H10 Universitat, Barcelona

We stayed here for about 2 weeks in June. This is one of the nicest hotels weve ever stayed in. The room was spotless, recently refurbished, beautiful bathroom, really comfortable bed. We had a room facing a very busy street, but when the windows were closed, we couldnt hear a thing, and it was fun watching the city streets! Breakfast was wonderful: lots of choices: eggs, breads, sides, cheeses, cereals, fruit, juice and great coffee: great way to start the day! The staff was outstanding: everyone was helpful and always pleasant, remembering our names and requests, nice recommendations. They sent Cava and strawberries for our Anniversary! The rooftop terrace was pleasant with lovely views of the city, relaxing after walking all day. The location was amazing: close to attractions, but not too close! Well be back!

Jr Suite room is perfect for a family of 3. 1 king bed and Queen size sofa bed. I particularly love the double shower, though we were not able to use both showers at the same time. but for others it would save so much time instead of waiting for one to finish. The rain shower is also a plus in addition to the regular shower. The bathroom is huge, double sink, and toilet has separate glass door, love love. Location is also very good, very close to shopping and bars/restaurants, trains, bus stops. The receptionists/security are friendly. Highly recommend this hotel for first time visitors of Barcelona.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of the city, fantastic location. We stayed 3 nights in July. We were greeted with a glass of much needed bubbly, water or juice! What a lovely welcome and a seamless check in. The check in staff were all outstanding especially mentioning, Noellia, Danielle and the lovely Welsh girl with perfect Spanish. So friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Hotel itself probably needs a wee bit of do over maybe just looks a little jaded in the hallways, however the room was lovely, immaculate and bed super comfy. I would ask for a room with balcony next time. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and fresh, tasty food. The staff in there were also wonderful, mentioning Saro and Roberto, but they were all great. We were annoyed we didnt try the rooftop bar until our last night, as it was a lovely wee haven with what looked like tasty snacks and lovely drinks and had a fabulous view of the city. We were sooty wed already had dinner. The girl serving was so lovely sorry I didnt catch her name. All in all I highly recommend this Hotel, it is right beside La Rambla and is surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we get the opportunity to return to Barcelona. Thank you to all the staff and the chef for a wonderful stay. One wee hint I would have loved to been able to make English tea in room but that doesnt take anything away from our great experience there.

This hotel is just fabulous. In terms of location its absolutely fab located in the city center , which all the main sites are within walkable distance and there is a metro right across the road . The rooms were good and well furnished, with amazing water pressure in the shower . The breakfast was rich and delicious and had a variety of dishes . The top notch of it all was the roof bar with amazing views of the city and great cocktails. The service was outstandingly friendly and helpful and very attentive. I came with my parents and they felt very comfortable asking questions and got answers and aid from every staff member. Thank you for an awesome stay
