H10 Costa Mogán, Gran Canaria

Lovely size room, junior suite with sea view. Food good quality and variety. Staff efficient and polite. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Myself & my friend (35 yr olds) have just got back from a long weekend here. We wanted a relaxing break & we definitely got that. This was our first adults only hotel & there was a mixture of all ages there. No complaints with drinks or food. The selection of cocktails was amazing & all are included with all inclusive. Was lovely having a live saxophone player one morning for breakfast. Would have been nice to listen to him in the evening instead of the same karaoke style singers with the same songs most evenings. Food was varied & themed. Not sure if there was a board anywhere saying what food themes were on each night but we couldn't find it. Some food & sauces were also not labelled so was a guessing game sometimes. It was always hot & tastey though. We had a junior suite which was very spacious with comfortable beds & pillows & cool air con. I had emailed the hotel well before our stay to request a double bed & the sofa bed to be made up for our arrival, which they replied saying they would sort, but it hadn't been arranged & was too late for them to sort which was disappointing. Noticed another review saying requests hadn't been arranged when they were told they would be so that could be improved. The beds were twins which we just pushed apart in the end. Also if you do want to sleep separately, the sofa bed in the lounge doesn't have a black out blind so it is very light in that part. Christian is always full of energy & tells you what's on the entertainment program for the day. Aquagym is so much fun. Didn't do anything else & we were there to relax. Roof top terrace was beaut, we went up there most afternoons for a couples of hours for extra cocktails in the sun. We got a private transfer with shuttlespain which I highly recommend. Saved us so much time, the passengers on the bus arrived about an hour after us. You can have a little walk around, you're not completely isolated at all here. Lots of crabs & lizards around the rocks. We would come again.

Check-In - Was a great experience... friendly, informative, stress-free & quick. Special shout out to Ina who was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Food & Restaurants - The buffet restaurant was well-stocked, with plenty of choice. TBH I've stayed at places with more choice but the choices here were certainly sufficient and the food was always fresh and well-cooked. Similarly the pool bar also offered a choice of snacks if you didn't want to eat indoors during the day. The Fusion (Tapas) Restaurant was really nice - The food was very well cooked and the service was excellent (another shout out to the lady who served us - I didn't get her name unfortunately but she was very attentive and friendly). The Roof Top Bar was superb - relaxed, great views and a lovely place to have a few sundowners in the late afternoon. There were also sunbeds in this bar so you could also pick up a tan whilst enjoying a cocktail. Rooms - We had a ground floor Junior Suite with Sea View - it was pool side so was very convenient during the day. The room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed (a bit weird having a glass-walled bathroom but the glass is frosted so modesty can be maintained if required). The bed was very comfortable and I slept well, even though I suffer with lower back pain. Finally, the room was cleaned every day, always to a good standard. Entertainment - This was a bit mixed. Four of our seven nights were excellent, one was ok and the other two just weren't our cup of tea. Service - I really couldn't fault it. Everyone was really friendly and helpful - no exceptions. But.... especially good were Marta and Zelena who went the extra mile to make our stay special. Location - Costa Mogan is quite small and there aren't many places outside the hotel. That said, just up the road there are a few bars and restaurants including an Irish Bar which offers good value and friendly service. It's worth noting that this hotel is in Costa Mogan and not Puerto de Mogan, which is a bus ride away, further down the coast. Worth a visit though. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at H10 Costa Mogan and my wife and I will almost certainly return. Being Adults Only is a definite plus point but there is a separate apartment block attached to the hotel which is NOT Adults Only and is well-used by families especially at the weekends. I have to say, I'm looking forward to going back soon.

I am very happy with the experience. The hotel is very well located, very quiet and the facilities are well maintained. The animation (with Cristian) has been unbeatable. I have enjoyed the activities that were given daily. The service of the pool bar like the restaurant has also been very satisfactory. We will certainly repeat again.
