Very helpful reception staff. We arrived a bit early and our rooms were ready. Gave us some great ideas of restaurants in the area. Our rooms were stunning, clean and well presented. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Loved the ceiling fans in the room. The terrace served drinks with lovely views across the city. Great location and would stay again

I stayed at H10 Universitat Hotel for 6 nights during a solo trip to Barcelona this month and had a fabulous experience. The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya, and also very close to a couple of stations on the metro. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, and welcoming. A couple of days into my stay, it was my birthday, and to my surprise, a hotel staff member came to my door with a birthday card and a chilled bottle of cava. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made me feel appreciated, especially as a solo traveller. My room was a classic room on the 7th floor and had everything that I needed. It had a king size bed. I also had breakfast included in my booking, and it was excellent. There was a wide variety of options each morning, such as fruit, bread, eggs, cheeses, yoghurts, juices and coffee. The dining area was not busy in the morning at around 7am, and it was a nice way to start each day. The rooftop terrace was another positive. I visited on the day I arrived and again later in the week. It had great views over the city. The hotel's location made it easy to explore the attractions nearby. This was important to me as I walked to Barceloneta Beach, Port Vell and visited attractions like Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Barcelona Aquarium, and Barcelona Zoo early in the mornings when they first opened, which is better to avoid crowds. I visited La Pedrera Casa Mila later in the evening and it was not busy at that time either. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient and I would definitely recommend this hotel on that basis.

This hotel is excellent- ideally located and very competively priced. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. The rooms are meticulously cleaned every day, with complimentary water provided. The breakfast is first class - fresh and varied. A highly recommended hotel.

Every time I come to Barcelona I stay at the H10 Ronda Universitat. Competent and helpful staff. The rooms are excellent, the breakfast is composed of wide variety of Mediterranean and foreign food. I always stay at the room facing the street but the double glassing makes the room cosy and silent. I will be back.
