H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens, Lanzarote

Another great trip to a wonderful H10 hotel. We stayed for 7 days all inclusive and honestly, this was one of the best holidays we have had as a family. All aspects of the hotel, service and animation team were up to the usual high H10 standards. Cleanliness was excellent and the food and drinks offerings were superb. The helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel were the icing on the cake. Will certainly be booking again soon.

I stayed here for seven nights, half-board, in August 2024. It is a beautiful hotel, we especially enjoyed the entertainment and the swimming pool. Sunbeds were always available, though it might have been because we usually approached the pool in the late afternoon, when most of the other guests had vanished. The restaurant boasted a dinner menu of impressive variety. At breakfast, I prefer to confine myself to cereal, but the cooked items were plentiful and meticulously arranged. Our daughter, who has food allergies, found support in the attentions of Maria and Pablo, who were extraordinarily helpful in accommodating her needs. We learned it was best to consult them a day in advance, and in accordance with the changes in the menu. The commonly encountered music in Lanzarote was noticeably different to the other parts of Spain I have visited. I mean this not as a criticism as it is probably understandable for those more familiar than I, but if you anticipate the vibrant, haunting melodies of Spanish guitar and the rhythmic pulse of flamenco then this is the exception. Expect plenty of English pop songs; invariably 30 to 50 year old relics from a bygone era. Like many British supermarkets, Lanzarote has anchored its music in a distant past. Prior to our arrival, we had requested a refurbished family room, complete with a large, roofless balcony, for an additional ten euros per night, to be paid upon arrival. We were, indeed, pleased with the room, which had a good shower, ample storage, and a commodious bedroom and living room. Located on the third floor, it was perpetually windy, and each morning, when we opened the door, the sea breeze hit us with an energising force. Make sure to wedge the door hanger into the doorway as you close it lest it will blow away! Beneath the kitchenette worktop was a fridge freezer alongside a bin cupboard. Two matters required careful consideration. Firstly, we kept all the internal doors closed at night, particularly the bin cupboard door and the doors to the kitchenette. Secondly, the kitchenette worktop was not suitable for food storage or for keeping anything used in the preparation of meals. It is strictly a place for washing up. Within a short walking distance, there were numerous supermarkets such as Hyperdino Express and Spa. As for excursions outside the hotel, several places stood out for us: Portobello, a family-run Italian restaurant just two minutes away, really helpful when it comes to allergies Jungle River Crazy Golf - four-minute walk away. Playa de Cucuras, six minutes away, a beautiful beach, and a promenade that ran alongside it with restaurants and shops, ideal for twilight strolls. Playa del Jablillo an 18-minute walk as we took a scenic route a path that required passing through Playa de Cucuras. A small sandy beach, surrounded by rocks, where fish swam fearlessly around our feet, untroubled by our presence. Aquapark, a five-minute drive away, was accessible via a taxi, which the reception could summon speedily for 4.5 euros. The full day there seemed only to suit older children; our young daughter could not endure beyond half a day. Rancho Texas involved a 20-minute shuttle ride, leaving from across the nearby Los Zocos hotel at 9:15 a.m. This is a must-see animal park with parrot and dolphin shows and a splash zone. Puerto del Carmen could be reached by taking the number 3 bus from directly outside the hotel a journey of an hour or more. Good for shopping, it also has a beach, and, that rarity in Lanzarote, a McDonalds! We really enjoyed our time at Lanzarote Gardens. It was a pleasure to be around such friendly staff and so many happy families, all of which reflected a generally joyful atmosphere throughout our stay.

Our experience and stay at this hotel was amazing!! We were a party of 3 (2 adults and one 15yr old) We up graded yo a bu halos so the 15yr old could have her own space at night time and found it great to have a kitchenette area and full size fridge to keep our own drinks and snacks. We found there was lots of choice in the restaurants, even for a fussy 15yr old with pre cooked dishes as well as fresh eggs, pancakes and cuts of meat cooked fresh from the grill We opted to stay half board but found there were lots of restaurants, bars and shops near by so opted to swop or evening meal for lunch and try one of the restaurants in the evening. Our package didnt include drinks but found them reasonably priced. I have to say even though we didnt have small children it looked like the kids club looked amazing with lots of activities to do in and around the pool and of an evening it was lovely to see the arts and crafts displayed that they had made that day. We stayed a couple of times for the evening entertainment and me being one that usually avoids the evening entertainment I was very impressed with it and actually wanted to stay and watch, well done blue team you did a brilliant job!!! All the staff were so helpful and friendly and couldnt do enough for us!!! We would definitely come back again!!!

Another superb holiday. We first came here 15 years ago with small children and have been back every year. The friendly staff can’t do enough for you and really do go the extra mile to make your holiday extra special. We now visit as a couple and feel superbly relaxed from the first moment we enter the hotel. If you are reading this then don’t hesitate to book…you will have the best time ever.
