H10 Ocean Dunas, Fuerteventura

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, on a Jet 2 holiday. This adult only hotel is quite small and very peaceful. Check in can be a lengthy process however a glass of Cava helped pass the time. We had booked a junior suite however on arriving at our room, it was obviously not the correct room. Allessandro brought our luggage to the room and after a bit of confusion, we were taken to a junior suite. It was exactly the same as photos on line. Very spacious with a large balcony, overlooking the pool. The balcony had table and chairs and sun beds. The room had a seating area and lots of space. The toilet was large with a double shower. Unfortunately, the sealing around the door had perished and when showering, water would leak out. The shower cubicle was in need of a really good clean as there were lots of brown stains on the grout. This resulted in a bit of a smelly loo at times. The restaurant was really nice. Tables were well spread out, meaning you werent listening in to other peoples conversations. We were half board and the food was really nice. Main courses A La Carte, starters and desserts self service. The buffets were all very fresh and refreshed frequently. The main meals were not fine dining but very tasty. There was a water station where you could top up you bottles. The pool area was well kept with lots of loungers. I was a bit surprised however to see people reserving loungers from 7.30am and then not using them until at least 3hours later. All staff, without exception were friendly and professional. All in all, a very nice hotel.

Just arrived home from our third holiday to the Ocean Dunas. At check-in with the lovely girl with the long blonde hair, sorry didn't catch her name, we were told we were getting upgraded from a superior room to a suite, thank you for that. The suite had the same layout as superior rooms, a bit bigger, with a sofa, same comfy bed and good shower, very clean and overlooking the pool. There were plenty of sunbeds at the pool although the ones which are in the sun all day get reserved early. The poolside might be too quiet for some people but we like the relaxed atmosphere, great to chill and read a book. The food was delicious again and beautifully presented. All the staff in the restaurant are friendly and work very hard. If the fried eggs run out at breakfast, be patient more will be brought out. I noticed some comments about the hotel not having entertainment. I don't think this is necessary given its location. There is something to suit everyone in Corralejo. We went to El Cotillo on the bus which took about 45 minutes. It is a nice wee town with a gorgeous beach. Thank you for another lovely holiday. Hopefully be back next year!

Here at the moment in room 231 which is a junior suite overlooking the pool. There are 3 H10 hotels in the area and we have checked out the other 2 and have to say we much prefer Ocean Dunas which is smaller and more intimate and much to our liking. We are here on a half board basis and we love the a la carte menu with a special every night and the fact you can swap dinner for lunch if you want to take advantage of the many restaurants just a very short stroll from the hotel. The hotel seems to be a little older than the other H10 hotels here but it is beautifully maintained by the wonderful staff. We just have to mention William, Deseree, Consuella, Davide and Sara on reception. They have all made our stay very enjoyable. We will be sad to leave on Sunday but there's always next year!

We be just returned from our first visit to this hotel, and I can honestly say well be going back next year. From start to finish it was fantastic. The staff could not do enough for you and were so friendly. We had a junior suite (room 254) which was just perfect, plenty of room and the walk in shower you could not fault. The bed was a super king and so comfortable. We were booked in for bed and breakfast. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and I didnt have any issues with any of the food. There is plenty of entertainment close by and there was no problem with noise. All in all I loved it.
