H10 Vintage Salou

Just got back today from another wonderful stay at H10 Vintage. Me and my sister stayed here the same week, in October 2023 and it was great to go back and see, basically, all of the same staff. From reception, bar staff, restaurant, lifeguard and even the night time security guy. I think that says a lot about somewhere and so great to return and see friendly, familiar faces. We cannot fault Vintage at all. We stayed in a standard pool view room, which had 2 great sized beds, huge double wardrobe, plenty of room to get around, good size balcony and lovely bathroom with walk in shower. We had housekeeping twice during our 7 night stay and the room was always spotless when they'd done. We aren't in the room much so no need for daily cleaning, bedding, towels etc...seems a waste to us. Lovely friendly greeting on check in, always a smile on entering the buffet at meal times and the waiting staff are very hard working but always have a smile on their face. The food is beautiful and always a very good choice of fish, meats, salad, vegetables, fresh grill, fresh fruit, desserts. On some nights they even have a hot dessert station and the apple crumble was to die for! If you can't find something to eat, I don't know what you're looking for! Food was replenished quickly and replaced if they felt it had been out too long so always fresh. We did go out for a meal at night a couple of times but no problem, let the maitre'd know the night before and they'll swap you to lunch instead, if you're on HB. The bar prices are extremely fair and have a great selection of everything. The food from the bar menu is 10/10.....Salou Sandwich is Chefs kiss! The poolside waiters are friendly and they also work super hard all day. The hotel was full capacity last week and never had an issue getting a sunbed where we wanted. If you can't see a lounger, go and see the lifeguard and he will bring you loungers, they have stacks you can't see! OK, so the pool is not heated.....trick is to just get in and up to your shoulders and its lovely to cool off in. I even had a little fun doing individual synchronised swimming and aqua ballet I have waffled on a bit but to finish, there was a little incident on the last night with an injury to one of my family members and I have to commend the staff that were on that night. They were wonderful and all hands were on deck to help out.....one of the bar men was on hand with an ice pack, the reception team and another barman was organised an ambulance (which wasn't required in the end and was cancelled) and the lovely security man who basically carried her to the lift and wouldn't leave her until we were safe in our room. They even called an hour later to make sure she was still ok and whether she needed any further assistance and should she need anything, to absolutely let them know. Honestly, I'm not sure they could have done anymore. We still apologise for the hole in the staircase wall We just love Vintage and will absolutely be back! Great hotel, great staff, great location = Wonderful Holiday!

Visited here last week and have zero complaints. I might have been lucky but room 425 was a larger room ( same as 125, 225, 325 and 525 ) with double balcony was very spacious. 2 x double beds - fridge and modern shower room. Fantastic room. Pro's Alcohol was very cheap - a pint and a cava 4.50 euros for both !!! Breakfast was the usual but well prepared and plentiful Pool area plenty of loungers Nice Indoor lounge area Entertainment was decent Adult Only ( no screaming kids ) A short walk to beach and main centre - 10 mins Free Safe Very well priced room Cons ZERO !!!!!!!

This hotel is in a great location. Check in was quick though you don’t get into your room until 3 so had to leave our cases and go back. We had a pool view room which I would recommend. Rooms were clean though a bit dated. We were half board and although buffet wasn’t massive the food was always fresh and topped up regularly. We caught the evening entertainment a couple of nights and it was really quite good. If you have a pool view room you can watch from your balcony as it is held outside when weather is good. We stayed 9 nights and never had an issue getting sunbeds. We used the roof terrace a few times and it was really clean and a nice small bar. As mentioned in previous reviews there is very little sound proofing between rooms which can be an issue. My only criticism is that although there are lots of sunbeds there are very few parasols. During our stay we never had one at all and in the temperatures we had while there I would definitely have used one. We took the Plana bus to Tarragona which is well worth a visit if you are in Salou and for those that like shopping it has a great shopping centre. Cambrils is also well worth a visit.

Nice hotel in a great location. Came to salou for a long weekend with friends and couldn’t have got a better location. It was a 10 minute walk from the beach and also the town. The hotel it self was really modern with a lovely decor. Reception staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Check in was easy. Rooms were basic but again modern plenty of storage space and nice bathroom. Rooms were cleaned daily. Only downside was no tea/coffee making abilities. We booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice to suit all needs and helped yourself to tea,coffee and juice station. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Pool area wasn’t open till 9am and ther was no option for people to secure loungers beforehand which was areal bonus. We arrived first day at midday and we easily got a lounger for the 4 of us. They didn’t accept cash at the bar only card which would of been a pain for 4 friends as we didn’t want to keep talking up who spent what so it was really helpful that they did a wrist band that you got at reception that you pre payed so that solved that, only thing was there was only 1 wrist band so the same person has to keep getting the drinks!! Pool was lovely and there was also a roof top pool that was quiet. Only saw 1 night of entertainment which was good. I would definitely stay here again if going to Salou x
