H10 Mediterranean Village, Salou - Cambrils

Were family of five and stayed for a week. We are very pleased with our stay overall. We consider the hotel being very pleasant for a family vacation. Pools are great and very well guarded. Also the splash park is very nice. Buffet restaurant had good food for our taste. Kids were very fond of minidisco. The bus to Salou and PortAventura goes right from next to the hotel. Very nice staff and service. Our room was perhaps slightly outdated but AC worked very well and was quiet. We usually have high standards when traveling and we think this hotel is better for families than many other even 5-star hotels weve been to before. Thanks a lot!

We have just come back from another amazing holiday! We came last year and this year It has been even better!! We LOVE It here, can't fault the hotel , staff is incredible, foos is out of this world and the staff are so nice and helpful. We Will be coming be back as we already booked for Next year. Another year here in this hotel. Great time as usual, all staff is amazing ,also the entertainment are so kind and helpful! Can't do more for the guests. Restaurant food is great and the service is always amazing. Can't fault it at all. I will be coming back again at the end of the season. Thanks so much H10!

Really fun holiday with the kids, hubby's brother and their baby, and hubby's parents. We didn't mind at all that the pools didn't open until ten - honestly it prevented sunbed booking which I abhor. The kids loved the pirate ship pool and the splash park. The lifeguards were vigilant. I suppose some people might think they were overly strict but honestly I preferred that they were strict and vigilant. There was loads for the kids to do and plenty of sunbeds - especially in the splash park area. The food was alright - I'm probably not the best person to review that part as I'm dairy intolerant so I didn't try half of what was available. There didn't appear to be any desserts that were dairy free, but I hate being that person who asks for special treatment so I didn't query this. They might have made something if I'd asked! They did have several alternative types of milk, though, which was great! A few things - on two separate occasions I witnessed child guests put the communal tongs in their mouths!! The other thing was that it was really hard to order a drink in the restaurant as there wasn't much staff availability so we started bringing the kids' water bottles downstairs to dinner. I'd recommend grabbing drinks from the lobby bar and bringing them to the restaurant. The entertainment was alright and the on-site supermarket reasonably priced - as were the drinks in the bar. The kids LOVED getting slushies. I love that this hotel does its best to be eco-friendly. No disposable cups, using renewable energy, providing free water at the bar to refill your water bottle etc. We also learned that the hotel gives their leftover food to a local food bank. All these little things, when adopted by a large business across the board, add up to make a big difference, so well done there - I really respect this. Last but not least, shout-out to a lovely young lady who seemed to be working there constantly - Lara, perhaps? I couldn't make out her name on her badge and didn't want to freak her out by asking her name, but one of our party though that might be her name. But she was so lovely. I worked in tourism for five years and know that high season is hard. It's very overstimulating and tiring and the hours are long. But she always had a smile on her face, was sweet with the children and chatty with the adults. Just had such a nice way about her and it didn't go unnoticed. All in all we had a lovely time. So good to relax in a hotel that cares about their impact on the world around them, enjoy the sun and good service at a reasonable price. I will also never get the pool entertainment song out of my head lol! It's in there forever.
