Fantastic family holiday

We stayed here as a family of 7, 5 adults and 2 children (5 and 8). My husband and I have stayed in H10 adults only hotels before, this was a first at a family hotel. The hotel was excellent for all ages, the rooms clean and well maintained. We had 3 rooms which were all next door to each other. One room was available when we checked in so we were able to leave all our luggage together, use the bathroom, get changed. The children had a wonderful time in the pool everyday. The eldest went to the maxi club and had a great time. We played bingo every evening, there was a mini disco and an evening show. The all inclusive buffet was the best we have had in a long time. Food variations every evening. A separate buffet for children if they wanted it. Ice cream and chocolate fountains also available. All inclusive drinks included premium spirits - a first in a long time. Cocktails were freshly made. The staff were very friendly and plentiful. No dirty plates left on tables, floors cleaned when needed. The grounds were immaculate (something which H10 does very well). Shops, beach and restaurants within easy walking distance and the promenade stretches for miles if you like to walk. I wouldn't say this is a hotel for adults holidaying alone (we wouldn't choose it) but would definitely return with the family.

Fantastic break with excellent service

We had a fantastic visit here and were so impressed. Highlights: -The service is excellent, staff were friendly and welcoming in all areas - housekeeping, entertainment, restaurant staff, reception. Including being provided with toddler equipment that wasn't listed on their website when asked. There were hardly any queues at the pool bar or restaurant. - Exercise classes were great and the gym was well equipped and a nice space. - My eldest really enjoyed the junior club, I also thought they did a good job of making activities such as water polo and football fine for kids to join in who didn't want to leave their parents. -The bar drinks menu of inclusive drinks is extensive with branded spirits and mixers. - There was a lovely spread at the buffet, we loved the freshly cooked option. Spanish, Mexican and Italian nights were favourites. My kids loved being able to help themselves from the child level ship table. - The location was really interesting, seeing so many volcanos made for a really unique holiday. The hotel is a fantastic base for some great days out with very different beaches a short walk away, and Timanfeya and Jameos del Agua a short drive away. - One member of staff in particular in the restaurant staff would always laugh and joke with my kids and really made our stay. - The rooms are well equipped, having an empty fridge and microwave was helpful. A small touch, but I loved how there was a large drying rack and with the breezy weather clothes always dried quickly. I also liked how the hotel had a box to share pool toys and buckets etc. Where it could do better: - Cocktails were too sweet for my tastes made by machine so I couldn't ask for alterations. No big deal but this might lead me to choose half board next time. - Whilst we were there, mini and maxi clubs were combined, this meant that one day when my 8yo wanted to give kids club a try, he was in a club with mostly 4yos and no one his age which wasn't appropriate. It's not the hotels fault as I think they were combined due to poor take up of the clubs, but something to be aware of.

The best hotel in Costa teguise

Another superb holiday. We first came here 15 years ago with small children and have been back every year. The friendly staff can’t do enough for you and really do go the extra mile to make your holiday extra special. We now visit as a couple and feel superbly relaxed from the first moment we enter the hotel. If you are reading this then don’t hesitate to book…you will have the best time ever.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful staff, great food, gorgeous setting

We are just back from spending the UK October half term in this hotel and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is gorgeous, set in beautiful gardens. The rooms are very nice, we were in la Gomera, beside the kids playground which was nice and quiet, perfect for us. The reception staff are so accommodating if you want a ground floor or quiet room - e-mail the hotel and ask ahead. The room had a small kitchen and a sofa bed and pull out bed for our two children. Housekeeping staff kept our room in perfect condition, so much appreciated. We went all inclusive which is a great option, good value. The buffets are really great, amazing choice every day. I am allergic to gluten and the chef came out and gave me a tour of the buffet at every meal, making it clear what I could and could not eat and despite my allergy I had great choice, there was very little off limits (apart from chips and pasta which I can eat at home anyway!). Lovely Canarian and Moroccan dishes, (and plenty of European/British food if that's what you want) gorgeous salads and the highlight for my children - the chocolate fountain!! Amazing cakes and desserts too, ice cream by the scoop with lots of sprinkles. What really makes this hotel so special is the staff. All across the hotel the staff are so, so friendly and very helpful. The dining room staff are so busy and work so hard but always have time for a laugh and a joke or to help out if there is a query or a problem. Special shout out to Maria in the dining room who was so lovely, but the whole team are great and keep everything in there flowing so smoothly. The staff in the bars are also very lovely and accommodating and also have time for a chat or a joke. The evening entertainment is also excellent. Mini disco a big hit with Daisy the hotel mascot but the shows afterwards are very family friendly and the hotel staff work so hard to put on a great performance - singing and dancing every night plus a couple of external performers on a couple of nights too who were great. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to a lovely beach and shops/bars/restaurants and there is a bus stop directly outside with good connections. Ignore the people who have said some negative things in their reviews about the hotel, some people will find fault with anything, you would never find somewhere of this standard in the UK - this is a fantastic place for a holiday with your family.
