Reviews
High quality - would definitely revisit & recommend!
pu55ycat78

We spent ages researching all different 5 star hotels in tenerife to go for new years eve & eventually settled on this one. We were glad we did - the pictures online dont do it justice, they make it look a bit more minimalist but it feels a bit more luxurious & opulent in person. Everything was spotless & well maintained. Our room was only standard but really lovely & quite spacious - it actually had its own comfy lounge area as well as a big balcony. Depending on when you sleep or how much time you spend in your room, you may need earplugs if you stay the hard rock side. The noise from their pool was crazy loud & a little from outside bars at night sometimes too! But it didn't bother us too much as we were mostly outdoors ourselves or sleeping late after music had finished. It did go on to 2am new years eve but stopped at night fall mostly otherwise. There was a really nice variety of different areas to sit & relax outside the hotel in & our favourite was the infinity pool which was absolutely beautiful & generally very quiet & chilled. The water park looked fun for those with little children! As we weren't privilege, we didn't get to see that area's bar & pool. Our main concern was the variety & quality of the food available as we're proper foodies so we were worried we'd end up feeling bored or underwhelmed just eating on one site for all inclusive & not trying local places. However the variety & quality of the food was great. The buffet was a fantastic spread with lots of items varying each day & meal time with good quality ingredients. Small gripes are that the hot food often wasn't very hot & stuff often wasn't well labelled so as someone who is not a big meat eater it was difficult to tell which items were vegetarian (some things were also mislabelled so a few times I picked things up that said they were cheese for instance or didnt have a label & they ended up being meat or fish). I'm sure if we'd have asked staff they would have told us, but there were too many items to check! The buffet restaurant staff were really helpful as our autistic teen had a bit of a difficult journey getting there plus the change of environment & routine was hard so she struggled the first few days & barely came out of her room. Once we explained the situation, staff were super helpful about letting us take a plate of food back to her & then finding us a quieter table later in the holiday when she started to feel about to join us - these things really helped. The buffet is quite big, loud & echoey, so was a bit overwhelming at times! The a la carte restaurants were much smaller & more chilled (apart from occasional screaming children but that can't be helped). The quality of the dishes in the Italian was astounding & the portion sizes were huge. There wasn't much for me as a non meat eater in route 66 so that was a bit disappointing but my family loved their steak dishes although it was a shame they wouldn't let us order something from there to take back for our daughter as she loves steak but hadn't felt able to come put that night (we did order things a few times that we could just subtley put in a napkin to take away such as chicken goujons & that worked fine). Our only real disappointment there all holiday (other than the weather at times which wasn't the hotels fault lol) was that we couldn't get a table in the Japanese restaurant at all, & that was the one we'd most wanted to try. We didn't realise the a la cart restaurants would be shut both new years eve & day so this did limit our choices & we only manage 2 of the 3 a la carte meals we were entitled to for the week. The teppanyaki place looked great too, but despite capacity for 2 they only seemed to have one chef on so seating was incredibly limited which is frustrating. Staff were generally very professional & friendly. There were a few whom it seemed like we were inconveniencing when we asked for standard things & they appeared a bit grumpy. However, I understand that a lot of staff had been working lots of extra hours over the Christmas period & were overdue a break - it wasn't a major thing & didn't cause any big problems just stopped us feeling quite as relaxed as we might have at times as we're a bit shy by nature so don't like to put anyone out. We loved being all inclusive & found the variety of drinks on offer was also really good. We also only found they did bar snacks on the last 2 days which we wish we'd known sooner as nobody mentioned until we saw someone else have them. They were really tasty! New years eve celebrations were to a really good standard - the buffet felt extra premium with the array of ingredients in the dishes on offer, the party & band on the roof & the party bags for each guest were a lovely touch. Getting to see the fireworks go off everywhere around as well as the hotel's own was something else! Also, Make sure you catch a sunset (or several) over the infinity pool, it really is spectacular & would be easy to miss if you largely stayed around the kids pool or circle bar when outside. As for nearby area - there's are 2 small coves, one to the front, one to the back of the hotel - they're pretty pebbly so you need good beach shoes ideally but the scenery is beautiful & although they don't look like traditional sunbathing beaches it's nice that they're not really busy. We enjoyed a wander over to the hard rock roof top bar one night for spectacular views & lunch in (?nama) Japanese restaurant on the water front after we'd checked out on the last day (although I think we could probably have carried on having drinks & snacks in the hotel as they didn't take the bands back & they don't get checked digitally when ordering but you do need to be checked in to book a restaurant table though). There were a few nice looking bars & restaurants in that little spot just over the road & then a strip further up past the hard rock hotel on the other side of the bay - these ones all looked very touristy as did the shops there. We were hoping to find a nice authentic tapas bar but didn't manage to (although also didn't look that hard) due to being all inclusive. There was a reasonable size supermarket with a good range of things on that strip too & a fancy clothes shop but we thought it was a bit boring & overpriced. It looked liked there would be a lovely walk all along the coast from the hotel but to be honest we were mostly there to relax & our daughter isn't keen on walking so we didn't stray more than about 15 minutes from the hotel. We organised some lovely trips seperately from the hotel including a whale & dolphin watching tour with blue ocean, a sunset beach horse ride at la bonita fincas & a stargazing up Mt. Tiede & meal at a bodega trip but unfortunately the last was cancelled due to poor weather but betwwen these & the hotel we felt there was plenty do do. There was a little games room we ended up in at the hotel instead on the night we'd been supposed to do the trip & that was a fun change, it had pool, air hockey, computer games, basketball hoops etc... We Would definitely recommend this place & go back if we were looking for a similar kind of holiday again!

