One group on Saturday night were excellent the rest of the evenings the animation team treated adults like children.How much is this candle or Tshirt worth. I would prefer peace and quiet. Not like last September entertainment on most nights.We have started buying our drinks at night in hotels with entertainment

Our experience in H10 playa Cambrils

Positives:
Hotel was lovely, room a good size and a view over looking the pool.
Hotel very clean.
Food was adequate a typical half board. You'll not starve as plenty of choice.
Bar staff Robbie, Maxi and others very friendly looked after us well. The staff in the restaurant, reception all very friendly and helpful.
The entertainment staff lovely young people. Oscar, Ali and Judit brilliant.
The hotel entertainment 1st few days brilliant then 2nd half of our stay was very poor.
Location quite.
Bus service very good.
Beautiful beach nearby and beautiful walk either to Saluo or Cambrils you are 3.8k to Saluo and 3.3k to Cambrils.
Negatives:
No kettle in the bed room and when i requested 1 none available.
Sunbeds being reserved from 6.30am and no one using them until 2 or 2.30pm this leaving no available sunbeds. When this was reported to staff it then takes 1 hour before towels are removed before you can get a sunbed. This was really disappointing.

Weve just returned from a week at this hotel with our baby and had a nice holiday but do feel some things could be improved.
We felt the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good, however the floor in our room was dirty and never got any better throughout our stay.
The food was ok and definitely got better as the week went on. It wasnt always the hottest but staff were constantly replacing the trays with fresh food to try and keep up with this.
Our main issue with our stay was the location. The beach is just a minutes walk away and is beautiful but other than this there is nothing around. A tiny supermarket next door and a pharmacy is all that is close by. It is a long walk (around 50 minutes) to the closest town centre with shops, bars and restaurants. Apparently there is a good bus service but this just isnt ideal when we have a pram and lots of baby essentials to take with us. It would be good if the hotel offered a good snack menu for lunchtimes as this was a real issue for us, we ended up just eating crisps from the shop next door as there was nowhere nearby to go for lunch and all that was on offer at the hotel was a pizza, toastie or salad at a very expensive price.
The staff were always helpful if we needed anything and the mini club staff were also great.

Bad smell of smoke

First impressions were not good when arriving at this hotel as soon as you walk through the door there is a terrible strong smell of smoke in the main reception this is coming from the two doors that lead to the pool where the smoking area is ,so non smokes like my self and children have to walk through smoke to go to the pool .This is a bad place for the smokers there should be a different area away from the doors.They are tables outside which are no smoking but some people still smoke there and are not asked to move.The next thing is the sun beds I only had a sun bed three days out of the two weeks .people reserve bed early in the morning and most dont even come down till 2pm or not at all as they go out for the day .The pool man did put tickets on the beds that no one was using saying the the towels would be took off after an hour but this never happened no towels were took off the hole two weeks I was there .On the up side the rooms are very nice and the food is very good.location is great the beach is only five minutes away and is very nice.I would go back to this hotel but only in low season think there would be better chance of getting a sun bed
