H10 Imperial Tarraco, Tarragona

Make sure you book a room with a sea view, it is spectacular. The hotel is perfectly sited for the old city and for the shopping area. There is a Spar across the road and one block down the street. We did not dine here but the breakfasts were excellent. Staff are really helpful with directions to local tapas bars. We loved Tarragona and when we return we will stay in the H10.

We spent 3 nights a a junior mare suite and the views were amazing. The room is well appointed with lots of space and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which is filled with good options of fresh food. We also used the parking and although it was a bit expensive, it was practical. The location of the hotel is near the center and you can walk everywhere. All our interactions with the personnel were good. The only thing we had problems was with missing towels one day but they were promptly brought to the room. We will certainly be back to this hotel .

Perfect location in this beautiful city. Mini suite was very good. Reception staff particularly helpful and friendly. Third time at this hotel.

I always look forward to staying at the H10 Imperial Tarraco and this year's visit was as expected. It's a great hotel in a super location and it's new and modern. Although there was a slight mixup when I checked in as the room which I had booked was not available but this was soon rectified the next morning very professionally. The rooms are holding up well, slight wear and tear as you would expect but they are spacious and well appointed. The views from your balcony make the trip worthwhile. The bed is clean and very, very comfortable, the blackout blinds work very well and it is a great hotel to stay in. Plenty of wardrobe space and complimentary water which was replaced every day ( a smaller size to last year) Breakfast is varied and great. Plenty of choice of everything and some which I am not sure about - carrots or cauliflower for breakfast ? The choice of cakes and pastries continues to amaze me even though I do not have an especially sweet tooth. You will not leave the breakfast room hungry. They do clear away at 10.30 so don't be late. The rooftop pool are is a lovely place to relax and sun bathe or have a drink. The downstairs pool area never got very busy. There are pool towels available in the hamper by the sun loungers. All of the staff are great, helpful yet friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much. There is plenty of places nearby to eat, drink and shop nearby. The bus stop for buses 11 or 12 to the beaches is right outside the hotel so you are very well situated. The main bus terminus is about a 10/15 minute walk away. There is a Carrefour Express and a Spar both nearby for any snacks or water which you might need. Enjoy the wonderful H10 if you choose to stay here !