A hidden gem..
drrnp

I previously visited for this hotel November 2025, having stayed in Tenerife at the Ritz Carlton but then as a couple. As this was my first solo trip in four years it was suggested I went somewhere a little less isolated which led me here! The hotel is superb in it's design, allowing you to take from it what you enjoy as a holiday rather than be forced to be amongst everyone. I chose the privilege package which allocates you to thr privilege building looking out over the ocean. The first suite i had room 3418 had a wrap around terrace with outside jacuzzi! Spacious lounge, a guest shower and toilet and an ensuite with double shower and bath both finished to a high standard complete with guest amenities, robes, slippers absolutely as you woukd expect.. On my return visit New Year's Eve I had a standard privilege room 3516 smaller with a terrace abd no jacuzzi but other than this it was again an equal standard. The privilege status means you can dine in the view restaurant breakfast and dinner, also use the roof top infinity and bar... The hotel uses an app to book your food and beverage times allowing you complete autonomy over when and where you eat. I go all inclusive which agsin is a new concept to me, but yoy really do get good value as everything is a premium brand. I must say that the guest relations team with a special mention to Darling, Barbara and Naomi are second to none! They are outstanding in all they do, nothing is a problem! Always a smile and a willingness to go the extra mile and a little bit more! The front desk staff with the exception of Mauel really do need to attend charm school, they seem to be employed for their language skills but have no idea how to provide customer service at a 5 star level. Their so quivk to refuse your request and to find away to say no, rather than yes, and communication between themselves needs much improvement as one agrees something then neglects to put that on your notes resulting in a refusal to a request that had already been agreed... The housekeeping staff are simply the best, friendly, efficient and obliging, even the ones with very limited English, and the mini bar attendants again cannot do enough for you. In respect of porters, they again are pleasant and amiable. Food & Beverage staff so friendly but some of them find the constraints of having drinks menus frustrating which I must say I find difficult as my pre dinner drink is a dirty martini not listed but Yerri was very happy to make it using his own individual knowledge and skill, yet having done so and making me very happy he was then reprimanded for doing so by his supervisor and I was thrn spoken to saying that I was able to have it tonight as they were quiet but not other nights! I explained that 5 star establishments do not dictate the guests drink of choice when they already have the ingredients and the skill set to provide it! I did bring this up with Barbara at guest relations who very quickly relayed my point snd needless to say I had my drink without much resistance 90% of the time! The hotel grounds, gardens, communal areas and guest facilities are spotless kept to a high standard. The Central Market Buffet i did use twice on my first visit abdcehilst the choice of food, drinks and style are in no way lacking, I personally prefer to be served so mostly I dined in thr View where the food is a gastronomic delight! I heard grumbles on New Year's Eve which was a set menu, and very pleasing yonthe yes and palet but I would say rather than the food being at fault it was more a question of were the grumbles suited to the environment and that style.... This maybe where the Central Market Buffet came into it's own! Especially as the grumbles water wearing shorts and trainers to a gala where as the rest of us were parading our finest... I personally feel that the restaurant manager should of refused entry to them... standards really should we need to ask people to wear lingerie trousers in a formal setting.... should they just not automatically wear them!... At the Ritz entry would gave been denied! The Italian Stromboli restaurant agsin rustic and authentic, great service as is the Tepanyaki a definite treat of splendour, flavour and atmosphere. I do think that the dinner menu at the View should be changed at least 3 days out of 7.... or more specials... If you are wanting to go as a family then I think you would be more than satisfied with the offering as staff appeared to adore the children and the water park and swim up rooms all served very popular together with entertainment for them The entertainment for us adults agsin high quality artists catering for all genres.

