Wonderful hotel highly recommend

We would highly recommend this hotel the whole stay was amazing the staff so friendly welcoming the rooms were spotless the whole hotel was spotless the entertainment was great catering for all. Great selection of foods for dining. Lovely pool area , bus stop just outside to go either to cambrils or salou. Further out if wish too. Every 10 mins or so.

Excellent break

Stayed at the Playa during the 1st week of September. This was our 2nd stay here and it was excellent. The hotel is very clean and all the staff are excellent. Clara, therese, noella and jose at the bar were excellent. The animation team of ali, Judith, nazaret and Oscar were 1st class. The pool area was spacious and, although the hotel seemed full, there was never any difficulty getting a sun lounger. We enjoyed the buffet each evening and there was always a wide variety of options. It was particularly nice having the option of eating on the decking outside.the evening entertainment ranged from musicians to 'quizz shows', as well as a mini disco for kids. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable time, and are looking forward to future stays.

Great hotel for families

We had a 10 night stay at H10 Cambrils Playa, August 2026 as a family of 3. Having stayed in a H10 in Tenerife, Id say the quality of this hotel is good but perhaps more like a nice 3* than 4*. The finish in the bedroom is not as nice as in other hotels Ive stayed in, but nice toiletries and facilities throughout. 18 months ago we stayed at the Estival Centurion over the road, and watched forlornly at the fun being had in the H10 pool, where the Estival did not have family vibes and lacked a bit of atmosphere, so we thought wed try here. Im glad we did as this was much more fun, less stuffy, and ideal for families. The hotel is in a good location right next to bus stops, very short walk to a lovely beach, and great for travelling between Cambrils and Salou. Sunbeds - no problem at all, some people dashed out early but towels are generally removed if you hog them. We came and went throughout the day and never had issues getting a sunbed. Its busy 11-1pm and from 4pm onwards where you might find there arent many beds, but as mentioned we always managed to find something. Its very quiet in the heat of the day when many guests had lunch. The pool was lovely, as always in this area generally no inflatables usually allowed but they had one inflatable party and my little boy loved it. Shane it couldnt happen more often! Oscar in the animation team did a great job with leading pool exercise, really fun. He was fantastic working across all languages. Food - really high quality. Menus did repeat in the 10 days but despite the quality my gripe was that it was feast and famine as a pescatarian who is slightly more towards vegetarian. Some nights I was pretty much just on salad and pizza. I certainly didnt starve though but would be great to get at least one solid vegetarian dish daily. We do as a family need to accommodate nut allergies and staff were helpful - main concerns were really desserts. Everything is a may contain of course but they were clear about which dishes contained actual nuts. Rooms- we had a pool facing room which unfortunately was right next to the lift and if going again I would request not to be by the lift as you can hear the motor from 6am. I thought the size of the room even with 3 beds was fine. The beds were too firm for my liking but the kids bed had a memory foam mattress. I have a lot of back problem so my 20kg child who can sleep comfortably on a rock went in one of the firmer beds, I had the softer one and my partner slept ontop of the thin duvet for some extra cushioning. Really think the beds should be softer! Beds seem to have mixed reviews so maybe some are softer than others. Cleaning was a bit hit and miss. Beds only changed every 4 days, but on both occasions I had to ask and justify getting the sheets changed! My son spilt water on day 7 and I left a note in Spanish politely asking for a change of sheets, which was removed and the same sheets put back on! They were changed day 5 and 9 after requests only directly to the maid - Id asked reception but they werent done then. This really wasnt good enough, in my opinion. I do understand the need to reduce water use and we certainly reduced towels change requests much as possible, but in the heat of summer with suncream, being hot etc overnight, I think you should be able to request an earlier sheet change and be accommodated. The hotel main areas were clean, no issues there. Son didnt use kids club as almost all kids were Spanish speaking but it looked fun. Staff were fantastic - very polite, helpful. We ate at the poolside bar, lovely food and service. The young lad working as a waiter in the outdoor area was fantastic too (didnt catch his name). The kids loved watching the stray cats which were quite tame and didnt bother anybody. Bike hire was good, they had kids bikes and helmets for all at a very reasonable price. Many thanks to the team - we had a great holiday and fingers crossed when we return to the area next time the vegetarian offer will be improved!

More or less an adult hotel perfect for quiet get away

Lets start with the good bits clean, nice big pool. Room done every day. Food not to bad managed to find things I liked. Most of the reception staff were lovely apart from one who was so rude to me and my daughter we were in total shock. Negatives no ball games, rubber rings, etc allowed at all in the pool. Saw a few kids crying because of this including my grand children. It took two hours on the easy jet transfer to get to the hotel so be prepared for a long journey. Not much to do for kids half hour entertainment so late 9 oclock evening. If you want a nice quiet holiday near the beach perfect. Not really for kids.
