A lovely modern hotel close to all the city has to offer
Vic1610
Firstly I must apologise for the delay in reviewing this lovely hotel.
We were over to support our son who took part in the Malaga marathon and wanted a quality hotel close to the city.
We werent disappointed, after reading the reviews we decided that H10 Croma suited our needs.
We were greeted in reception by very attentive, and helpful staff. We were a little early checking in, therefore our room wasnt quite ready, but not a problem, a glass of fizz, and time to collect our thoughts after an early start, admiring the lovely Christmas tree in the reception whiled away 30 minutes or so.
Our room was perfect, modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable indeed. The bathroom was super, its always a bonus to have a window to open after a steamy warm shower. The products were luxurious, the towels beautifully fluffy, along with the provision of towelling robes and slippers.
We celebrated a birthday during that weekend, and were surprised by the staff with a bottle of fizz and a birthday greeting bought to our room. We can only think that reception picked up this information from our passports, such a kind and extremely thoughtful gesture.
We were quite lucky with the weather and took advantage of the balcony which was beautifully tiled and very private.
We fell in love with Malaga, especially at the time of year we visited. Thank you to all the staff at H10 Croma Malaga for ensuring we had a special time.

Superb All Round
Gelim
We visited this hotel immediately prior to Christmas and stayed for four nights. It is of striking appearance. The hotel was built in 2022, it has 9 storeys and 138 rooms. The hotel is on the edge of the Old Town with a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Cathedral, to the waterside and other attractions. The hotel caters for guests with mobility difficulties. We reached the hotel by train from the airport with a 10 minute stroll from Malaga-Centro Alameda station. There is a bus service from Malaga Airport but for us the train was the best option. There is car parking at the hotel, we do not know the details.
The reception area, with an adjacent bar, takes up nearly half of the ground floor. It has copious and comfortable soft seating. And whilst users of the bar can and do occupy seating there is always availability. We arrived early for check-in, but were thoroughly welcomed and looked after until our room was ready. All receptionists and other reception staff were unfailingly helpful with excellent English and remarkable professionalism. There is a rooftop bar, pool and spa but we did not use any of these facilities.
The room was generously sized with a comfortable seat, a small bench and small table, there is desk space. The bed was sizeable and very comfortable with good quality linen. The bathroom was unusually located on the outer walls of the room, this meant that it had a window! There was a walk-in shower, it was well appointed and the towels were fabulous large and soft and fluffy! There was no inter-room noise. There was low level traffic noise despite being on a junction of two fairly major roads. There was occasional night-time noise from the pedestrianised square adjacent to and overlooked by the hotel, but not enough to be a nuisance. There was day time noise because of the location but again, not a nuisance. Most rooms have a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The design is a considerable statement and might be intimidating for some guests. We certainly found the glass balustrade disconcerting until we got used to it. Our room was on the 5th floor and whilst we looked towards and could see the Cathedral the balcony had no sun. Rooms on higher floors would be better enabled in these regards. Wi-Fi was excellent and aircon cooling and heating was very efficient. Housekeeping was very good.
We only took breakfast in the hotel, the breakfast room is a large space on the pedestrian square side of the hotel. The breakfast was buffet style although a la carte is available. The selection was wide and of very good quality. As vegetarians we ate well. Staff were friendly and helpful. For lunch we used the hotels Bistro which is separate from all other parts of the hotel and again overlooks the pedestrianised square. Seating is primarily external, there are a small number of counter seats within the Bistro. The menu whilst decidedly short provided enough choice. Food was good. The location of the hotel is such that other restaurants are readily accessible and a walk to any of them was no more than 15 minutes.
All staff were professional and helpful to us. All exhibited a pride in service and most had excellent English. We saw no evidence of package tour groups although the hotel is offered as a city break by many tour operators. We had travelled independently and were treated well.
The very design of this hotel will not appeal to certain guests (we loved it) but the accommodation it provides and the services it gives are first class. With its location it offers an ideal base for visiting Malaga or Andalucía.

Great Hotel

My friend and I had a very pleasant four days staying in this Hotel last week. We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff and a glass of Cava. We were then shown to a lovely spacious room - 717 with balcony and views of the Cathedral.
The rooftop bar with city views was lovely for a drink. We had breakfast in the Hotels restaurant our first morning, thereafter we ate in the Tapas bar which served a fullEnglish breakfast or beautiful fresh fruit and yoghurt.
One evening we ate there - a great selection of tapas and our last night we ate in the Hotels upstairs restaurant where we had an excellent meal.
The Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and the Hotel situation is good for walking everywhere.
I only had one small criticism and that was there was no handle in the shower or next to the toilet. This makes things a little difficult when you get older.
I certainly would recommend this Hotel.

Malaga four night trip
Edmund M
Second visit to Malaga and decided to get a hotel more central than previous stay. Arrived and welcomed by friendly reception staff and a glass of cava which was a nice touch. Luggage in room when we got there. Had room 212 which was a superior room. Was in good order, clean and with a massive bed which turned out to be very comfy. Two balconies which unfortunately overlooked a main road making the room noisy during day but the doors were well fitted plus gentle background noise of air conditioning helped reduce the outside noise. Roof top bar was great and reasonably priced. Food also good. Breakfast had good choice but felt 22 euros was a little overpriced. Really good location apart from the road noise and overall a good experience. Would definitely stay again.
