H10 Playa Meloneras Horizons Collection, Gran Canaria

Needed a relaxing sun break after a long year of working hard . This place fits just perfect . Seriously cant be faulted in anyway. Quite a big complex and it took a day or so to find our way around efficiently. The food and drinks were of a great standard. Everything served in a polite manner . Fresh cuts of meat were cooked to your preferred taste so as fresh as could be. The various pools were heated so no cold water shock . The rooms were clean and tidy . All in all a super place and would visit again.

This review is written late as I wasnt allowed another review within the time frame limit!,we stayed again at this wonderful hotel for 2 weeks beginning of September,from the time you arrive at reception you are greeted with a wam welcome usually from Adrian,check in is a very easy process with a lovely welcome drink and snacks,I must point out how helpful guest services are,we had a couple of minor issues that were resolved in a very professional manner,I must especially mention Kathleen who is very very professional and is an asset to the hotel,we have been coming here for many years and she has been so helpful in many aspects,this hotel is 10 out of 10 in every way,especially the new restaurant which we found absolutely great,we will continue to visit as much as we can,back in may 2026!,the restaurants,the staff,the ambeience make this hotel,so many staff to mention,Borja,Sylvia,allesandro,Samir,Natan,Carmello,souliman,Jessica,marta,Africa,manu,Sergio,fernando,and everyone else Ive not named,also big thanks to yves in management,you have been very helpful,the standard of the rooms is fantastic and the housekeepers go over and beyond with there duties,one of the best hotels in Gran Canaria,been coming here for 40 years now!

We had a lovely week away in October had been here once before in pre-Covid days. The hotel was as nice as we remembered. Quiet, never a battle to get a parasol and sun Ed. Staff are polite and friendly, rooms are kept extremely clean. Food was very varied. The La Brasserie was superb staff and good and we were treated with a glorious sunset. Only one little niggle - flight was at 1830 checkout at 12 midday. We were provided with a lunch and drink but if we wanted a coffee and /or soft drink after the lunch period this had to be paid for as our AI package stopped. Felt this was a bit mean as we didnt arrive to late evening on our arrival night.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We are lucky enough to have travelled the world many times. We usually choose a hotel at least in the top 10 of TripAdvisor if not top 5. But we liked the look of this one and was mixed reviews here and on Google. We decided to go for it and try it for ourselves.....we have now popped it on our top 5 hotels ever! We decided to upgrade to the privilege level before we arrived and I'm so glad we did. We loved the privilege infinity pool, it was super peaceful. Brilliant you can help yourself to drinks. As Privilege you can eat all your meals in the Al La Carte restaurants.... I have to say this was some of the nicest food we have eaten (not far off cruise ship level food) We favoured La Brassiere on an evening and the service was great, the staff really do look after you. Lunch in the Naturalia was in a really nice setting and again the staff are brilliant. The Tropical chill out bar for sunset is very nice. We loved the walk to Meloneras and to the dunes in a morning for sunrise, it wasn't that far we probably reached the shops in around 10 minutes along the promenade. The staff all stop and say hello which is lovely. The privilege rooms are very nice we stayed on level 5 over looking the privilege pool with a beautiful sea view. My only criticism would be .... the floors don't get swept/hoovered and started to get a bit dusty/sandy towards the end of our stay. We were really sad to leave last night and can't wait to return.
