H10 Ocean Dunas, Fuerteventura

I have finally got round to writing a review for this fabulous hotel. My sister and I stayed for 2 glorious weeks at the end of May to beginning of June 2025. First impressions were very pleasing. We were greeted by Jonathan on Reception. He made us feel very welcome and took all our luggage to our rooms for us. We found the hotel very attractive and it had a lovely clean smell to the place. Our rooms were excellent. They were spacious and well furnished with adequate storage and the beds were huge. The big bathrooms were fabulous . Our rooms were very clean with a continuous supply of clean towels and bedding. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and the Restaurant Manager, William, brought something special to the dining experience. The staff weren't very attentive and always extremely pleasant. Laurence was always helpful and Davide, Caroline, Marina and Arianna to name but a few were absolutely smashing. The presentation of the food was exceptional and the food was delicious with plenty of choice. The Sun Terrance was a pleasant place for drinks and cocktails and the pool area was great with plenty sunbeds. The hotel is small and very quite which was perfect for our needs. So much so that we have already book for 2026. Can't wait.

We stayed for 9 nights in a junior suite overlooking the pool. On arrival late on Friday night, check in was efficient and we were told that they had left us something in the room as we had missed dinner (we booked half board). There were a couple of plates of food waiting for us - such a nice thought. The room was a good size and was on the second level of the two floor hotel. The balconies of these rooms all overlook the pool and the one we had this time gets the sun in the morning but is shady in the afternoon - perfect for us. Breakfast is a buffet and has a good selection of fruit, cold meats, pastries and hot dishes. There are three coffee machines and there are tea bags including chamomile available. The cups are quite small so if you like a morning mug of coffee as I do, bring your own mug! We didn't try lunch this time, but we did have a meal in the restaurant on three nights. The restaurant is a buffet starter and dessert but a choice of main course from a menu is served to your table. The wine list is reasonably priced and has a few local wines - alas on this occasion, my preferred white was not available for the whole stay, disappointing as there was a bottle on display but obviously none in the chiller. It should be noted that this is an adults only hotel, but if you are expecting a party atmosphere, this is not the place for you. There is no entertainment etc and it has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, suited to people who like it that way (such as us). We will return (hopefully the Oro Blanco will be in stock next time :) )

Our second visit to this hotel....with another planned for 2026. An oasis in the town, perfect ambience, food and atmosphere. Our late arrival ( too late for dinner) was greeted with a platter of meats and cheeses in our room. Always a warm welcome.

Amazing Stay Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the good restaurant and great location Everything was well organized, and I felt very welcome throughout my stay. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
