One word is enough for the beginning and ending of our review .. FABULOUS. Our visit was 10 days with an Oceanview room 4th floor. Lovely view from the balcony. All amenities are easily accessible. If assistance is needed theyll look after you. Oceanfront (different from Oceanview) rooms required you to have Privilege services which are additional costs.
Beaches are small and abbreviated when compared to Cuba. Winds were up most days so we didnt use our snorkeling gear.
Bring your water shoes for ocean dips and youll be fine.
The main pool is world class. It measures 75m and is perfect for lengths and socializing.
We really liked all of the restaurants and the buffet. Blue Moon was our favourite. The Japanese restaurant turned out a superior meal but it is very noisy .. chefs are very exuberant with their cooking tools.
The two resorts are cleverly linked by a promenade outdoor mall with a few vendors and musicians variously. Its always a happening upbeat scene.
Fellow travellers, Jamaica is recovering with strength and pride from the severe wallop they took in late October. We tipped extra and left items for them to share with their families. We were beyond inspired by their ongoing efforts. Jamaican smiles are contagious and huge bundles of gratitude from your Canadian friends.
