A few touch ups needed to old furniture and the ceiling in the bathroom, but nothing that affected our stay. Beds were comfy and loads of storage for clothes! The hotel itself was clean everywhere and well maintained, even with recycling bins for the all the re-usable cups by the pool as part of their eco strategy. I is There are two pool areas. We had one day at the pool where the activities happen but it wasn’t for us (loud music and guests!) so we spent the rest of the time at the quieter pool which was lovely! We were always able to get pool beds, but if you want a brolly you need to be up early or wait until about 3pm when it starts to get quieter. Food was great. We only did a couple of breakfasts but lunch we had at the pool bar was was brilliant with things like salmon bagel, tuna poke bowls as well as wraps and mozzarella sticks on the menu. Evening meal was good too with a lot of variety. All drinks were branded and cocktails are made fresh rather than out of a gap or jug which made a huge difference. Location couldn’t be better - it is off of the main strip so it is quiet but it’s a couple of minutes walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff were brilliant. All so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Juan on reception who kept us calm and helped when our transfer didn’t pick us up on the way back to the airport - he was great! We will 100% be back to stay next time we go to Corralejo!
