H10 Costa Adeje Palace, Tenerife

Three week break

This is our fifth year at this hotel, we did have reservations about coming back this year due to the menu at the Tosca restaurant as after three weeks with the same choice it became difficult to choose,and the food lacked flavour, not so this year the new menu is a revelation and not sure whether there are new chefs but the food is of a high standard, the staff at Tosca are amazing and treat us like family,thank you.Not sure about the live music though as after five years listening to over the rainbow and other outdated songs perhaps a couple of new songs wouldn't go amiss. As for the main shows isn't it time to keep the lid in Elvis s coffin and let him rest, same goes for Elton John to retire with dignity. There are so many good songs and artists out there today, so come on H10 use your imagination, and don't say your catering for the older clientele because I am 83 but not a Dinasour, otherwise having an absolute blast of a time. Would just like to take issue with previous reviews about tired and dirty rooms.abd corridors, one must appreciate that maintenance in hotels is a 24/7 ongoing job and we are seeing in some corridors the relaying of new carpes,our room is immaculate and spacious and has a balcony overlooking the hotel next door but it is Quiet and with sun until four thirty pm on the seventh floor so our room is always warm. Looking forward to the next eleven days.

Nice few small issues location very quiet

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Plus Very large hotel multiple pools and sunbeds and the infinity pool was heated Breakfast and lunch plenty of choice - we swapped evening meal for lunch daily Family Room with sea view was lovely plenty of space Piano Bar was a nice relaxed touch Daily Courtesy bus to Las Americas Animation team with daily events Rooftop bar Gym and indoor pool Cons Location very quiet but a short taxi ride takes you to pubs bars a longer taxi takes you to Las Americas Pillows on bed adequate not great Safe 3 euros a day who charges that in this day and age Tea / Coffee / water / slippers / bathrobe all missing from your room Beach not pretty or usable would be great if the hotel took it over and made it a feature Overall we really enjoyed it we didnt go privelage and dont feel we missed anything worth the cost of it Will be back next year as long as prices dont go up its nice but not unique

The staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely settings and surroundings to explore! Amazing excursions on offer, we went to Siam park for the first time and loved it!! The cleaning staff were also amazing the entire time, keeping our room up to incredible standards.

H10 rescued our trip!

We changed hotels as the one we originally booked was awful. H10 was a breath of fresh air after a terrible start. Booking via a mobile phone for the extra discount was difficult and not very user friendly. Anyway, once booked we got a taxi over. Positives. The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and well laid out. Large double shower with very good water pressure and instant hot or, more importantly, cold water! Huge salt water pool, plenty of sun beds. 3 other pools we didn’t try. The bar/restaurant by the pool was great. Clean, efficient, friendly staff. Great cocktails and a decent snack menu. Buffet breakfast was large and very varied. Never really had to queue for omelettes or fried eggs. Very large restaurant area. I can’t comment about the dinner options as we ate out but if you want to try them make sure you book! Negatives. Air con was very weak in the room (central air con) and it has been unusually hot this October (34c). The room had a fridge but no complimentary water which I found unusual for a hotel of this quality. The room key cards are extremely sensitive… if you put it anywhere near your phone it gets wiped. (I had to go to reception twice to get a new key card). There was a power cut that lasted an hour and that meant no access to your room!
