The One Barcelona, Barcelona

One of the best hotels I ever stayed at, it was clean, the staff was unbelievable and friendly. ,the breakfast at the restaurant was amazing and I recommend everybody to stay here. The room was trendy, clean and up-to-date. They have a sauna which I used daily and workout gym. They have a pool downstairs and upstairs at rooftop with a restaurant that was beautiful and amazing. I could not ask for a better hotel to stay with my family and the location is ideal next to the La Ramblas Street which has all the top brand shopping next to all the metro points, especially hop on hopoff tour bus. You also have 2 famous landmarks next to hotel. The concierge also was wonderful because they setup 2 tours and made reservations for us at top restaurants. MUST STAY HOTEL, did I mention its GL (better than 5 stars hotel).

We booked (2) nights at The One Barcelona before/after a cruise and I was very impressed! We stayed here due to other traveler's reviews as well as being advertised as a great option by Virgin Voyages. First, when we flew into Barcelona and arrived at the hotel, you are greeted by multiple staff members (including security and concierge) which assist with your bags immediately upon parking. The staff speak English (amongst other languages) and they have a 24 hour service desk. We arrived around 1:30 pm the day before our cruise and were exhausted from our 30 hour travel period and they got us into our room (before the 3:00 pm check in). This was an incredible relief as I figured we'd have to sit around and wait until 3:00. We were able to get some sleep and then went up to the rooftop restaurant/bar (MOOD) for a some dinner/drinks. This was a very convenient option for us as we were not entirely ready to go exploring for hours. The food and drinks were good and the rooftop experience was fantastic- GREAT VIEWS. The room was SO beautiful- cozy, classy, comfy. The shower gel/shampoo/conditioner was also divine. We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the first night and costed $498 (US dollars). The hotel lobby/room floors are so very classy and clean. After our cruise ended, we stayed another night prior to flying home the next day. Again, we arrived early (11:30 a.m.) to the hotel. We were able to pay a small fee (25 euros) to upgrade our room selection and get checked in immediately. At that point I did not even care about the 25 euros since it allowed us to drop our bags in the room and go explore. They do have luggage storage on site, we just did not take advantage of this. After dinner we came back to the room and we realized turn down service is a thing here (We did not have it the first night we stayed because we think we had our Do Not Disturb light on). It was not really advertised on the website, but turn down service is offered- closed curtains, bottled water/glasses set out, slippers laid out on the floor, mints, bed linen untucked. We stayed in a Cosy Room on the second night and costed $447 (US dollars). Prior to our stay(s), I had reached out via the website via email to ask a couple of questions and within a couple of hours I received emails back from staff at the hotel. They were very helpful and friendly via email and in person. You also cannot beat the location of this hotel. It's close to lots of great places to eat, drink, shop or simply walk around and appreciate Barcelona's architecture within the beautiful neighborhoods. You will need your passport at check-in (which I think is needed at any hotel, but good to know regardless). I would absolutely stay here again!

Our experience at the One Barcelona was lovely. The hotel is clean and quiet even though its located in the city center. We booked two rooms a suite for our three kids and a standard for myself and my husband and both rooms were excellent with all the extras youd expect from a 5 star hotel. Including a much appreciated welcome bottle of champagne and chocolates. Even better than the amenities were the staff. From the doormen to those that checked us in, everyone was super helpful and kind. My kid had a PlayStation Portable that he needed assistance to get to get online, and they went above and beyond to sort it all out for him. We didnt wake up early enough to try the included breakfast and we went out for our other meals so I cant comment on the food, but based on our experience with everything else Id imagine itd also be good. I definitely highly recommend this hotel and will more likely choose an H10 group hotel because of our experience here.

Excellent experience at this hotel.Enjoyed our room and the location was perfect. The staff of this hotel was exceptional.The true meaning of hospitality-they showed a real team effort. I needed extra ice packs for an injury and they asked how I was doing the next day. Concierge and dining staff five stars.We will stay at this hotel when we return to Barcelona and we have told our friends from the US that this is The One!-that they should stay here!
