Location
The H10 Tenerife Playa is in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of Tenerife, one of the island's most important tourist centres. Located on the coast, Puerto de la Cruz is surrounded by nature and is home to some of Tenerife's main attractions, including Lake Martiánez, a series of pools designed by Canary architect César Manrique, and Loro Parque. Just 3 km away is Playa Jardín, a spectacular beach of black volcanic sand. Near Puerto de la Cruz we find such attractive locations as the Villa de la Orotava, Icod de los Vinos and the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The old port houses a seventeenth-century customs house and the Santa Bárbara battery, an eighteenth-century fortification. A visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Orchid Garden is a must.

Great selection at the buffet. Everyone is super friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

We stayed here for 10nights, we upgraded our room from the ground floor to the eighth floor over looking the sea & the mountains to our right.
The food was excellent with lots of varieties for breakfast to many to mention.
The two pools were good.
Cafe de Paris a five minute walk from the hotel put on a show every Thursday evening.
Tickets cost around €50 -€60 each highly recommended.
The only issue we had was two cockroaches in the quiet room & one in our room on the day of departure.
The hotel call them Tenerife butterflies.
If I was to rate the hotel & holiday it would be 10/10.

Not quite sure what the people leaving negative reviews expected - we found the hotel perfectly OK for the price. Yes there were queues for the restaurant at busy times but these were always dealt with speedily and efficiently. Breakfast was always the same but offered a good choice and included smoothies. Dinner (don't bother to dress up!) offered a good choice and varied from night to night. The house wines were very reasonably priced, as were all the drinks compared to the UK. The entertainment was ok and stopped at 11pm by which time everything was quiet. It was always possible to get a lounger near the pool. The room was clean and comfortable enough if a bit on the small side. No freebies and very limited TV channels in English.
Unbeatable location. All the staff seemed helpful and friendly.
