H10 Taburiente Playa, La Palma

Absolutely amazing

Here is my honest review Arrived to the quickest check in ever and given a map to find our room. The suites are amazing so big. 2 comfy beds with massive pillows. Tv in room. Bathroom big and shower powerful. Nice touch having shower gel shampoo and conditioner provided. Large living room area and another TV. Leading on to a beautiful spacious balcony. We were lucky to overlook the sea. Cleaned daily bathrobes and slippers provided and chocolates left every day. Pool areas clean and never a problem with loungers. No morning rush as always availability. The restaurant is clean tidy and the staff work hard. An abundance of food choices of high quality. There were 2 meat choices and a fish choice each evening in the show chef section. Salads vegetables pastas soup cheese biscuits fruit cakes the list was endless. The staff worked so hard to keep filling up there was never an empty dish. Always found a table and nice to be served drinks to your table. The entrance area to the restaurant was unbelievable absolutely amazing even waterfalls. Omelettes cooked fresh each morning quality fruit juices and smoothies. You have so much choice. Bar areas are great a little dark in places at night if you want to play cards. Drinks of premium quality even Irish coffee and cocktails included. The entire hotel was so shiny clean at all times. No smoking hotel throughput but there is just a small smoking area which was great not to smell cigarettes all over although there was a minority of people vaping around the pool and bar area which was a shame as the majority used the designated area. I loved the fact it was a no smoking hotel and clean air zone. 5 mins from airport great to watch the planes and not noisy. You can walk to Santa Cruz in about 50 minutes the steps are steep on the way. 1e50 on the bus that stops by the pharmacy and great bus connection to parts of the island from Santa Cruz. A beautiful island quite unspoilt with tourism hiking cycling walking and if you drive a great place to hire a car. The hotel is relaxed and it was great not to see any loud or drunk groups and so quiet at night. Would have liked to see a dress code in the evening in the restaurant as it was a little too relaxed. Highly recommend this hotel and the island well done H10 you excelled my expectations. I will definitely come back to both hotel and beautiful island and hope it stays as it is without bars and nightclubs as its a little gem of a get away Thank you to all staff snd management for our memorable stay

Great experience

Lovely hotel, food and staff! Great location for activities and very close to the airport - we loved watching the planes. Views of the Capital and the surrounding geological structures from the hotel are incredible. There is also limited light pollution here so the stargazing was amazing when walking down to the beach on a clear night. Clean and tidy rooms, cleaning service was great. Overall can't recommend enough!

lovely stay on a beautiful island

the hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport so it can be a little noisy when planes are landing, but it was fun to watch them from our balcony. on arrival we checked in and we were greeted by Amelia (she was so lovely and helpful), we got straight into our room which was very nice. we gave this hotel a 4/5 , the rooms and the hotel itself was very nice and clean but in terms of an all inclusive the food was a bit average. as a vegetarian - the lay out doesnt make much sense, meat dishes are placed behind the vegetarian items meaning on 3 occasions i found meat in my food because it had dropped into the non meat dishes when people were serving themselves. it would make more sense to have meat dishes and non meat dishes separate to prevent this. the food does have a single label per item for example chicken with rice but it doesnt state the other ingredients or wether something is V so you just have to guess. however on the last day of our stay we did see some vegetarian labels so maybe the hotel is doing more to show this. on a separate occasion my boyfriend was also served a raw pork kebab so that was a tad off putting too. the AI drinks were fab and the bar tenders were all lovely, some reviews say staff were rude but we found everyone to be pleasant. in terms of location, there is a lovely beach about 5 min walk away and there is some beautiful paths you can walk down around the hotel. there was a great pizza place called el geco too (very cheap but yum). there is a SPAR mini supermarket right next door to the hotel which was great too. there were 4 pools, 2 cold but 1 was heated which was nice. there is a tennis court behind the hotel which is free to use and helped us keep our fitness up as well as a small but well equipped gym downstairs. over all, we did have a really nice stay here and we would recommend this hotel.

A Truly Authentic and Wonderful Stay at H10 Taburiente Playa From the moment we arrived for our 14-night holiday, we felt a sense of calm and genuine cultural immersion at the H10 Taburiente Playa. As a UK family, we instantly appreciated being in the minority, surrounded by Spanish guests from the mainland and other Canary Islands. This created a truly authentic atmosphere that allowed us to feel like we were truly experiencing another culture, not just another tourist resort. The hotel served as a fantastic base camp for our young family to explore the stunning island of La Palma with our hire car. The staff's dedication and warmth were a consistent highlight of our trip. They are all incredibly hard-working, yet they always served with a smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were particularly grateful for the exceptional service from Juan, Pedro, Daniel, David, and Yessica, who consistently went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable. Mealtime was a delight, with the delicious food and a wide variety of options. Even our picky small children were soon trying something new and delicious dailya testament to the quality and appeal of the menu. The hotel also kept us and the kids entertained with regular daytime activities, including pool foam parties and inflatable slides, which were a fun and welcome touch. Beyond the hotel, we explored some of the island's most beautiful spots. We were captivated by the breathtaking capital, Santa Cruz, and the amazing views from Mirador el Time. A day trip to the sea pools at Charco Azul was fabulous, and we found the facility at Volcán San Antonio to be an incredible way to learn about the island's volcanic history. A special and unexpected highlight for our football-mad son was the II TORNEO U19 BONITA Cantepro tournament. It was a fantastic experience to watch some amazing football and to have many of the players staying at our hotel. In all, we absolutely loved our holiday. We're already planning our return and now completely understand why La Palma is affectionately known as "Isla Bonita."
