H10 Costa Adeje Palace, Tenerife

We love this hotel and try to come back at least once a year. It's very clean, and all the staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly. The food at El Jable is varied; you can always find something you like. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but that makes it very quiet.

We would give this hotel 4.8 out of 5 getting most things spot on. Probably the best hotel we have holidayed in outside Ireland and definitely would agree with a 4 star hotel rating if not higher which is a bit unusual for continental hotels ratings. We stayed in a superior room with sea view on a half board basis. Wouldnt normally go beyond B & B basis but as you can swap dinner for lunch here it is well worth it. Food is excellent for breakfast and lunch but would not be happy with having dinner there every day (we tried it just once). We like to try different restaurants in the locality but the choice in the immediate locality is limited enough with the Indian restaurant across the road being by far the best but was very quiet when we were there at peak hours on a Monday and Friday. Could not complement the staff in the hotel enough. That includes all staff from cleaners to waiting staff and chefs. They really go out of their way to be lovely to guests. There was just one exception which was a young girl in the sky bar but maybe she was having a bad day! The facilities in the hotel are exceptional and every day we seemed to find something new. On the minus side it isnt nice to have two different classes in one hotel i.e. Privilege v Non Privilege. Also we didnt like to see the outdoor cleaning staff to be of just one particular nationality which again is a class distinction. One other small thing which could easily be sorted is hotel room numbering and signage is not very clear. We met two sets of guests unable to find their rooms and its easy to see why. They possibly should have room number signage in the lifts as there are a few different escalators. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and in some cases this hotel was better so almost full marks to the staff and management and thank you for a great week.

I stayed here for 7 nights with my husband beginning of November. We had a lovely time and met some really nice people. We had a privilege room which I think is the same as non privilege rooms. The cost of the safe was included, the fridge contained a couple of beers and cans of coke but only the water was replenished which is strange as we were all inclusive. We had a coffee machine and kettle plus 2 chocolates were left each evening. We could also use the rooftop pool and lounging area plus the privilege pool in the grounds. There was also a loung area in reception with a help yourself bar and snacks plus a separate check in area and services desk. Was it worth paying extra for privilege services - definitely not. However we did like the hotel and found 90% of the staff were great. The buffet was good some evenings and not so good on others. We tried La Tosca restaurant for breakfast and whilst it looked fantastic the food was cold. We didn't try the Japanese. Overall the holiday was very good, spotless room and public areas. Yes the hall carpets are a bit grubby but they get a lot of footfall. The grounds and pool areas are immaculate and the food in the pool bar is freshly cooked and prepared.I will definitely go again all inclusive but not privilege. Thank you for a fab holiday.
