A great hotel in the heart of Salou

I have visited Salou 6 times now and this was my 4th time with my mother. We previously stayed up the hill and had a fairly long walk each day to and from the beach. My mum chose this hotel as it was adults only and closer to the centre and main beach.
Our room was spacious and super clean, AC was set at an ideal temperature and there was a ceiling fan too. The beds were comfortable and there was a fridge and safe, both of which were free to use.
We go to the beach daily so are not concerned about getting loungers, there was a line of people waiting to get out in the morning as we left breakfast but the man in charge seemed pretty on it! We came back to the pool late afternoon so that I could get a swim and there was always space.
The food was great! Lots of choice and some brilliant salad options and delicious vegetables every night. Mum likes a cooked breakfast so enjoyed this each day, I weirdly decided that Id have porridge and fruit, there was a pot of this each day and was delicious with Nutella .
Prices at the bar were reasonable, I always think that sticking to wine, cava and beer is best value.
We went a wander after dinner so didnt see entertainment as wed go to bed early. I also dont like sitting out after dark because of risk of being bitten by mosquitoes.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who does what we do, I cant comment on life around the pool all day as its not for me.

H10 Vintage Salou Poolside entertainment

Arian and Ivan were absolutely fantastic and really made the pool side Entertainment experience unforgettable. They were friendly, energetic, and full of jokes that kept everyone laughing from start to finish. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
There was a great variety of activities to suit all ages and interests, so everyone could join in and have a brilliant time. Arian and Ivan made sure everyone felt included, and they always had a way of bringing a smile to everyone's face. Their humour, energy, and dedication made the whole experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend H10 Vintage Salou, especially with Arian and Ivan leading the poolside fun!

It's been a week since we got home, and all we can think about is going back to Salou!

We stayed at H10 Vintage for 11 nights and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were always greeted with a smile, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Reception is open 24/7, and knowing we could call at any time in an emergency gave us real peace of mind.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed (fresh towels and toiletries were provided, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap). The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very much appreciated in the summer heat.
The room also had a mini fridge, a TV with Spanish and English channels (we were even able to connect our YouTube and Spotify accounts), a safe, a decent sized balcony, and the room felt very secure with the door locking automatically when you leave (and an extra lock on the inside). The wristbands we received at check-in also worked as room key and can be used to pay around the hotel, which was incredibly convenient.
There were a few small (personal) downsides, but none of them affected how much we enjoyed our stay. The hairdryer was not powerful enough for drying or styling curly hair, there were no small face towels (so bring your own), the WiFi stopped working properly in the evenings, and the room felt a little cramped for three adults. The walls were also quite thin and we were able to hear noise from neighbouring rooms.
The main pool was one of our favourite areas. It was always clean, spacious, and open from 9 am until around 6.30 pm, while the rooftop pool opened from 10 am. There were plenty of sunbeds available at both pools, although there could have been a few more umbrellas for shade.
A special mention goes to the bar team, who were always professional, friendly, and made some of the best cocktails and smoothies we had during our holiday. The hot snacks were also delicious, especially the ham pizza!
The entertainment team truly made our holiday even more enjoyable. A huge thank you to them for all of their hard work and endless energy. Every morning after breakfast they got everyone moving with aqua gym, pool games, bingo, and plenty of other fun activities. There were also evening shows every night, although we didn't get the chance to watch them as we were out and about.
The food was another highlight. While the selection was slightly smaller than at other hotels we stayed at, the quality was excellent and everything we tried was delicious. A special shoutout to Antonio, who beautifully plated the lava cake (which was absolutely divine - I enjoyed it so much I went back for seconds haha). He was always smiling, just like the rest of the catering team, who made every meal feel welcoming.
Like many H10 hotels, this hotel also offers a spa, sauna, and gym. We didn't use the spa or sauna, but we did visit the gym. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. Most of the equipment was focused on cardio (there was a treadmill, bikes, and a rowing machine). There was only one weight machine with built in weights, which was very challenging to figure out how to use. It would have been great to see a bit more variety and maybe some free weights for guests who enjoy strength training.
Overall, we had an amazing stay at H10 Vintage and would happily return without hesitation (especially around Sant Joan to watch all the fireworks and live music from the rooftop again). We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Salou and who wants to stay at an adults-only hotel!

Great location

This hotel is in a great location. Check in was quick though you don’t get into your room until 3 so had to leave our cases and go back. We had a pool view room which I would recommend. Rooms were clean though a bit dated. We were half board and although buffet wasn’t massive the food was always fresh and topped up regularly. We caught the evening entertainment a couple of nights and it was really quite good. If you have a pool view room you can watch from your balcony as it is held outside when weather is good. We stayed 9 nights and never had an issue getting sunbeds. We used the roof terrace a few times and it was really clean and a nice small bar.
As mentioned in previous reviews there is very little sound proofing between rooms which can be an issue.
My only criticism is that although there are lots of sunbeds there are very few parasols. During our stay we never had one at all and in the temperatures we had while there I would definitely have used one.
We took the Plana bus to Tarragona which is well worth a visit if you are in Salou and for those that like shopping it has a great shopping centre. Cambrils is also well worth a visit.