Great Stay at H10 Atlantic Sunset
paulgF9120BR

Weve just returned from nine nights at the H10 Atlantic Sunset Horizons Collection in Playa Paraiso, Tenerife, and it easily lived up to its five-star rating. We stayed all-inclusive through Jet2 Holidays and found the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The flight into Tenerife South took around four and a half hours, and the transfer to the hotel was a simple 30-minute drive. Hotel & Location The hotel sits on the edge of Playa Paraiso with lovely views out to the Atlantic. Its modern, spotless, and well maintained, spread across three connected buildings with around 300 rooms. Theres a small town nearby with a few bars, shops and cafés, plus a shopping centre about a 20-minute walk away. Taxis are always available, and bus routes run from just outside the hotel. Arrival & Room Check-in was quick and friendly, with a glass of champagne and pastries on arrival a great first impression. Our room was large, modern, and spotless, with a sea-view balcony, comfy bed, safe, air-con, coffee machine, and plenty of USB sockets. The bathroom was bright and spacious with an excellent shower, and we loved the wristband room key simple and convenient. Food & Drink There are four main restaurants plus one reserved for Privilege guests. The buffet restaurant was consistently good varied, fresh, and always topped up. We especially enjoyed the la carte options: Route 66 (American-style diner), Stromboli (Italian classics), and Sakura (Teppanyaki show cooking our favourite!). The coffee shop also served great snacks and desserts in a relaxed setting. Bars were excellent too cocktails and friendly service during the day, with live entertainment in the evenings. Marcus at the pool bar really stood out for great service. Pools & Facilities There are four main pools plus a Privilege rooftop infinity pool. All were temperature-controlled with plenty of high-quality sunbeds. The Splash Park kept families busy, while the Circle Pool beside the swim-up rooms was perfect for relaxing. The Infinity Pool overlooking the ocean was stunning. Other facilities include a modern gym, full-service spa, small arcade, and a well-stocked on-site shop. Everything was spotless and well managed. Entertainment & Activities Evening shows ranged from singers to tribute acts the Elton John night was brilliant. Daytime activities were varied and easy to join in, from aqua fit to paddleboard yoga. Families are well catered for with a great kids club and friendly animation team. Getting Around The resort is built on a hill, but lifts and ramps connect all levels, so its easy to move around. Accessibility is clearly well thought-out. Nearby Just outside, theres a small row of bars and shops plus the Hard Rock Hotel and its shop. A short walk uphill takes you to the Rosa Centre for more restaurants and cafés. Fanabe Market and Costa Adeje are about 15 minutes by taxi, and La Caleta is a great nearby spot for authentic seaside dining. Final Thoughts We really enjoyed our stay friendly staff, great food, spotless facilities, and a relaxed atmosphere that still feels high-end. Theres plenty to do whether youre travelling as a couple or family, and the hotel feels calm and welcoming throughout. Wed happily stay again or try another of H10s Horizons Collection hotels. A fantastic family and adult hotel.
JLeiper

A Fantastic Family Getaway We'll Be Back! This was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms are incredibly spaciousperfect for families. With five pools, each offering a unique atmosphere, there was something for everyone: younger kids, teens, and even older parents found their ideal spot to relax or play. We upgraded to the Privilege package, which was absolutely worth it. The food was consistently lovely, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the animation team kept the energy high and the fun flowing. Our children spent hours in the pools which were heated and had an amazing time. We did encounter a small hiccup on the last day regarding our room extension, but the reception team handled it promptly and professionally. Aside from that, everythingfrom the food to the pristine condition of the hotelwas flawless. Were already looking forward to our next visit

🤩I won a holiday!!! 🏆🌇

Back in August I entered @h10hotels photo contest with this @gopro photo of Kalyan and his friend on holiday at @h10atlanticsunset in Tenerife and I found out yesterday that I won 2nd place!

We’ve won 2 nights with breakfast for 2 people in one of their city hotels!

Which one should we choose?? Seville? Lisbon? Venice? Malaga? Rome?…

So excited! Thank you @h10hotels!
