The H10 Ocean Dunas hotel is located 50 metres from Corralejo's beach, in the north of Fuerteventura. This attractive fishing village has succeeded in combining its seafaring tradition with quality tourism development. The island and its marine habitat were declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2009. The area's numerous attractions include the Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park, with its impressive dunes, beautiful beaches of fine sand and crystal clear water that is ideal for diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing and other water sports.

What a great week we have just spent at your hotel. From check in to check out everything was perfectthe hotel was spotless and so well organised. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I have read complaints about air conditioning but I did not experience this at all .it was very efficient and use was not restricted like many other hotels.
I can totally understand why people go back year after year.

Comfortable, relaxing, quiet - a week in H10 Ocean Dunas

Firstly, the hotel is in a great location. Its within walking distance of everything youd need in Corralejo, with the harbour, restaurants, supermarkets and bars all nearby.
The hotel is very well maintained. Its clean, well looked after and any issues were remedied very quickly by the very helpful and friendly reception team - the warmest of welcomes from Alessandro upon arrival, and every time we entered the hotel. Thats true of everyone who worked on reception throughout the week I was there.
I was impressed by the cleanliness standards throughout the hotel - the restaurant, pool area, corridors, communal areas, everywhere is as youd expect in a premium H10 hotel.
My room was very comfortable, spacious and bright. The terrace had a table and chairs on it, plus two sun beds, so I didnt actually use the pool area at all.
The bed was large and very comfy, and the pillows were great too. The room had black out curtains & was dark, so I had 7 great nights of sleep.
Theres tea & coffee making facilities including a Nespresso machine.
The shower had a tendency to leak over the bathroom floor, so make sure you put a towel down before you turn it on.
However, I have one main issue with the room - theres not enough storage space.
The wardrobe was wide enough to take my wifes dresses and my shirts hung up, but theres nowhere in the room to put everything else away. Theres no drawers other than the bedside table ones and theyre tiny.
Theres lots of dead space in the room that could fit a decent size chest of drawers - theres a large wasted space under the TV (Ive added a photo) where a chest of drawers could go. We ended up storing underwear etc in bags under the bedside table - not great - and a simple fix for the hotel to make. One wardrobe is not enough space to store everything you take to wear on holiday.
The food at the restaurant was excellent both at breakfast time and dinner.
Breakfast is a buffet, dinner is la carte.
The food at dinner is freshly cooked for you from the la carte menu.
Theres a small buffet for starters and desserts, but I liked that what I chose for dinner was prepared especially for me and arrived piping hot & delicious.
I also liked that you are offered a glass of Cava every evening with your dinner - theres an extensive drinks menu available to accompany your dinner too.
The team that worked in the restaurant werent always as friendly as the reception team. Sometimes theyd say hello, sometimes not. Im super friendly & I always made the effort to say hello but it wasnt always reciprocated which is disappointing as theyre the people wed had the most exposure to during our stay, and are the main ambassadors for the hotel. When they spoke, they were lovely, but there wasnt any consistency so we never really knew where we stood with the restaurant team.
As checkout is at midday and my pick up wasnt until 4pm, I arranged to use the hotels courtesy room before my pick up - as with other areas of the hotel, it was clean, tidy and well looked after and is a great benefit to guests who have checked out and have several hours to kill in the heat before being collected for the airport.
Id recommend this hotel - its in a great location, its very quiet, a good place to book if you just want to relax. Its comfortable and clean, and youll eat well there.
Theres just a few improvements needed and thats why I havent rated it as highly as I might have.

We be just returned from our first visit to this hotel, and I can honestly say well be going back next year. From start to finish it was fantastic. The staff could not do enough for you and were so friendly. We had a junior suite (room 254) which was just perfect, plenty of room and the walk in shower you could not fault. The bed was a super king and so comfortable. We were booked in for bed and breakfast. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and I didnt have any issues with any of the food. There is plenty of entertainment
close by and there was no problem with noise. All in all I loved it.

Beautiful hotel fantastic staff from reception to breakfast staff to cleaning staff to bar staff amazing and very helpful and very friendly. I couldn't recommend this hotel more and we will be returning. A little dear but I suppose you pay for what you get
