A good stay overall

This was our first time staying at the H10 Conquistador and we opted for the Privilege All Inclusive package. Overall, we felt the Privilege package was absolutely worth every penny.
One of the highlights for us was the calm atmosphere at the Privilege breakfast. Claudia and Jessica were amazing after just a couple of days they knew exactly what we liked each morning and would bring over our extras (tea, ketchup, extra toast, etc.) without us even having to ask. Their service really stood out and made breakfast feel extra special.
The quality of food in the la carte restaurants was excellent. We visited the Italian, Sakura and the Steakhouse, The show cooking in the Sakura was an excellent experience. A huge benefit of Privilege was being able to visit these restaurants unlimited times during our stay, which made the holiday for us, we much prefer the la carte experience and the food in the buffet was average, other than the fresh cooking stations which were a nice feature.
We did have one poor experience during our first visit to the Steakhouse. We waited around 40 minutes for starters and then another 50 minutes for mains, and several other tables seemed to be experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately, there was no communication from staff about the delays and we werent offered drinks or an explanation while waiting. By the time the food arrived, the buffet had already closed. However, we spoke to reception and felt the issue was handled very well. On our next two visits to the Steakhouse, the service was excellent, so we genuinely feel it was just a one-off issue.
The bar staff throughout the hotel were fantastic. In particular, Jose Alberto, Rodolfo and Luciano were brilliant so friendly, warm and always up for a laugh. After a couple of days, they already knew our drinks order and would have the Grey Goose (another great Privilege perk!) and Aperol ready as we walked over. The speed of service at both the pool bar and lobby bar was honestly the best weve experienced at any all-inclusive hotel.
We never struggled to get sunbeds during our stay. There were always plenty available around all areas of the hotel. We especially liked the Privilege area around the main pool as the beds were extremely comfortable and there was much more atmosphere there compared to the quieter Privilege area on the 6th floor.
Our Privilege room was slightly disappointing mainly because of the size. It felt smaller than were used to, and the balcony layout took up quite a lot of room space, making it difficult to fully open suitcases and unpack comfortably.
We also visited the Turkish bath in the spa several times, which was included in the Privilege package. This was a lovely addition very relaxing and extremely well maintained.
The main downside for us was the entertainment and overall atmosphere of the hotel. During the day there wasnt a huge amount going on apart from occasional activities like aqua gym, bingo and a small mini golf mat. Were more used to hotels offering activities such as water polo, volleyball and football, which we usually enjoy getting involved in. The evening entertainment was also very hit and miss. It was a shame that the piano in the lobby bar wasnt used at all during our 10-day stay, as we think this would have helped create a much better atmosphere in the evenings.
Overall, while we genuinely could not fault the service anywhere in the hotel, we did feel it lacked atmosphere for a younger crowd. At times it felt more like a retirement hotel, which wasnt ideal for us as a young couple. Because of this, we probably wouldnt recommend it for young people looking to socialise or for families with young children.

Amazing hotel

Hard to write much bad about this place it is spotlessly clean, amazing food & brilliant staff & entertainment the only downfall (to us) is if you are a smoker/vaper this isnt the hotel for you. Strictly no smoking on your balcony & a small smoking area which is often used and unable to sit as only 2 tables and 2 benches that are used constantly & taken up by the smokers. We maybe should have read the reviews further to discover this as when we arrived, this was not what we expected, we like to sit on our balcony on holiday and able to vape. As someone with disabilities and unable to keep making that trip to the 'smoking area' it felt to us like we were made to feel we were off to the 'naughty corner' and unable to enjoy our room like we always do on a holiday. This is ideal for non smokers but as smokers ourselves we found this to be a real chore.
As said though otherwise cannot fault the hotel for anything else. Just a honest review and how we felt personally.

Good stay at this family friendly hotel

We stayed for one week half board at this family friendly hotel.
Overall we had a good experience, rooms were relatively clean albeit a little small for the 3 of us, was bit of a squeeze but we spend most of the day outside so not so bad. Fantastic location and good choice of facilities. Food was really good with a varied selection on offer, fairly good layout and separation of types of food (minimal cross contamination if you have specific dietary requirements)
Friendly staff and good kids entertainment team, our child loved the mini disco.
A couple of cons, entertainment is very loud and goes on until late, there is no sound proofing so dont expect to get to sleep before 11.00pm
The kids pool is super tiny and is the only place that children can play with any type of floats or balls.
Would definitely visit again.
