Good stay at the H10 Tribeca
UncleDom
Stayed for 2 nights at the H10 Tribeca while on a trip to Madrid and had a pleasant stay. The nearest stop on the metro is Cuzco as the station at Santiago Bernabeu is currently closed, its about a 5 minute walk so not too far.
Checkin was quick and offered a glass of cava which was appreciated and a nice touch. Room was on the second floor facing the street but its a quiet area so I did not hear any noise during the night, also the windows open should you want some fresh air ( in most hotels they are firmly shut)
The room was a nice size, the bed clean and very comfortable, the AC was too good so I had to turn it off as it was cold in the night but during the summer Im sure it would be very welcome. Plenty of wardrobe space and an area to place your luggage too, the furniture was dated and scuffed in places but fit for purpose. There is a safe and minibar/small fridge too along with a coffee machine.
The bathroom was clean and tidy, plenty of towels and the shower was easy to use. Soap and shampoo dispensers were fixed to the wall. Overall the room itself was quite nice and meet my needs for a short weekend stay.
Breakfast was included and served on the ground floor just past the bar area. Nice selection of hot and cold items ( you could ask for fresh fried eggs) The fruit, cold meats and pastry choices were very good, lots to choose from so. Breakfast is served until 11 at the weekend but dont get down too late as items are not refilled.
Although the location of the hotel is not city center, it was relaxing to stay the H10 Tribeca. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance such as The Irish Rover pub and La Tahona. The rest of the city is a short metro ride away. Also there is big shopping complex at nearby Nuevos Ministerios where there is a big El Corte Inglés department store as well as a Zara and a fabulous Mango store.

Nice hotel, but a distance from the older section of Madrid

This hotel has taxis ready and waiting outside the door most of the time. We found this helpful, as we were interested in visiting the Prado Museum and the older section of the city. We walked back one day after visiting the Prado and it was a little over 3 miles. This was fine once, but to go back and forth into the tourist area (especially at night) it was difficult and necessary to use taxis. Just be aware of its location to what you are interested in seeing.
Our room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. There is a gym available to use. The breakfast had a good selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, and much more.
We ate a light dinner at the hotel restaurant. The service was very good and the food was just what we needed.

Amazing experience

Everything was amazing, the location of the hotel was just perfect cause my aim was to attend football matches in the Bernabéu, so the stadium was only few minutes walking from the hotel. The area was great with everything available around you. The room was great and clean with great size too. The staff were friendly and great. Surprisingly the speed of the WiFi was super good
Nothing TBH I didnt like, maybe I was interested in the terrace they had on the roof to chill but unfortunately it was under maintenance.

Great location, comfortable room!

The hotel itself was in a great location especially close to the football stadium. It had extremely easy access to the metro links also. The room which we had was quite noisy at night due to being next to a maintenance cupboard with a loud boiler but the rooms themselves were spacious, clean and comfortable. After reading other reviews we were disappointed that we were not offered a welcome drink after seeing that others have been given this?! We would stay here again We would just ask for a room not next to the maintenance rooms.
