The hotel location is excellent, good public transport (including Aerobus) options and major attractions nearby, but one or two blocks away from the busiest streets with lots of tourists.
The level of service at the reception was impressive - we had a minor issue with discount codes (which might have been my own fault) in the booking, but the lady checking us in was very thorough and patiently solved the issue with a couple of phone calls. Later on when we decided to extend our stay by one night, the service was again very good and flexible. Clearly the hotel is well run with excellent staff members.
The breakfast is expensive, but worth it - both the a la carte and buffet options are very high quality, as is the service in the restaurant.
The rooftop terrace is very nice as well.
The room (Classic Barcelona) was good enough, although somewhat small (but probably typical to Barcelona) and maybe the sound proofing could be a bit better considering the relatively high price of the hotel. In any case we would definitely visit the hotel again!

Perfect girls weekend

Myself and 3 friends had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel for a long weekend! Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, especially the lady at breakfast. Our rooms were stunning and very comfortable. We enjoyed the roof top bar, the food is excellent and reasonably priced! We found some amazing places to go thanks to the hotel staff and explored all of what Barcelona had to offer. We cant wait to go back!
