An enjoyable stay at the H10 Tenerife Playa, Puerto de la Cruz

Just returned from an enjoyable week at the H10 Tenerife Playa, our first visit to PDLC, which we found delightful. If you are looking for authentic Canarian atmosphere, traditional architecture, a bustling town, and an interesting variety of cultural sights and restaurants, look no further! The hotel was super clean, with friendly staff and generally good facilities. Positives: Great location Comfortable bed Pretty pool area Helpful staff Negatives: Dark shower in bathroom (921) One lift not working Queues for the dining room One or two dining room staff less than courteous at times - we were shouted at for following instructions to use the privilege area when the main dining room was full. We spoke with several older guests travelling alone, who praised the staff for their caring attitudes. One lady had returned yearly for 25 years! A big thank you to the night-time receptionist yesterday who helped us deal with a minor medical emergency, and remembered to ask after me later. I can happily recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in this lovely town.

My daughter and I spent a week here, nice room overlooking the seafront, the staff are very friendly and helpful, we liked the location and there was always room to sit by the pools one of which was heated, we would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.

Better privilege service this time round.

A Fantastic Return Stay With a Few Laughs Along the Way Weve just returned from another wonderful stay, and Im pleased to report the hotel has levelled up in all the right ways. From the moment we arrived, the reception lady gave us a warm welcome no cava this time, or luggage taken ( it was a late arrival) but we managed to soldier on bravely. A special shoutout to Janus and all the bar staff both in bar Tenerife and the pool bar who were consistently excellent. Friendly, efficient, and somehow able to remember our drink order even when we couldnt. They really are a credit to the hotel. We stayed on the Privilege All Inclusive basis, and it was absolutely worth the upgrade. Our refurbished seaview room was spotless, tidy, and came with a surprisingly decent pod coffee machine the kind that makes you feel like a barista even though youre still half asleep. Daily water, a minimally stocked bar on arrival, and the upgraded drinks menu were all welcome perks. The private dining area was a lovely touch, and having the option of lunch and dinner served at the pool bar as well as the buffet made the whole experience feel that bit more relaxed and exclusive. The improvements since our last visit are huge the lobby and pool bar look fantastic now, modern and stylish without losing that holiday charm. And the location remains perfect, especially if you enjoy wandering, peoplewatching, or simply pretending you live there permanently. A highlight of the trip was the Christmas Gala Dinner: six courses that were so close to Michelinworthy we were tempted to start clapping between courses. Our waitress Clara? was outstanding attentive, warm, and genuinely lovely throughout the evening and at breakfast. All in all, a brilliant stay with truly excellent, wonderfully friendly staff who made us feel right at home, great food with lots of choice, and fantastic upgrades . Well definitely be back cava or no cava.

Great cocktails, staff were amazing and a special shout out to Raul and Jonas. Great selection at the buffet. Everyone is super friendly. Would definitely recommend!! I came for my birthday and was serenaded and had a birthday cake slice provided - a great team!!!!
