Put Málaga on your list to visit

Lovely old centre and well worth 3 or 4 days to look around and visit the sights. Taxi ride to botanical gardens well worth a visit. Currently train trips to Cordoba or Seville curtailed as the lines are still being repaired from the terrible collision a few months ago. Semana Santa celebration over Easter would be a super experience but very crowded ( so book early). Well worth

A fabulous introduction to Spain.

A lot of Brits go to Spain for their holidays but we left it until we were 54 years old to try it for the first time. We chose Malaga in the south on the Costa del Sol as we reasonably assumed that the weather would be nice in mid spring. We went with Jet 2 holidays and chose the H10 Croma Malaga as our base.
What a beautiful hotel. We walked through the entrance, in to a modern lobby and met by well dressed and friendly hotel staff. Check in was very smooth and we were allocated room 410. The room was large, with a king size bed, with 3 pillow options, a walk in shower and a lovely balcony with 2 seats and a table overlooking part of the city and over towards the mountains in the north. As you would expect, the room was fully equipped with a safe, mini bar, and tea and coffee making facilities. There is plenty of storage and the bathroom had a large sink with Rituals products and bathrobes if required.
Breakfast was included in the price and it is hands down the best hotel Breakfast I have ever had. Lots of options from hot and cold, sweet and savoury. There is a lobby bar which we used a couple of times but there is also a rooftop bar and restaurant which has fabulous views across the city.
But the thing that made the hotel experience was the staff. I found every single person I spoke to be very friendly and helpful, and always with a smile on their face. I tried to use my nursery school level Spanish a couple of times but always had to revert back to English which the staff spoke fluently.
They do say that first impressions last, and because of our experience at this hotel and our visit to Malaga we are already planning a return in September 2027. Viva Espana!

Fantastic hotel, great location and friendly staff

We just spent 4 nights at H10 Croma Malaga. It was perfect in every way. We arrived early but left our bags and went to have a tapas lunch in their bar next door. By the time we had finished they had phoned me to say our room was ready, an hour early. The room was great, very comfortable bed, great shower, bathrobes and an espresso machine. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Particularly liked the rooftop bar and you can eat at the bar or in the restaurant. We liked the bar! We were also given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate a birthday which was a lovely touch. Hotel is also just a 5 minute walk from train station so a very easy journey from the airport. It was also very close to all the meeting points in town where the tours started and close to restaurants etc. Ill definitely stay at H10 Corona hotels again.
