Location
The H10 Tenerife Playa is in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of Tenerife, one of the island's most important tourist centres. Located on the coast, Puerto de la Cruz is surrounded by nature and is home to some of Tenerife's main attractions, including Lake Martiánez, a series of pools designed by Canary architect César Manrique, and Loro Parque. Just 3 km away is Playa Jardín, a spectacular beach of black volcanic sand. Near Puerto de la Cruz we find such attractive locations as the Villa de la Orotava, Icod de los Vinos and the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The old port houses a seventeenth-century customs house and the Santa Bárbara battery, an eighteenth-century fortification. A visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Orchid Garden is a must.

Stayed here in February 26. To be honest I cannot fault it. Its extremely good value for money. The rooms are spotless and are cleaned daily the staff are friendly and welcoming. They speak English to a good standard so can always help.
The food is a high standard. Weve had some delicious meals in the hotel. Theres a wide choice of foods and everything is hot and well presented.
The bar areas are clean and staff do waiter service. Theres a nightly entertainment of shows.
The pool areas are quiet and calm. There is something of an entertainment programme for the pool lovers and that in itself is good. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. If I had to make a small criticism I would say to avoid the restaurant at peak times. Its a tad busy. However, thats most hotels. Id highly recommend this place.

Brilliantly positioned hotel on a flat,shop lined promenade directly opposite playa martinez.
You can watch the surfers whilst enjoying lovely meals and interacting with the staff,all of which are welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure that you have the best stay possible.
There are two large pools, one of which is heated ,which we were able to use daily in January. Wonderful animation team ,that never pressure and keep you entertained thoughtout the day ,alongside night-time shows.
I wouldn't hesitate to return, in fact we have already booked our next visit !!

Just returned from an enjoyable week at the H10 Tenerife Playa, our first visit to PDLC, which we found delightful. If you are looking for authentic Canarian atmosphere, traditional architecture, a bustling town, and an interesting variety of cultural sights and restaurants, look no further!
The hotel was super clean, with friendly staff and generally good facilities.
Positives:
Great location
Comfortable bed
Pretty pool area
Helpful staff
Negatives:
Dark shower in bathroom (921)
One lift not working
Queues for the dining room
One or two dining room staff less than courteous at times - we were shouted at for following instructions to use the privilege area when the main dining room was full.
We spoke with several older guests travelling alone, who praised the staff for their caring attitudes. One lady had returned yearly for 25 years!
A big thank you to the night-time receptionist yesterday who helped us deal with a minor medical emergency, and remembered to ask after me later.
I can happily recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in this lovely town.

My daughter and I spent a week here, nice room overlooking the seafront, the staff are very friendly and helpful, we liked the location and there was always room to sit by the pools one of which was heated, we would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.
