H10 Gran Tinerfe, Tenerife

Perfect adults only all inclusive in a great location

My husband & I have just returned from a 5-night stay at the H10 Gran Tinerfe and we had the absolute best time. It was our second time at this hotel and it didnt disappoint. We are in our 30s and we felt the hotel offers a perfect balance of chill / relaxed vibes but also entertainment and access to nightlife when we want it. The hotel is in a great location, lots of bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep and it backs directly onto a sandy beach so there is everything you need within easy walking distance if you want to explore outside the hotel. Upon arrival at around 1pm we were greeted at reception and given a complimentary glass of cava whilst we completed the check in process. We were advised our room would be ready at 3pm but in the meantime we got our wristbands so we could start using the facilities. We left our bags with security, and went to grab some lunch from the buffet restaurant. Our room actually ended up being ready an hour earlier which was great as we couldnt wait to freshen up after our flight and hit the pool. We stayed in a standard double room with balcony (302). The room was clean, spacious and lovely and cool from the aircon. There were complimentary snacks and drinks in the minibar fridge which was a nice touch. We only had one minor issue where our shower wasnt draining and ended up flooding the bathroom floor but this was quickly sorted as soon as we reported it to reception and it worked fine ever since. We spent most of our time at the pool area which was great. We never struggled to find a sunbed and the service at the pool bar was quick and friendly. If youre pale like me and need shade Id highly recommend trying to grab one of the padded double beds at the pool thats next to the gym - these were fully covered so I didnt get burnt lying out in the sun! Whilst we were there we did aqua gym and the pool / foam party which was so much fun. The only restaurant we used at the hotel was the main buffet restaurant as we just went out to eat when we fancied something different. The buffet had a good selection for breakfast, lunch & dinner, it is pretty standard all-inclusive buffet food but even as a vegetarian I managed to find something I liked at every meal. The sunset chill out bar is the perfect spot for after dinner cocktails and to watch the sunset before heading out to the local bars or down to the entertainment bar if staying in the hotel that night. Overall, I think the H10 Gran Tinerfe is a great choice if you want an easy, relaxed adults only all-inclusive holiday with everything you need either at the hotel or a short walk away. The location also means you can make the holidays as chilled or as energetic as you like. The staff are all great and work tirelessly to keep guests happy. Their hard work and positivity has not gone unnoticed! We will definitely be back to the H10

Great holiday

Great location Great hotel Food is average unfortunately stayed before couple years ago feel like standard has dropped the food very salty and high in sodium can tell by the texture & taste of food, not bad but wouldnt go all inclusive much better places to eat out. Entertainment at night is absolutely fantastic with the shows standard has been kept and very enjoyable,however the Entertainment team during day was poor normally really good but I believe the main entertainment team manager Danny wasnt there/ on holiday the others didnt keep the standard up. Room very clean everyday nice and spacious also no issues The area bar areas at the front/ terrace very good round the building with stunning views and in a very well located area! Would come back again :)

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The half-board food was very good, with plenty of choice, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Were in our late 20s and thought the atmosphere was great, particularly around the pools, with good music playing during the day. We also loved having three different pools and a variety of bars around the hotel, which gave plenty of choice. The outdoor seating area was beautiful, with lovely sea views and amazing sunsets in the evening. Our main criticism was our first room. It looked tired, the air conditioning was practically non-existent, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We requested to move rooms and, to the hotels credit, they were very helpful and moved us to another room and provided us with two new mattresses, which made a big difference. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms could benefit from being refreshed, but the food, atmosphere, facilities and friendly staff made for a great holiday. We would happily recommend the hotel.

Love this Hotel

This was our 3rd consecutive visit to this hotel and as per previous stays we had a brilliant time! All the staff were very friendly and helpful and as I am a vegetarian they made an extra effort this year to make sure there was a wide variety of food in all of the restaurants. The Entertainment and the team were both fantastic especially the theme nights. The location is great. Short walk to America's and short walk to Siam Park and Mall. Branded drinks which is always nice. Italian Restaurant makes a lovely date night. We went privilege which gives you access to a private lounge bar and sun terrace with guaranteed sun beds and access the Brasserie a la carte restaurant including specials night. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem if given prior notice for any specific requests. Customer service team always attentive making sure our stay was perfect. We shall be back next year and can't wait!
