H10 Catalunya Plaza, Barcelona

My family had a difficult start to our week-long trip to Spain. We were traveling with two little ones (5yo & 1.5yo), luggage did not make the transfer, etc. When checking in, I find out that I incorrectly started our reservation a day before we arrived. The front desk informed me that I lost my reservation and we waited for 20 minutes in the lobby to find out "what was possible". We had booked one of the apartment rooms to accommodate 3 adults and 2 children, and I had planned both work and personal itineraries around this location -- I was in town for a work convention and my family had come along. That 20 min wait was grueling (complete with mom breakdown and crying children) and it did require a couple days to properly sort out the situation; however, I want to write a glowing review for H10 Catalunya Plaza because the front desk team was able to locate a replacement room (not an apartment, but was able to comfortable squeeze in the whole family) for the first 2 days of our stay. Then, they proactively moved us back into our original apartment booking for the remaining 4 days of our stay. The staff would proactively check in on us to see how we were doing and were incredibly kind and accommodating to my children. In the end, my family and myself -- made the best of our smaller room (which had a beautiful patio the kids enjoyed greatly), were stunned at the beauty and history of our apartment when we moved up there, and deeply enjoyed the daily breakfast, which became a favorite memory for the adults and kids alike. Self-described by my 5yo as a home away from home by the end -- I would not have thought that possible based on the start, but the H10 Cataluyna Plaza showed us incredible hospitality and I would highly recommend the hotel to those looking to enjoy Barcelona, especially families.

This centrally located hotel can not be beat. You are steps away from all the sightseeing and transportation to take you all over the city. The front reception, Ivan went out of his way to make our accommodations the absolute very best. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable beds. I loved this hotel so much I'm planning on another vacation with girlfriends and will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

It’s a perfect location and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed in the family suit and it was good enough space for a family of 4 with two teens. We enjoyed the bathroom and the shower water pressure was perfect. It was a great stay and the perfect location.

Hotel is centrally located in Barcelona Perfect for all the buses and metro stations. Over looking Placa de Catalyuna Great location to explore from Staff very helpful and friendly . Helped us plan our visits to tourist attractions. Highly recommend Good value for money Our room over looking the square Lots to watch.

Very nice and charming hotel on a great location. The family suite is very good value for a 5 person family with plenty off space for all family members. The breakfast was excellent and had a lot off variety. The staff was very vriendly. I would certainly recommend it to other families.
