Another lovely stay

Very enjoyable return visit. Staff in every area very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Bar area is lovely with a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. We changed our half board from dinner to lunch and found the food each day very fresh with a varied selection. We went out each night and used the very good plana buses. Enjoyed all of the festival activities. In terms of location, we already knew that there isnt a lot near the hotel but we like the quietness and closeness to the beach - a minor issue was cleanliness on the street outside the hotel - especially the bench by the bus stop, full of rubbish left by inconsiderate people but really letting the area down. The only things that we felt needed addressed at the hotel was the sunbed issue - not so relaxing having to get up so early, arguments when towels were removed when some folk left towels and went out. Tiled area around the hotel pool area was also looking a bit grubby in the morning. Overall, another lovely stay and will definitely return.

Another relaxing break

That fact that this was our sixth visit to the H10 Cambrils Playa says it all really. The staff are a credit to this hotel group, and this very well run hotel. Restaurant staff are so very welcoming , they all work so hard to ensure everyone is fed and taken care of. Food is plentyful and varied each day to suit all tastes. Housekeeping are very good , rooms cleaned and replenished daily. Every morning the cleaners are working away to keep all the public areas spotless. Reception staff too are welcoming and helpful. Location is great , with a beautiful extensive beach just accross the road , and public transport available from the back of the hotel , very cheap if you use the Plana Bus card. We shall be back !

Very nice stay overall

Hotel nice and clean food is nice and all staff friendly, Think they should look at how they are managing the sunbed situation. Family and couples want to go for meals together but the girl who looks after the pool is not allowing you to leave your bed unattended. I actually wrote a question , in Spanish to say is it ok for me and wife to go for breakfast together and leave out sunbeds for 30mins, she replied no! This is a ridiculous situation.

Beautiful hotel with professional staff

We stayed here for 10 nights & booked directly with the hotel. We paid the supplement for the pool view room & it was worth it. The room was large with a huge king size bed which was very comfy & there was an additional single bed. We had a fridge to keep drinks cool. The housekeeping service was very good & towels for your room were replenished as required . I requested a kettle & it was delivered to my room in 5 minutes. The bathroom was well equipped & a large shower area. The lobby areas & bar were impressive. The staff on reception were very helpful. We just had the breakfast service as we like to eat out at different places but there was plenty of choice & staff regularly replenished the displays. We only saw a small amount of the animation as were out every night but what we saw was good & they worked hard in the day to get people involved. Plenty of sunbeds & a big pool with clear water - as a swimmer it was one of the best I have swum in. The location of the hotel is Vilafortuny. The beautiful beach is a 3 minute stroll away & is part of the quieter section of beach. There is an excellent beach cabana for lunch (La Mariteca) & some lovely bars & restaurants in walking distance ( on the flat around 15 minutes). The bus stop to get into Cambrils is right outside the pool back door & the shop to buy your bus pass next door to the hotel with a small supermarket. To walk to Cambrils along the promenade takes around 50 mins - the bus 4 mins & costs 0.67 with the card. The bus service was great to be able to explore the surrounding areas. Quite frankly this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
