H10 Delfín, Salou - Cambrils

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay at H10 Delfin, friendly staff, great room with everything we needed and a large balcony. We were a group of 7 family and friends staying for 4 nights and we all had a lovely stay. Location was great, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Shops and restaurants close by. We stayed half board, the food was great. Drinks were very reasonable prices, great cocktails. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect visit. Excellent staff and facilities

From check in onwards the staff were pleasant and helpful. Everywhere was superclean. The bathroom in our room was bright and modern. Food in restaurant was varied and always something to enjoy. Bar prices not too bad. Pools a bit noisy with entertainment but the rooftop area was quiet. Rooms with a pool view looked onto the entertainment but closing the doors blocked a lot of the noise and kept the air-conditioning flowing . To the smokers who complained about not being able to smoke anywhere, it was great for non smokers. All in all a very good hotel. The manager should be proud of his staff.

Nice clean hotel,food was nice can't comment on entertainment as we went out at night, was hard to get sunbeds at main pool always reserved with towels,watch out for the people reserveing beds in the shade & moving to them in late afternoon when the sun is on them lol,managed to get beds on roof top after breakfast which was great sun all day, great location bars & restaurants on door step,would return had a great holiday

H10 delfin - a nice hotel

we have just come back from salou/this hotel. chose this one as we wanted a nice adults only hotel, we usually go AI but this time decided to go half board as we dont drink as much as we used to. firstly Reus airport - very good, small uncomplicated. first impressions - nice looking hotel, 3 pools inc a plunge pool on roof. never struggled to get a sunbed, umbrellas, sometimes, quite a few broken ones too but hey ho. checked in and they give you a wristband with a chip in, which is your door key and also can add money onto it to buy drinks etc.. very handy! drinks - not too badly priced 3.20 for a pint of estrella (£2.77). guests - a range from english, dutch and then 2nd week more irish joined the guest list staff - all very nice, domestic staff very good too! room - standard sized room, huge bed was almost like a super king, fridge, free safe, reasonable balcony, small bathroom, two person shower - ypou do do your morning 'routine' and apply make at the same time, yes it was that small. now what it lacked was power points, only one spare in the room, lack of hooks to hang things like towels in the bathroom and a suspicious patch of green mould in the bathroom corner - no extraction fan. quite thin walls as we found out one day as the elderly couple in the next room went out and left the tv on all day, had to go down and tell staff 3 times at 1am (as phone didnt work in room) eventually staff went into the room and found they were not there - so next question is where are an elderly couple at 1am?? staff did offer a different room. balcony doors didnt lock and they had been forced apart at some point, maintenance staff came to 'fix' it but still wasnt very secure. not entierly sure the sheets were changed for the 11 nights we were there? food - better standard of food than the normal AI weve had before which you'd expect being half board, breakfast - usual fayre, nice addition of white sausage, Spanish black pudding and proper pork sausages as well as 'English' ones, range of eggs, Pan con tomate, fruit, cereal etc. dinners - a mixture of meats and seafood, always a choice of paella/noodle dishes, soup (some strange named ones too), rice/potatoes etc.. entertainment - standard nothing amazing, some ok, some awful.. days notice if you wanted to change your dinner into an evening meal. the hotel is fronted by three bars but you cant tell unless you venture out. 3 English pubs across the road and a dutch one round the corner if the food isnt to your tastes (cant see why it wouldn't be though) and a lovely maxi supermercado across the road too run by a ace Spaniard/Serbian guy. main drag is within 2 mins walking distance, easy access to bus routes too overall hotel is nice, but little things like the power points, hooks etc need to be looked at
