H10 Tindaya, Fuerteventura

Another five stars for the hotel that is becoming a second home. So, since my last review in May of 2024 has anything changed? We went with the privilege option again as we have always been happy with the little extras it provides. The private swimming area is most excellent with access to chilled drinks and water. I can understand why the extra deep sunbed covers are no longer available, but they were very comfortable while they lasted. The staff with a just a few new faces are as welcoming, helpful, and polite as always. They all work very hard and deserve full credit for how they represent the H10 brand. I was particularly impressed and very pleased with the effort made by the reception staff (David and your colleague whose name I cannot recall, sorry) who managed to help with connecting my laptop to the hotel network; we got there in the end. At this time of year, late September, the hotel was not over busy and there was little if any time when we had to wait for service. The hotel was quiet and restful being out of the school holiday period, so no change here. The rooms are again spotless and cleaned each day. The Mini bar, tea/coffee supplies, towels and bathroom / shower essentials etc., are all kept fully stocked and replaces as required. The air conditioner worked perfectly and was simple to operate. The door lock key cards work fine, just keep them away from your mobile phone or it will wipe the card. A trip to reception and it will be corrected. The food in the main buffet area was fantastic, even better than last year!. In fact, it was so good that we ate there more times than in the Privilege Ala-Carte Alisios restaurant. Alisios serves excellent food, no question there, but there is less choice and the menu is the same each day. A mix of both eating places worked well. We did not eat at Route 66 as we have done this before, and although tempted, the main buffet food selection is that good we did not want to miss it. On the drinks front, we liked the newly added Lemon beer, very refreshing. Not as many cocktails as last time, possibly for reasons as they do take time to prepare which could result in longer wait times. Bar staff do work at a very fast pace and I might suggest that H10 put on extra staff during busy periods. There is little time to discuss your order and there is less opportunity for friendly social moments. The open area leading to the coffee shop and restaurants has changed. Gone is the small speed way track for children, and in its place are fountains and beautiful flower and water features. There is also a very comfortable seating section over looking the sea which is a big improvement. Perfect any time of day to relax and take in the atmosphere. No mosquitoes to worry about in the evening, a perfect end to a perfect day as the moon shines on a calm sea. My wife and I spent 11 nights at the H10 Tindaya and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Its a lovely place with a lot to offer comfortable rooms, good food, and a beautiful beach though there are a few areas that could use some improvement. Cleanliness: Our room was spotless cleaned daily, fresh, and well maintained. We have absolutely no complaints in that regard. However, cleanliness in the main restaurant could be better. During peak hours, there didnt seem to be enough staff to keep up with cleaning tables, and sometimes we had to wait for a free, clean spot. Simply wiping tables with the same cloth wasnt enough. Better organization and more attention to detail would definitely improve the dining experience. Food: The food in the main restaurant was excellent tasty, varied, and plentiful. There was always something delicious to choose from. Unfortunately, the Route 66 restaurant was disappointing. The menu was very average, and the food quality did not match the standards of the main restaurant. The staff seemed untrained a waitress spilled my water while serving and didnt even apologize or offer to replace it. The place lacked atmosphere (no music, no vibe), and overall the service was subpar compared to the rest of the hotel. Beach: The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, clean, and the water crystal clear. However, it becomes significantly smaller during high tide, which can be inconvenient if you expect plenty of space to relax. Also, its worth noting that there were naturists on the beach (mostly older guests), which might come as a surprise to some visitors. Room: Our room exceeded expectations spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. We were really happy with it. The only downside was the location: it was right above the restaurant, so we could hear the noise of tables and cutlery being moved from around 6:00 a.m. until late evening. A simple solution would be to train the restaurant staff to minimize noise before 7:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m., which would make a big difference for guests staying in this area. Service special thanks to Abdel: Wed like to give special recognition to our waiter, Abdel. His service was outstanding professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Thanks to him, every meal was a pleasure. Summary: H10 Tindaya is a very good hotel with a lot to offer great food, a beautiful beach, spacious rooms, and mostly professional staff. Still, theres room for improvement in restaurant cleanliness and noise management near the dining area. We also had the impression that Polish guests, especially those traveling with Itaka, tend to be assigned rooms in less favorable locations. It would be great if the hotel could pay more attention to fair room distribution among guests from different travel agencies. Despite these minor issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.

