Definitely aimed at families with younger kids. The mini-disco is a bit hectic but the animation team do well. Food was good, nothing great but enough to keep you fed. We were half board so ate out during the day which was a nice break. You can swap the evening meal to the lunchtime, we did it one day but found it disappointing so stuck with the evening meals. Restaurant can be manic at times. Fair play to the staff as they do a good job in between the chaos. Our room was a bit dated but clean and in a quieter part of the resort which was good. Location is a positive as there is a mini shopping centre over the road and then the beach just beyond that. Overall a good stay at this hotel but unlikely to visit again.

2 adults and a 2 year old

Location is ok. Opposite lots of shops that sell tat and knock off gucci purses, and some low hygiene rated looking restaurants including and Indian, Chinese and British cafe style which we didnt bother to try out. But theres lots to look at and theres an aquarium near we have yet to go to. The hotel is really clean! Its very pretty at night with all the lights. Deffo looks 4 star and is really well maintained. The rooms are ok. We opted for a family room with a sofa bed which was incredibly uncomfortable. The bed in the main room was super squeaky but they sorted it out the same day we told them about it and gave us a new mattress. Children: they supplied us with a new looking comfortable large travel cot which was perfect for our 2 year old. She sleeps in a bed at home but was happy sleeping in it anyway. They also supplied us with guard rails in case she needed to sleep in the bed. Theres entertainment for 3+ children Monday - Saturday and a baby club for 6m - 2yr which is Monday - Friday. So on the Saturday when it was pouring with rain, there wasnt anything for her to do. They wouldnt open the baby room so she could access the toys and she wasnt allowed with the other children that are 3+ who had entertainment provided for them. I thought they could at least make an exception or have rainy day activities for under 3s. The food was very varied. So much choice! But no plastic cutlery for the toddlers. They had 3 pools that were fantastic. 2 were heated. Main points: Really good for families. They should do more on weekends for under 3s

The best hotel in Costa teguise

Another superb holiday. We first came here 15 years ago with small children and have been back every year. The friendly staff can’t do enough for you and really do go the extra mile to make your holiday extra special. We now visit as a couple and feel superbly relaxed from the first moment we enter the hotel. If you are reading this then don’t hesitate to book…you will have the best time ever.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful staff, great food, gorgeous setting

We are just back from spending the UK October half term in this hotel and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is gorgeous, set in beautiful gardens. The rooms are very nice, we were in la Gomera, beside the kids playground which was nice and quiet, perfect for us. The reception staff are so accommodating if you want a ground floor or quiet room - e-mail the hotel and ask ahead. The room had a small kitchen and a sofa bed and pull out bed for our two children. Housekeeping staff kept our room in perfect condition, so much appreciated. We went all inclusive which is a great option, good value. The buffets are really great, amazing choice every day. I am allergic to gluten and the chef came out and gave me a tour of the buffet at every meal, making it clear what I could and could not eat and despite my allergy I had great choice, there was very little off limits (apart from chips and pasta which I can eat at home anyway!). Lovely Canarian and Moroccan dishes, (and plenty of European/British food if that's what you want) gorgeous salads and the highlight for my children - the chocolate fountain!! Amazing cakes and desserts too, ice cream by the scoop with lots of sprinkles. What really makes this hotel so special is the staff. All across the hotel the staff are so, so friendly and very helpful. The dining room staff are so busy and work so hard but always have time for a laugh and a joke or to help out if there is a query or a problem. Special shout out to Maria in the dining room who was so lovely, but the whole team are great and keep everything in there flowing so smoothly. The staff in the bars are also very lovely and accommodating and also have time for a chat or a joke. The evening entertainment is also excellent. Mini disco a big hit with Daisy the hotel mascot but the shows afterwards are very family friendly and the hotel staff work so hard to put on a great performance - singing and dancing every night plus a couple of external performers on a couple of nights too who were great. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to a lovely beach and shops/bars/restaurants and there is a bus stop directly outside with good connections. Ignore the people who have said some negative things in their reviews about the hotel, some people will find fault with anything, you would never find somewhere of this standard in the UK - this is a fantastic place for a holiday with your family.
