H10 Porto Poniente, Benidorm

This is the 5th H10 hotel we have stayed at. We were playing golf at the nearby courses, so decided to stay here for a week. The hotel has an underground car park, which was a key factor. We did not like Benidorm at all, but this hotel is really nice. If it hasnt been so nice, we would have changed our plans. Arriving by car was pretty straightforward. The street outside is almost pedestrian, and there are a lot of people around, particularly on mobility scooters !! In fact, the hotel even has a parking area for mobility scooters. Who knew you could get tandem ones ! The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I booked a partial sea view balcony room, which was very pleasant. We were on the 5th floor, which is where the bar/restaurant and plunge pool is situated. We preferred this bar, as it was easier to be served (not many people there in low season). We were on half board, and the meals are buffets. I dont like buffet dinners, but actually, this one was fine. If you wait until 8pm, many people have finished, and the food is still regularly replenished. Certainly worth the price we paid. The restaurant is run like a military operation and the maitre d is one of the most efficient Ive ever seen. He seems to be everywhere all at the same time, and overseeing everything. We saw lots of monitoring and stock taking, and I imagine there are daily meetings to ensure the hotel runs efficiently. As I say, we wont be returning to Benidorm, but if you have to come, I recommend you stay here. We will certainly continue to stay at H10 hotels elsewhere in Spain.

Lovely hotel. Perfect location for Old Town. Pool area lovely with bar and totally relaxing vibe. Rooms spacious and the beds soooooo comfortable. The staff were warm and so welcoming absolutely wonderful! Would highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely return.

Arrived at this splendid hotel, right on the front, adjacent to the beach. Met by very friendly and helpful staff in reception. Glass of Cava as we booked in. Upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival. The room was immaculate, huge bed, lovely bathroom. Terrace looked out into neighboring apartment block, is the only slight downside. Not a huge issue for us. Book a sea view if it is for you. Restaurant was excellent. Great choice of food. Very attentive staff, enhancing the experience. Great location for the Old Town. Will be coming back one day. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

We loved our room overlooking the sea. The sunbathing and pool areas on the upper levels were great. The ambience of the reception,bar and restaurant areas was very relaxing. The hotel was spotlessly clean too. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. We loved our stay.
