H10 Urquinaona Plaza, Barcelona

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Urquinaona Plaza Hotel. Everyone is really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Reception team are so kind and helpful always a warm and welcoming smile; it was very hot weather when we were there and every time we returned to the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome and offered a drink to cool down and refresh. The Restaurant Team in the Breakfast Room and on the Terrace work really hard to provide a lovely selection of food and drinks; always smiling, friendly, kind and good fun. The breakfast selection was amazing and there is something for everyone: pancakes, waffles, churros, hot sausage, egg, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, cheeses, cold meats, nut or oat milk, juices, cakes & pastries, little sweets (Im sure these were meant for little children but they were a fun treat) Ive probably missed something as the selection was amazing and varied. We really enjoyed the Terrace, it has 5 sun beds and four deck chairs, two large parasols, a plunge pool, plus there are some tables and chairs (about 10 sets I think) these are fully shaded. Lots of lovely fresh white towels to use. We found the terrace was always in full use and always somewhere to sit and relax. The bar provides a range of drinks and light lunches which are all delicious and very reasonably price. Again, the staff are lovely and work really hard at making sure everyone is looked after; it cant be easy working on the Terrace in the heat and everyone does an amazing job. Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. We had a room with a balcony and we absolutely loved it. The coffee machine is wonderful and replenished everyday. We stayed at the hotel for a week and we loved every day. it is centrally located so easy to get to all of the City attractions and activities. Each time we went out we really looked forward to returning to the hotel for a welcoming return and to relax and chill. Thank you to the whole team at H10 Hotel Urquinaona. Just returned from a trip to Barcelona having stayed at this wonderful hotel. I had read the reviews before booking, but was still a little anxious if it would live up to my expectation and it did. Lovely hotel, staff, location, facilities and especially fully air conditioned rooms, which was so vital as it was very, very hot in Barcelona. The location of this hotel was particularly perfect, 30 mins from La Sagrada Familia, located next to some lovely cafes, bars. Las Ramblas was a 10 minute walk away, absolutely perfect hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor and from our balcony you could see the roof of La Sagrada Familia. The service as the hotel was brilliant and we are looking forward to returning to Barcelona and staying t the H10 Urquinaona Plaza again. We have noted that they have other hotels in Europe, so will endeavour to check those out too.

Great Hotel in a great location for exploring Barcelona, nice little plunge pool on the roof as well. Rooms a little on the small side, but decent size balcony. Nice garden area to enjoy a drink before heading out. Really nice Breakfast with plenty of options.

This hotel was excellent - the staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was lovely, great air conditioning, comfy bed and nice bathroom which included toiletries, robes and slippers. There was also a coffee making machine and fridge stocked for our use ( charges for the mini bar) Bottled water was supplied free of charge every day. In addition there was a safe in the room. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice of cold and hot foods, everything you could think of - including a glass of fizz on our anniversary! The rooftop bar was a very nice addition at the end of a hot day sight seeing. The plunge pool was very refreshing although the pigeons did put us off - health risk - they were drinking from the pool and therefore the chances are they were also leaving deposits! The hotel was in an excellent position, close to the main sight seeing attractions. All in all an excellent stay
