An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Barcelona!

My wife and I recently stayed at the H10 Metropolitan from Sunday to Thursday the first week of May 2026, and it was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the level of service and attention to detail was exemplary. A Seamless Start After a long journey, there is nothing quite like being greeted with a chilled glass of Cava. It was the perfect "welcome to Barcelona" moment and set a luxurious tone for the rest of our trip. To our absolute surprise and delight, the staff had a room allocated and keys in our hands before 11:00 AM! We fully expected to be leaving our bags with the concierge and returning later to check in. Having access to our room that early made a massive difference to our first day in the city. Modern Vibes & Exceptional Bar Staff What we loved most about the atmosphere is how it strikes the perfect balance. While it clearly caters to both tourists and business guests, it feels incredibly modern and contemporary. It doesnt have that "stiff" or clinical feel of a typical business hotel in the middle of a major European city; instead, it feels like a stylish, high-end retreat. The bar staff were truly excellent and became a highlight of our evenings. A special mention must go to Luna V. and an older gentleman named Adolfo (I think). They both made us feel so incredibly welcome, engaging us in lovely, genuine conversations that made the hotel feel like a home away from home. Thoughtful Dining & Service The breakfasts were good and very plentiful. We especially appreciated how attentive the staff were to my preferences. On Day 1, my omelette was a bit too undercooked and "wet" for my liking, so I didn't actually try it. However, on Day 2, the waitress was one step ahead and asked mebefore I even had the chance to request itif I wanted my omelette well done. That is top-tier service! On Day 3, I enjoyed a delicious Spanish omelette, and on Day 4, I opted for a simple, quality breakfast of toast and cereal. My wife plumped for the poached eggs with sides of mushrooms and beans each morning. While we didnt eat dinner at the hotel, the restaurant menu looked fantastic and very tempting. The Room & Amenities The room was impressively large for a European city hotel. It was stocked with thoughtful touches, including fresh bottled water provided daily, Lindt chocolates, and even bottles of Appletize on our first day. One small note: while we had a balcony, it didnt add much value as they are quite small and don't have chairs to sit outside, but the extra space inside more than made up for it. Regarding the facilities, the outdoor pool by the downstairs bar was closed during our stay. The rooftop pool was open for use, though the rooftop bar was closed as it was technically "out of season" while we were there. Even so, the views were lovely. The Verdict: The staff here truly understand the meaning of hospitality. From the early check-in to the personalized service at breakfast and the wonderful bar team, they go above and beyond. We wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else in Barcelona!

Very good bar to relax

H10 Metropolitan is a modern hotel located next to the Catalunya Squares, in the center of Barcelona. I come here sometimes to drink tea or coffee, when I want to relax and take a break, if I have time. It is a very nice place to read a book or use your PC. A very good place in the center of Barcelona. A relaxing moments inside the bar/restaurant.

Great service Breakfast a la carte

Excellent hotel extraordinary service especially a la carte breakfast service given by Katherine, Iveth, Daymara and Romina. They really do it very professionally and with a smile. Congratulations on that human team. It was an extraordinary 4 days

Lovely citybreak

The hotel was great. Staff was very friendly, Valentina, Kath, Iveth and Romi mad sure we had an excellent breakfast every day. Their kindness and smile made us feel welcomed. Everything was high quality. We would definitely recommend others to come here if they need a perfect place to stay while discovering Barcelonas beauty.
