H10 Tindaya, Fuerteventura

Fantastic holiday

Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at the Tindaya. We had a fantastic time when we revisited the hotel in March. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and has fantastic rooms and outside space. We really enjoyed the Privilege benefits especially our amazing room and the lovely breakfasts in Aliosos. We would definitely return as we had no complaints at all. Fantastic food, lovely rooms and staffed by a great professional, smiley and helpful team.

Excellent

We stayed for ten nights last May in a privilege junior suite with terrace and found the H10 Tindaya to be an excellent all-round hotel. We have stayed at many H10 hotels before, some five times but I would highly recommend the Tindaya, it does not exceed in every aspect, but it does not let you down in any aspect either. From arriving at reception and being greeted by Samual Martinez, who is by far the best front of house employee I have had the pleasure of meeting at any H10 hotel! everything just seemed to work, Samual could not do enough for us throughout our stay and was a breath of fresh air compared to the reception staff at our last H01 hotel only a few months earlier. The room was a good size, well proportioned, spotlessly clean and well maintained, a great terrace with full sun and a sea view. The restaurants where excellent, we always had breakfast in the Alisios, lunch in the Betancuria and evening meal in either the Alissios or route 66, never disappointed with the quality or service and any restaurant. We found the privilege lounge to be comfortable and more than adequate with the variety of drinks and snacks available, we only use the solarium once but it was nicely set out with limited drinks available for self-service. The entertainment was as expected at mainstream hotels, with this being a family hotel the children certainly enjoyed the early evening sessions with Daisy, though the entertainment room was rather busy the bar people worked tirelessly to ensure you never waited for long, oh, did I mention Voll Damm on draught, excellent! The grounds are well maintained and though there was work being carried out on the pool bar area this was of no inconvenience, the hotel is in a nice position to have a walk around the beach or along the paved area. Overall an excellent hotel, great location, a decent privilege package, great room option, exceptional food and service, the staff are just excellent, we will certainly return and are hoping that our visit to another H10 in Mexico in six week’s time can complete with the service given at the Tindaya.

Few issues but overall good hotel

Solo holiday (female) ... hotel is good for solo travellers. I went off peak in March 2023. Food was delicious plenty of variety, bit annoying you have to book your dinner time( &even then it's still busy) The coffee shop outside Mikes wow this place was my favourite.. do try! Great entertainment was the best I've seen in spain/canaries actually. Good wine prosecco and all drinks nice. Rooms good , comfy bed and gardens clean and well maintained. Overall good hotel and good staff. Beautiful views and stunning grounds. Cons: Paying to have your towels changed not good and paying for a safe?! Bars extremely understaffed takes so long for a drink inside and out. Pools need some tlc. There were cochroaches! I only saw in downstairs toilets. Not enough seating In the buffet area or the entertainment room/bar. Having to pay extra if you check out late to continue using facilities drinks and food. Pool snacks need to be covered better birds coming in. This place is not 4 star more 3 star. However I would return. I have stayed at pajara beach next door previously which was a bit better.

A nice holiday

Having enjoyed an H10 hotel experience on mainland Spain last February my wife and I chose the Tindaya in the hope it would be as good an experience. The location was as expected and allowed some good beach time. First time in the sea for years. Meals provided were enjoyable and varied. However I will endorse other views as to plates etc not being cleared from tables quickly enough despite staff’s efforts. It would be unfair to mark down our experience on this basis. Room as anticipated with a nice firm mattress. Reception staff great as were all staff. Route 66 dinner very good. Mikes coffee shop a nice feature but again lack of staff creates queueing and uncleared tables. Fully aware limited activity locally on booking but did visit the zoo which is well worth a visit. Would return to this hotel if we returned to Island. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
