Amazing hotel with friendly and professional staff, tasty and varied food, and a great overall atmosphere

We stayed in the H10 Atlantic Sunset Hotel for a period of ten days in early July. The reception by the staff was friendly and professional, a common experience during our stay. The hotel itself is a modern building with generous rooms and open spaces and the layout means you are never feeling "trapped" between concrete as is often the case in other hotels. We particularly like how H10 attempts to stylise its hotels to avoid the dominating and oppressive architecture common in this sector. The three main pools offer an interesting variety to enjoy with the kids, to participate in the aqua gym, or to relax and unwind. Three different atmospheres all in a short walk. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the lovely animation team (our child still sings the songs and dances their choreographies). A minor nitpick: during the night a football game was held (semi-finals at least), there was no other "main" entertainment. Not everybody is into football, so maybe an alternative (at the outdoor stage or a bit swingier options at the lobby bar?) would have been possible. Since I'm talking about the bars, I did find it slightly disappointing that staff members did not seem to want to deviate from the cocktail menu. I understand the menu is there for a reason, but if there is no queue and if you have all the ingredients clearly available, a special request should be manageable. Especially if you made that same cocktail the evening before in another bar :) Compared to other H10 hotels we already visited, the Atlantic Sunset offers a slightly higher quality of food in the main buffet restaurant. The meals were varied and tasty, and I'd say even picky eaters will find something they like every time. A minor gripe was that the fish section was a bit less attractive than at other H10 hotels with a smaller selection and often the fish was already cooked a short while earlier making it a bit dry. We preferred to have our meals outside, and we were happy there was always enough place, but in the evening there was a bit too little shade. The la carte restaurants are all well worth a visit. We preferred Stromboli for the atmosphere and food. Even our 1.5-year-old managed to eat a starter and a (well-filled) plate of pasta. The Tepanyaki is a fun experience too and very intimate. Route 66 was our least favourite as the main course could have used a bit more vegetables (but hey, it is the American experience after all). The meat was great though. It is worth mentioning the guest relations service again as we had a booking/availability issue on the last night which was gracefully resolved by a very friendly member of the public relations staff. If she reads this, and I hope she does: you made our last evening very memorable. Thank you! In summary, the H10 Atlantic Sunset is an amazing hotel with friendly and professional staff, tasty and varied food, and a great overall atmosphere.

Wonderful holiday

Had the most wonderful time staying here with my family. There was 10 of us in total and we can't fault this hotel. Lovely quiet area but not far at all from Costa Adeje. We had 2 kids with us who enjoyed the kids club and the activities. The rooms were clean and spacious and overall had a brilliant holiday.

We had a great time, the hotel is a perfect size, great for families, bright, modern and clean with spacious rooms and balcony. The hotel staff are very friendly and I was impressed with the service. There were so many pools to choose from with one of them overlooking the sea. We also used the free shuttle bus to the beach which was an added benefit. I totally agree with one of the July reviews with regards to the kids club and buffet. I have stayed at the H10 Rubican Palace and their kids club was so much better, treasure hunt for all the family with prizes, daisy was much more of a feature with more dancing in the morning and evening as well as the birthday party every week. They also had themed entertainment every night where kids were sometimes part of the show. At this kids club, the staff were lovely however, there was a lot of colouring with a few basic games. Kids were grouped together until age 12 rather than being divided into different age groups. The buffet food choice in the evening wasn't great especially for vegetarians or non shellfish eaters and the food was ok but not great.

Good location, service and food!

Customer service makes or breaks a hotel experience.. happy to say that on the whole we received an amazing service at H10. Our main concern was being able to find vegan and allergy friendly food in the buffet. The kitchen staff did a great job looking after us, making sure that all our meals were cooked separately from the vicinity of anything that was not vegan. Laurent, especially, made sure we have the best experience and tried to make us a whole variety of vegan meals every single day, such as sushi, panna cotta, burger, green curry, pasta, japchae, chickpea mayo, mousse and a special banana dessert which we devoured. He made our food with so much happiness, really a gem of a person. So glad to have met him, he made our stay amazing. Simone also made sure that he made our food with utmost care and made sure we received a great meal and a great time. Jude also did his best to cater to our requests and were really grateful for this. The hotel staff was very friendly and really helped out with recommendations for shopping, sight seeing etc. We had a very smooth check-in and check-out, Carlos, at the reception, was really helpful. Its a great option for all-inclusive if thats what youre looking for. The only issue we faced was with Leslie, who I think is a manager based at the reception. We needed an ice pack to be delivered to the room due to a foot sprain, and to this request she was very rude, unhelpful and insensitive. Did not appreciate her behaviour at all. Hope the management can look into this feedback. The rooms in this property are great, and we enjoyed the infinity pool too. The location is also very convenient as its in the heart of Costa Adeje, making you super close to everything in the island. I especially enjoyed my morning walks outside of the hotel vicinity, and coming across quaint streets and a beautiful natural pool and rocky beach just opposit the hotel. I recommend this hotel for convenience, good food and good service.
