H10 Itaca, Barcelona

Chose this hotel due to the reputation of the group and the location near the main train station. Very clean and friendly. We had a deluxe room on 5th floor which was fine for 3 nights - only needed to sleep and shower in between sightseeing. Fairly basic but good aircon which was very welcome in nearly 30 deg heat and humid. Didnt have breakfast as we ate out on our way to see the sights. Shared a pizza in the restaurant one evening as we had lunch out and this was excellent. Slightly shocked at 12.50 Euro gin and tonic! Should have read the menu before ordering. We joined the H10 club on booking which meant we had a welcome drink voucher each so did have a free glass of wine each! Bathroom had a couple of minor issues which needed repair and were reported to reception on departure . Would stay again as good location for the metro and walking distance to plaza España and Catalunya.

Lovely clean hotel in a great position for Sants station. We booked with Jet2 and didnt think we would need to upgrade to a larger room for more storage, we came for 8 nights so have more luggage . Our room is the basic offer and we would have upgraded if we knew. However, the bed is comfy, bathroom cleaned daily and luxury toiletries ! The breakfast is a good selection , usual buffet style offer. The staff are very helpful, pool area small and the plunge pool isnt deep at all as you would imagine. It would be perfect for children learning to swim . The local birds seem to love taking a drink or a quick dip here

Stayed here as part of a Jet2 holiday package. We chose this hotel for its location - 5 mins walk from the main train station so very cheap & easy to get to from the airport (5). Hop on hop off bus stop is behind this station too. It was also near to the Taragonna Metro station so could get into the city centre quickly. We got a Deluxe room at the back (overlooking pool). Comfy big bed, v clean and reasonably quiet. Breakfast was included- good selection. Terrace food okay. Cocktails & beer by the plunge pool in the evening were v good. Would stay here again!

I stayed in a suite with a pool view for 1 night. Reception staff were very friendly and provided all the information I needed. The best service I have received when checking into a H10 hotel. As an H10 member I was given a voucher for a free cocktail. On arriving at my room, I was amazed at how nice it was. The living area, lots of wardrobe space, coffee machine, complimentary bottle of water, TV in the living area and bedroom and the biggest hotel bathroom I have seen with both a separate bath and shower. I loved it. I got changed after a long day travelling and went down to sit by the pool, which was very refreshing. I later went to the bar to redeem my free cocktail to be told of the limited selection. Whilst I appreciate that this is complimentary I was a bit disappointed with the choice. The bar man however was very good and provided great service. I was attending the Champions League womens semi final match and after checking out I left my luggage to collect later. I returned to the hotel and again the staff were all very friendly a nd professional. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel and was disappointed not to be staying longer.
