Location
The H10 Tenerife Playa is in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of Tenerife, one of the island's most important tourist centres. Located on the coast, Puerto de la Cruz is surrounded by nature and is home to some of Tenerife's main attractions, including Lake Martiánez, a series of pools designed by Canary architect César Manrique, and Loro Parque. Just 3 km away is Playa Jardín, a spectacular beach of black volcanic sand. Near Puerto de la Cruz we find such attractive locations as the Villa de la Orotava, Icod de los Vinos and the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The old port houses a seventeenth-century customs house and the Santa Bárbara battery, an eighteenth-century fortification. A visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Orchid Garden is a must.

Another excellent 2 week stay in this welcoming well-run hotel, superbly placed on the pedestrianised promenade, with a beach on the doorstep. The staff are as good as the location, from receptionists to room maids. We made good use of the excellent animation team who ensured a fun time. This hotel and resort are so relaxing. Some rooms are a bit small, but more than adequate. Who goes on holiday to stay in the room? The two pools, one heated, and the ample sunbathing terraces set in a superb mature garden are a delight.
I can't agree with the negative remarks of some previous reviewers. The restaurant offered a wide choice which changed each day. I never encountered underheated hot food and everything was clearly labelled, sometimes with amusing translations. Once at breakfast we had to queue for 10 minutes due to a sudden surge, but the other 27 times we walked straight in. The restaurant staff are obviously hard pressed at times but stay friendly and helpful.
This hotel offers excellent value for money and is so conveniently positioned for you to enjoy a traditional Spanish resort with a lot of charm and a very safe atmosphere. The resort doesn't go out of its way to cater for UK guests, or those from any other country. If you want continuous noise and bustling activity you would be better off staying in the south of the island where you will find fish and chips, English bars, karaoke, happy hours etc.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff

We stayed at this hotel for five nights, on our late arrival they was a cold buffet waiting for us which was unexpected and very lovely. The staff were very friendly, helpful and went the extra mile with us. Especially with our son who is autistic and has high needs to meet they couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is situated by the sea has some spectacular views and if you want the shops not far to walk to. The arrival was very welcoming and throughout the whole holiday we felt welcomed and valued, this means so much as this makes our stay so much calmer more enjoyable.
Entertainment every night so we didn't have to look elsewhere. The food was really lovely and different varieties to choose from. The rooms are clean and tidy and we had house keeping everyday. To sum up our stay was really enjoyable and we would come back again Thank you everyone X

I came for my birthday and was serenaded and had a birthday cake slice provided - a great team!!!!
