H10 Montcada, Barcelona

Located in gothic quarter and a short stroll to the cathedral. Plus an easy walk to the marina, La pedrera, the Picasso museum etc. for slightly further afield (park guell for example) so easy to hop on the metro, Hotel lobby welcoming as were the staff, breakfast area well laid out and despite being in the basement very light and airy. Breakfast staff lovely and friendly plus breakfast buffet good. Wonderful rooftop terrace bar with stunning views. Room clean, well equipped, beds comfy and had everything youd need (yes only a coffee machine but if you wanted a kettle too it says just ask, we didnt bother). Bathroom products good quality and decent body lotion. Roadworks in street had no impact on quietness of hotel lobby, we had a room at the back with a view out to the seafront. Only tiny negative was if youre on the 8th floor you do hear folks going up stairs to the terrace bar on 9th floor and also bar staff rearranging tables etc when it closes at midnight. But only a minor downside because in return you got no street noise. Would not hesitate to recommend using this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel before boarding our cruise ship. The location is central to many must see sights, great breakfast, wonderful staff and comfortable room. The construction outside the front door which runs down the entire street has zero effect on our visit or sleep. The roof top bar was beautiful and we would return here anytime. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our first visit to Barcelona a memorable one.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice room. Quaint roof top bar. Centrally located with easy access to many narrow pedestrian allys lined with interesting shops and restaurants. Most importantly, the friendliest and most accommodating staff you will find in any hotel!

This hotel is brilliantly located in the gothic quarter and beautiful with views overlooking the cathedral. They also have a fantastic terrace bar with great smoothies and snacks. The very best bit about the hotel though is the absolutely wonderful staff who were so kind to us. If we are in Barcelona again we will definitely stay here.
