Tashoy was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and generous. Her level of hospitality was so exceptional that it genuinely brought me to tears. I rarely revisit destinations once Ive traveled somewhere new, but Tashoy completely changed that for me. I would absolutely consider returning to Jamaica, and specifically to Ocean Eden Bay, simply because of the outstanding care and genuine kindness she showed throughout my stay. She made my experience truly unforgettable, and I cant thank her enough.

We love our 12 day stay at the Ocean Eden Bay!
Room: room was very modern and lots of space/storage. Cleaners always did an excellent job cleaning we just wished there was more of a rotation with cleaning times. Quite often we would come back to the room at 4/4:30pm to get ready for dinner and had to sit on the balcony waiting for the room to be cleaned.
Beach:
We saw lots of negative reviews beforehand about the beach being rocky. The privilege section of the beach had no rocks/sea grass and we could walk in this section with no water shoes on. Be careful however at night as I ended up with 40 sand fly bites on my feet/ankles after taking photos on the beach at night. Bring bug spray with deet (the normal stuff didnt work)
Pool:
The pool is huge! No sunbed wars here, some days we didnt come down to the pool until later (10/10:30am) and always got loungers at our preferred area in the pool. Lots of shallow ledges in the pool where you can sit.
Food:
This is one of the first all inclusives we have been where we didnt struggle to eat. We are both fussy eaters but always had full plates and a variety of different foods. We tried the steakhouse which was lovely. There is limited steak types available but we still enjoyed our meal here. We also tried the Italian and again throughly enjoyed our meal here.
Drinks:
There is a wide variety of drinks and cocktails available. We asked for cocktails not on the menu and bartenders were more than happy to make these for us. Definitely try the bob marley cocktail. The only downside was at night you could only get frozen cocktails in the lobby.
Entertainment:
The entertainment team were very friendly and made an effort to approach tables and conversations with guests. We did find there was a lack of tables outside at the entertainment areas at night which made it difficult to watch and we often didnt see anything. We also werent always aware where the entertainment was being held as there were no locations on the entertainment board.
Staff:
Staff were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond.
Sports Bar:
Sports bar was very cool and had 2 pool tables which we enjoyed using. Got busy at times but staff always served quickly. We were there during the World Cup and did have some problems getting this on the TVs which was a pain as there are 7 TVs in total. Being from Scotland we wanted to watch our first game against Haiti as did some other English couples also in these sports bar. This unfortunately was on at the same time as a big basketball game and was difficult for us to get the staff to stick it on a tv for us as they catered more to the American guests. Staff kept saying they would stick it on when it started but then didnt which led to us and other couples repeatedly having to go up and ask and it being put on late. For our second game we also had issues as staff were claiming to not know how to work the TVs and then proceeded to stick the game on the 1 tv that was broken and kept freezing. We seen this happen for an England game also which left a lot of guests unhappy and not even bothering to watch it in the sports bar. Its obviously not the end of the world but was disappointing as we felt American guests were being prioritised and as there are 7 TVs theres no reason why 2 things cant be showing at once.
