An Incredible Stay with Even Better Service

We couldn't have asked for a better experience at The One Barcelona! The location was fantastic, but what really made our stay so special was the incredible customer service. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of.
The concierge team was absolutely phenomenal. Almost every request we had was handled immediately, and they made everything so easy for us. We had a terrible experience arriving at the Barcelona airport, where we spent nearly three hours in passport control, only to discover that our driver (not affiliated with the hotel) had left us. We were determined not to repeat that experience on our way home, and Cesar, Richard and the rest of the concierge team helped us arrange VIP airport services for our departure. What a difference! Even though the airport was incredibly busy, we were escorted past the long lines and made it to our gate with ease. We were so grateful for their help.
The hotel staff also went out of their way to make our boys feel special. They surprised them with children's bath products, including soaps, shampoo and hairbrushes, along with coloring books and crayons. Such thoughtful little touches that made a big impression on our family.
Our Corner Junior Suite was beautiful and so well appointed for our family of four. I also wanted to mention how much I appreciated Ingrid, who was my contact before our stay. She had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived and even made a point to come introduce herself at breakfast. It was such a thoughtful gesture :)
And I have to mention the spa! I absolutely love spas, and one of my favorite memories from our entire trip was getting to enjoy the spa facilities together as a family. The hotel offers designated family hours, and we were able to reserve a time for our boys to join us. We had the entire spa area to ourselves, which was wonderful because we could relax and enjoy the experience together without worrying about disturbing other guests. It was something so special that I'll truly never forget. My husband and I also enjoyed massages during our stay, and both were phenomenal.
We loved absolutely everything about The One Barcelona. The beautiful hotel, fantastic location and especially the wonderful people who took such good care of us made our stay unforgettable. We're already planning our next trip to Barcelona, and there's no question about where we'll be staying again. We can't wait to return!

Great Stay at The One Barcelona with Exceptional Service Recovery

My overall experience at The One Barcelona was great, though it unfortunately had a concerning start regarding my health and safety.
Before arriving, I had requested strict feather free bedding due to severe medical health issues. Upon arrival, this request was not addressed properly. To make matters worse a housekeeper named Lilian completely failed to understand what my allergy meant, refused to clean the mattress properly to remove the remaining feathers and simply left the room without taking any responsibility for my health or safety.
Fortunately, the rest of the staff stepped in immediately and turned things around completely. The housekeeping supervisor, Ms. Maryam along with Ms. Sumaya took over right away and did a marvelous job thoroughly cleaning and preparing the room so it was completely safe for me. The next day Ms. Atika , hotel housekeeping chief, personally came by to apologize for what Lilian did, which I truly appreciated that kind of accountability means a lot.
On top of that, Ms.Maxim, the Front Desk Supervisor, went above and beyond to make everything right from day one.
On my last night she even left a lovely note alongside a sweet chocolate gift, which was such a warm and thoughtful gesture.
A few highlights from my stay:
* Location: The location is a huge plus! It sits right in the center of Barcelona and is super close to everything, including great shopping centers and local cafés.
* Junior Suite: The suite itself (405) was remarkably quiet, spotlessly clean, and very spacious.
* Comfort: Once properly prepared, the bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
* Bathroom: A stunning, big marble bathroom with excellent facilities.
* Room Service: The room service was great! I ordered dinner once and breakfast once during my stay and both meals were delicious.
* Concierge & Check Out: A special shout out to Ms. Maxim and the concierge team who were very helpful throughout my stay and I really appreciated how quick and easy the check out process was.
I was honestly left speechless by the level of care and warm treatment I received overall. Despite the initial health hazard caused by Lilian, the incredible hospitality and dedication from Ms. Maxim, Ms. Maryam, Ms. Sumaya, and Ms. Atika made my stay truly wonderful. I am very grateful to them!
