Location
The H10 Tenerife Playa is in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of Tenerife, one of the island's most important tourist centres. Located on the coast, Puerto de la Cruz is surrounded by nature and is home to some of Tenerife's main attractions, including Lake Martiánez, a series of pools designed by Canary architect César Manrique, and Loro Parque. Just 3 km away is Playa Jardín, a spectacular beach of black volcanic sand. Near Puerto de la Cruz we find such attractive locations as the Villa de la Orotava, Icod de los Vinos and the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The old port houses a seventeenth-century customs house and the Santa Bárbara battery, an eighteenth-century fortification. A visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Orchid Garden is a must.

Rooms nice , selection of pillows , beds comfortable , room cleaned each day
Breakfast and lunch are ok
Waiter service for dinks in the evening nice touch, although sometime you do have to wait for 20 + mins, ( order a few drinks at a time)
Entertainment was also very good, can get very busy so get there early if you want to sit near the front
the two restaurant we eat in where amazing - i have left reviews for this as well, so have a look

Evening meal for 4 star hotel is not good enough , it's very poor , where we have eaten out 2 nights out of 4 and will probably eat out again before we leave on Thursday.
no music around the poolside during the day (only during Wateraerobics) was right there

The hotel is at one end of the seaside pedestrianised promenade in Puerto de la Cruz.
As such, it offers a prime location to explore the town and the seafront amenities.
It is a very clean, spacious property with good 4* facilities. The pool area is particularly pleasant.
Our only concern was the food quality, which we did not consider matched the 4* rating. We were on half board, but you get the same food as those on an all-inclusive tariff, which was pared down to an obviously low cost. Many guests ate there, so maybe they were happy with what was offered for the price they paid.
So the choice for us if we go again would be whether to go bed and breakfast, or half board, and opt for lunch rather than dinner. That way you can eat away from the hotel at one of the many cafes, bars, and restaurants, which offer good food at reasonable prices. There is an A la Carte restaurant which is for "Privilege" guests, which was very good.
Another issue for us was that there were no price lists in the bar area. For all-inclusive guests, that probably doesn't matter, but for us, it was so annoying that we never drank there.

Fantastic 4star hotel. Sea front location. Great attentive staff. Perfect for walks along the promenade. Lovely mature gardens around the pool.

Great cocktails, staff were amazing and a special shout out to Raul and Jonas.
Great selection at the buffet. Everyone is super friendly. Would definitely recommend!!
I came for my birthday and was serenaded and had a birthday cake slice provided - a great team!!!!