We stayed here for 11 days and booked two of the privilege junior suite terrace rooms. Firstly, the welcome we received was warm and genuine - thank you Bruno! The particular rooms we had booked were part of the Privilege service which allows for dining in an a la carte restaurant, and also the other option of Route 66 (all restaurants require prior booking). Firstly to the food - you won't get bored. There is plenty of choice and options as part of the all inclusive privilege deal (even for the pickiest of eaters). The buffet restaurant at lunch has a wide variety to suit everyone. You can even opt to eat in the buffet restaurant for dinner if you don't fancy the a la carte option of Alisios which is quite formal compared to others. Mike's Coffee provides a lovely selection of coffees for during the day or for after dinner. The service in all the restaurants, bars, and coffee shop is excellent, with staff friendly and helpful. A very big thank you especially to Christina in the Alisios restaurant for breakfast and in Mike's coffee whose service, humour, and amazing memory of our orders was second to none which truly demonstrated a real attention to detail and care. The rooms we stayed in were bright and airy and if you prefer the privacy of being able to have your own sun lounging area during the day, these rooms are highly recommended. The mini bar is restocked daily as part of the Privilege package. What really made our stay super special and memorable was how the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. Agota (Guest Services) was a true wiz at making sure everything was perfect. I supplied a few bits and pieces such as photos, and she turned it into magic. It is evident that Agota is not only fabulous at her job, but genuinely loves it. Our daughter felt super special and it is something that we will never forget - thank you. Thanks to Ibrahim (Alisios restaurant) for also making the birthday dinner a lovely one to remember. I am a H10 club member and have stayed in several of their hotels. A common theme is the level of service and care that is provided. Well done yet again H10 and particularly to the H10 Tindaya on this occasion. A 4 star hotel, but on par (if not better) with some of the 5 stars we've stayed in.

We stayed for ten nights last May in a privilege junior suite with terrace and found the H10 Tindaya to be an excellent all-round hotel. We have stayed at many H10 hotels before, some five times but I would highly recommend the Tindaya, it does not exceed in every aspect, but it does not let you down in any aspect either. From arriving at reception and being greeted by Samual Martinez, who is by far the best front of house employee I have had the pleasure of meeting at any H10 hotel! everything just seemed to work, Samual could not do enough for us throughout our stay and was a breath of fresh air compared to the reception staff at our last H01 hotel only a few months earlier. The room was a good size, well proportioned, spotlessly clean and well maintained, a great terrace with full sun and a sea view. The restaurants where excellent, we always had breakfast in the Alisios, lunch in the Betancuria and evening meal in either the Alissios or route 66, never disappointed with the quality or service and any restaurant. We found the privilege lounge to be comfortable and more than adequate with the variety of drinks and snacks available, we only use the solarium once but it was nicely set out with limited drinks available for self-service. The entertainment was as expected at mainstream hotels, with this being a family hotel the children certainly enjoyed the early evening sessions with Daisy, though the entertainment room was rather busy the bar people worked tirelessly to ensure you never waited for long, oh, did I mention Voll Damm on draught, excellent! The grounds are well maintained and though there was work being carried out on the pool bar area this was of no inconvenience, the hotel is in a nice position to have a walk around the beach or along the paved area. Overall an excellent hotel, great location, a decent privilege package, great room option, exceptional food and service, the staff are just excellent, we will certainly return and are hoping that our visit to another H10 in Mexico in six week’s time can complete with the service given at the Tindaya.
