What we experienced

On late arrival to the Hotel due to flight delays we went to checkin. Met by a lady who looked half asleep and not interested in anything we asked.
Reception staff on a few occasions lacked understanding of The Privilege Class, we had to go over this a few times. One person, said ask the waitor, they will know. Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
As we were late we didn't bother unpacking as so tired.
As we hit the bed, shattered and looking forward to a good night sleep in a lovely junior suite, l soon discovered this strange noise. Soon discovered we were just above the refrigeration units to the restaurant below us in block 3.
Room Number 3201.
We called reception and explained about this noise, and actually vibration, how it was making me feel sick.
He said he would investigate.
We had a pretty poor sleep and then a technician came to the room, they were very good and understood our problem.
We called reception and felt like a battle to change the room.
Also, the whole time trying to change room they then tried to sell us to upgrade to the AI. We didn't want AI due to wanting to go out and about to eat and drink. We were happy with half board privilege class.
So, after a long morning, by afternoon we finally had a higher level room.
So, l would not recommend the 2nd floor in block 3.
We really did enjoy the Veiw restaurant, the staff in there were fantastic. Especially Swan, who was very efficient, friendly and professional.
The food was really good, only thing we thought would be good, is if they had a change of menu, maybe a few specials on, to make it different if there for 2 weeks, can be a bit boring.
Would be nice to see more seafood on the menu.
When we did visit the buffet on the 2 occasions the food was absolutely delicious. One night a huge amount of lovely sushi. Plenty of fish served in the buffet. Our only issue with the buffet is the noise, it is a family friendly hotel so thst is to be expected, so would recommend those without kids to do privilege class as you can avoid the noise from buffet. Especially breakfast was really lively and loudbut it was fine just lucky we could escape to quieter areas.
The pools aren't heated, so unfortunately we didn't go in them very much as way to cold. We did enjoy booking into the spa daily for the hydrotherapy pool.
The spa is lovely and the guy who works in there was really good and helpful.
We enjoyed our time, once room sorted.
Lovely part of Playa Paraíso. The hotel is beautiful, looks like rhe Atelier in Mexico.
Lovely setting, peaceful in some areas.
Drinks lovely, mostly just spanish wines on offer.
Also the teppenyaki was excellent, always enjoy that on holiday.
We do love going privilege as we enjoy the lounge area, the supply of drinks and fruit, nuts and donuts in the morning. Coffee machine.
Looked like majority of people had AI.
Nice walk along the coast and to shops up past Hard rock cafe.
The Hard Rock cafe is very close and music can be heard, but they seem to have strict guidelines and only play certain times and days. It didn't bother us, in fact we quite liked the music.
Excellent veiws from the hard rock side, the sunsets are amazing.
Enjoy

A stunning hotel
Whatawonderfulworld
What a stunning hotel. The design is fabulous and feels contemporary, but luxurious. A very friendly welcome from Reception with a glass of cava, cold towels and homemade marshmallows.
The rooms are really beautiful and spacious with a small sitting area and decent balcony. The beds are oh so comfy and I loved the large walk-in shower with Rituals toiletries. We had paid for a lovely sea view and we were in the Beso building overlooking the main pool and sea - just wonderful.
We spent our days by the main pool and loved the aqua gym/dance sessions - especially by Martin who is great fun. We also attended the glass jewellery craft session which was fab and you come out with a lovely necklace/memento.
It is easy to get a lounger and there is no bagging going on so all very civilised. The infinity pool is also worth a go. I should mention the gardens and foliage which is the loveliest Ive ever seen in a hotel and is beautifully maintained. Everywhere is immaculate and clean and the staff are lovely.
The food is generally good, but could maybe do with theme nights to elevate it a bit more and prevent repetition. The need to book your breakfast and dinner slot is a bit of a pain and needs to go in my opinion. A bit controversial perhaps, but I would also suggest an earlier slot for families with children where there is entertainment ie pizza making so that they can all have fun and go wild before the adults arrive. To be fair, the children were really well behaved.
Entertainment - they need a pianist in the bar/lobby for pre-dinner drinks/cocktails and then all vocalists moved here (rather than downstairs) for post dinner drinks and entertainment for adults only. The stage downstairs is used for kids discos/acrobats and it would be best to keep it for this.
We were only here for 5 nights, but what an absolute treat. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The great weather and sunshine of course added further delight. Very happy to recommend.

I stayed here with my cousin in a swim up room and we cannot fault this place.
First off the greeting when you come a nice glass of champagne and a big smile.
We didnt wait long before we were shown to our room.
The room was clean comfortable and very modern same as the bathroom shower.
We had breakfast which you couldnt fault either plenty of choices for kids as well.
We would say that the dinner ok but the beef cheeks in sauce was amazing hats off to the chef for that.
we didnt visit the restaurants on site but next time we will.
The staff were all polite, friendly, and gave you privacy and truly made our stay amazing.
We look forward to coming back soon in the year for 10 days.
A must stay. 5stars.
Damien. Rock.

Wonderful in every way

I only have positive things to say about this lovely hotel. The staff are friendly, it was a great check in experience, the room exceeded my expectations in size, location, cleanliness and comfort. The food in the main buffet restaurant was lovely, the salted pool was heated (although personally I would still like it warmer like a bath!) the gym was clean and fully equipped, there were some nice walks in the area, and the sun shone for us all week! Nothing to dislike - if this hotel is one youre thinking of, then I urge you to book and I dont think youd be unhappy.
