Enjoy Córdoba in a historic palace

The H10 Palacio Colomera is a hotel located in the former Casa Colomera, built in 1928, which was the palace of the counts of the same name. Located in the central Plaza de las Tendillas, the hotel project has sought to recover the palatial atmosphere of the old building. It has cosy rooms, a garden patio with a plunge pool and a Rooftop Bar overlooking the Plaza de las Tendillas. Its recent extension adds to the hotel the new breakfast restaurant Las Meninas, a second Rooftop Bar with 360º views of the city, a large and luminous rest area in the atrium of the hotel, and cosy rooms for small meetings.

Wonderful experience

My daughter and I were lucky enough to stay in one of the junior suites for 3 nights in July. We absolutely loved our stay! The room was gorgeous and had a fabulous view of the beautiful square. The weather was extremely hot, so we enjoyed a cool down in the pool each afternoon. The pool itself is shallow but a good size and you can order drinks via a QR code. The roof terrace is beautiful and the staff were friendly and efficient. We hope to return!

A stunning palace hotel in the heart of Córdoba

TravellingMamaYYZ

We stayed at the H10 Palacio Colomera in Córdoba, set right on Plaza de las Tendillas, and it was wonderful. The hotel is a beautifully restored 1928 palace that once belonged to the Counts of Colomera, and it still has that elegant, palatial feel. The location is amazing and very central. The plaza itself is lively, especially in the evenings, and theres a little splash pad style fountain that our kids absolutely loved for cooling off. It was extremely hot at the end of June, so that was a hit. The square is also just pretty to be around and there were lots if benches in to sit around. We booked a suite and were upgraded to a spacious duplex suite. It had a clean, functional bathroom, and they had a crib ready along with a little stuffy for the baby, such a thoughtful touch. The sofas converted into twin size beds, so our older child slept without any problem. There was a lovely little private patio overlooking the pool, with a hanging egg chair and a shaded seating area, so cute. The bedroom was spacious too, and they left us plenty of complimentary chocolate, which was a nice extra. Location really is the star. We walked everywhere. The Mezquita is only about ten to fifteen minutes away on foot, and the whole town is incredibly charming. Even in the heat, walking wasnt bad because the main streets have canopies strung between the buildings for shade. Mornings were a great time to visit the Mezquita, and we also wandered over to the Roman Bridge and explored all around. Breakfast was really nice, with great service and good quality ingredients. We also went up to the rooftop bar, which seems popular with locals too. Its higher up, so you get a lovely view over the city, a beautiful sunset, and even the moon at night. The drinks were good. We didnt use the pool, but its a cute, cozy one, small but pretty standard for the region. It would have been nice to dip in given the heat if wed had more time. There was no gym. Getting there was easy. We came by train from Barcelona and grabbed a taxi from the Córdoba station to the hotel, about a fifteen minute ride. You cant drive right into the square, but taxis pull up on the side street with no problem for drop off and loading bags. My husband later walked back to pick up the rental car near the station, which took about fifteen to twenty minutes on foot. The walk and the taxi take about the same time since the taxi has to loop around, but with a lot of bags, the kids, and the heat, walking wasnt an option for us. The streets are quite narrow, so hauling large bags through them would have been tough. Honestly, this place is charming and Id stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever return to Córdoba. Service was great and it was so convenient. It was our first time at a H10 hotel and we were happy with the choice.

Good stay, with some unnecessary issues.

Richard H

I recently stayed here. I have to say it was a very good location to access the city being very central. The checkin was exceptional, with all aspects covered very professionally and even my membership of the H10 loyalty scheme was recognised without me even making not of this on the booking. The only downside was the noise in the morning from the mood music which started very early and cleaners and people prepping the hotel. Seem all a bit unnecessary and slightly insensitive.

Modern in an old city

DayTrip03845916362

Location is central, walkable to the Mezquita; Puente Romano and even closer to the Romab column ruins. There are other hotels closer to the Mezquita but we like that the area is modern, gets a lot of light and opens to the plaza. The shops are also close for both retail shopping and grocery runs. The rooms are sizable but we got a double corner room. If you need a cab it is basically in front of the hotel which is convenient. If anything, the lighting can be a bit on the dim side but I find that is common in old rooms in Europe.
