H10 Racó del Pi, Barcelona

The quietest hotel we have ever stayed in. It was absolutely perfect; fantastic location, fabulous staff, lovely clean room with quality linens and toiletries (including toothpastes and toothbrushes) and a mini bar. My husband would have liked one English TV channel but I was very happy without. Our room was at the back of the hotel with a window overlooking an alleyway with planted balconies and some very clean washing but was so peaceful when you think where its situated. Loved the cava on arrival, the great choice at breakfast and the coffee and croissants available in the afternoon and evening. There is a pleasant atrium which must be lovely in summer. Thank you. Very special stay in wonderful Barcelona.

Brilliant hotel in a great location. Really comfortable beds, and excellent shower with plenty of toiletries. The staff are hardworking and friendly. Check in was easy with a complementary glass of cava! Free cakes and coffee available in the foyer too. There isnt a kettle in the room though. Breakfast was good with hot food cooked to order served by two lovely ladies. Very easy to get to just off las rambles and close to the airport shuttle bus stop. We would definitely stay here again. We were very happy with our stay in H10. The hotel is very close to the old cathederal and on a pretty street full of boutique shops and a good bakery/ cafe. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was well supplied with necessities but we asked for and were suplied with a kettle.The hotel was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was good. Due to the nature of the Gothic quarter where the buildings are very close together, if your windows are open, noise will travel up. I have no idea what it would be like in summer for Brits who are not used to warm weather. January was like our spring so our room temperature was just nice. Our balcony windows were well soundproofed and when we leaned out we could see a lovely view of the nearby church. Our concierge also recommended a great vegetarian restaurant which we tried and enjoyed. We travelled by taxi from the airport but some of our fellow guests effortlessly arrived by bus, which given the nature of the Gothic quater was very srnsible. We did not pay allot for our stay and felt that the hotel was excellent value for money.

We have been very happy with the hotel which is situated in the very heart of the city centre with many landmarks within a walking distance. The staff have been amazing, Brenda and Mamen accommodated my sons food preferences. The room was cosy and clean with everything working. We would definitely recommend it :)
